Coolant Leaking Into Cylinders Killed The Engine.

Pressure tested the cooling system to look for a coolant leak and when trying to start the engine afterwards, it was hydrolocked. A cracked head caused coolant to leak into the cylinders. During stripping the head off I found a serious amount of end float in the crank. This was caused by oil deterioration due to the coolant leak.

New engine came with all the bits ( injectors fuel pump ) that makes the job very easy then stripping everything 👍👍

MG ZS. Head cracked for some reason. It didn't overheat, just was loosing coolant.

Advice Please.. I have a 2016 mg mg3. Does a faulty alternator make turning steering wheel slightly heavier. I had a brand new battery and I definitely know the alternator not charge it correctly. Start from helping a stranded motorist as soon as I start to tow my mg3 just died so I quickly stopped. The mg3 just lost all power like everything shut down in a second. I appreciate any feedback. Thank you

Power steering is mechanical so no, the alternator wont afect it unless the belt is off or the engine is not running. If you lost everything and by that I mean the whole car, lights, wipers, dash, engine, the lot then check the earth strap on the front of the gearbox.
