    Good run down on simple steps to check. I switched to the opposite propane tank and Dsi fault extinguished. I thought I had plenty of propane as stove burners were working.

      Yeah thank you, these tips seem to be helping alot and that's what I love doing. Something so simple can save someone a headache. Air in lines can do just that.

    I remember when I used to call them “hot water heaters” lol. For decades!!!! Never thought about how hot water doesn’t need to be heated, so it’s called a “water heater” lol

    Alvin, I have a 21 grand design imagine my problem with my water heater is it doesn’t light when I set it to electric. I burns with gas for a few minutes before I get the dsi fault light comes on. I did the trouble shoot with no luck.

    • @maxyourjourney
      @maxyourjourney  Год назад +1

      Could be an electrical issue like fuse issue, or something along that line. To much draw with it set to electric. Test those fuses

    I noticed metal or burnt items now twice. Two separate camping trips, any idea where this could be coming from. I have to clean the area underneath where the burn is. Not exclusive but definitely noticeable. I have screens on the outside panel for bugs and whatnot. Thanks for any advice

    • @maxyourjourney
      @maxyourjourney  Год назад +2

      Oh wow, I have no experience with them actually burning stuff. I don't use any bug screens myself. But it sounds like it's getting risky. Be safe and get a professional.

    If iam getting a spark but no light is that most likely a issue with the gas? I switched tanks and lit the burners to try to get out any air

    • @maxyourjourney
      @maxyourjourney  Год назад +1

      Keep trying close both tanks, then slowly reopen, making sure your tanks are full. Then slowly turn on burns or heater.

  • @15Romeo19

    Ran through these steps and still have the DSI fault, but only on the propane side. Electric side works great… I’m guessing my next step is the propane regulator?

    • @maxyourjourney
      @maxyourjourney  Год назад +2

      Yeah never made it that far into trouble shooting it, but that would be my next step as well. Can you please let me know if that solves it

    i think you need to adjust the air to gas ratio, ypur burner is a little loud, otherwise thanks for posting :)
