DSI Fault light on, just happened to me not knowing what it meant i did a search and then I found this video. You know how to explain and do a nice walk through. thanks for an excellent video that can save people a couple of hundred $$$ dollars specially when you go to the wrong place and they wont give you an honest estimate.
BRO!!!! Your video SAVED MY DAY!! I LIVE IN MY RV FOR NOW AND I WENT YO FILL MY PROPANE TANKS THIS EVENING SND EVEN I GOT BACK, couldn’t get it to light till I saw your video . I DID EVERYTHING YOU SAID AND THAT DSI LIGHT POPPED ON!!! Bro THANK YOU!!! I subscribed like a mofo!!!! THANK YOU AGAIN!!
Love it, so glad I was able to help you today ❤️ 🙌 thanks for the sub. My while reason for these videos is to help others even in the smallest way possible.
Good run down on simple steps to check. I switched to the opposite propane tank and Dsi fault extinguished. I thought I had plenty of propane as stove burners were working.
Yeah thank you, these tips seem to be helping alot and that's what I love doing. Something so simple can save someone a headache. Air in lines can do just that.
I remember when I used to call them “hot water heaters” lol. For decades!!!! Never thought about how hot water doesn’t need to be heated, so it’s called a “water heater” lol
I'm so glad I could refresh your memory, and that's why I make some of these videos. Just to remind myself lol. Thanks for watching we appreciate you 🙏 😊
Damm you did helped me out I had air in the lines from previous gas leak I had, I fixed the leak but still couldn’t get the light to turn on and turned all the burners on, let the air bleed and light came right on.
Alvin, I have a 21 grand design imagine my problem with my water heater is it doesn’t light when I set it to electric. I burns with gas for a few minutes before I get the dsi fault light comes on. I did the trouble shoot with no luck.
I noticed metal or burnt items now twice. Two separate camping trips, any idea where this could be coming from. I have to clean the area underneath where the burn is. Not exclusive but definitely noticeable. I have screens on the outside panel for bugs and whatnot. Thanks for any advice
Oh wow, I have no experience with them actually burning stuff. I don't use any bug screens myself. But it sounds like it's getting risky. Be safe and get a professional.
Ran through these steps and still have the DSI fault, but only on the propane side. Electric side works great… I’m guessing my next step is the propane regulator?
i think you need to adjust the air to gas ratio, ypur burner is a little loud, otherwise thanks for posting :) ruclips.net/video/GXtp_2sA8Ao/видео.html
Fixed my problem thank you! 👊🏼
Love to hear it 🙏❤️

Could be an electrical issue like fuse issue, or something along that line. To much draw with it set to electric. Test those fuses
I noticed metal or burnt items now twice. Two separate camping trips, any idea where this could be coming from. I have to clean the area underneath where the burn is. Not exclusive but definitely noticeable. I have screens on the outside panel for bugs and whatnot. Thanks for any advice

@@maxyourjourney ok thank you I appreciate you getting back to me. I wish you continued success.
@mayday-visions Thanks for the support. A small channel like me goes a long way.
Unfortunately this did not solve my issue. Still have a dsi fault
Time to seek professional help Goodluck and may the be easy on your pockets 😆
If iam getting a spark but no light is that most likely a issue with the gas? I switched tanks and lit the burners to try to get out any air
Keep trying close both tanks, then slowly reopen, making sure your tanks are full. Then slowly turn on burns or heater.
Ran through these steps and still have the DSI fault, but only on the propane side. Electric side works great… I’m guessing my next step is the propane regulator?
Yeah never made it that far into trouble shooting it, but that would be my next step as well. Can you please let me know if that solves it
@@maxyourjourney absolutely sir!
I'm trying to test my propane water heater on the camper we just bought. The electric works great. I tried propane today and got a dsi fault.
@@georgebeauchamp1690 still run through all the test, run the stove on high then try the water heater on propane.
I'm not using my gas at all. Mines on with electric. Please help me!
Ok it appeared to be a crossed wire. I now have hot water but my dsi/flt light won't go out lol. I can't catch a break here, but I do have hot water.
@@misslunafleur3825 wow cross wired maybe try resetting that breaker. Haven't ran into that issue myself.

Ah you're one of those people who speak redundantly lol what would be the point of heating hot water. Pretty sure it's just a water heater
i think you need to adjust the air to gas ratio, ypur burner is a little loud, otherwise thanks for posting :)
