Great question. Although the joystick cutout seems really close. As of yet no problems moving the joystick. But I can see it being a bit difficult for someone with wider fingers. Hope I answered and have a great day.
Sure. In the rear of the holder you will swivel down the magnetic base by sliding the locking level and once lowered you will see the large square quick release clip on the rear of the holder. Just pull on it and it will release the tight grip on the holder releasing it from the Pocket 3. Hope that helps.
This is great! It provides so many mounting options. You can even attach it to some backpack shoulder straps.
I've bought this thing and my favourite part is how much easier it is to hold with this mount , almost like a pop socket
It's a cool little mount, but I wish they made the bottom covered and with the 1/4-20 thread (like their other mount).

If mounted to a flat metal surface does the gap between the magnet and camera allow for full camera rotation?
Yes the camera lens and gimble can still rotate while on a flat surface with out obstruction.
