Wood Splitting Hack!

- This is a fast and easy way that works on all types of wood, and costs next to nothing. I obviously utilize many different methods for both felling trees and splitting wood. But showing one at a time seems to be the easiest to digest. You do NOT need to be built like me or be muscular to be good at splitting wood. That is from other endeavors of mine. BUT if you would also like to workout and eat like me...I have a masters degree in physiology and my app is very inexpensive. dose.fit is the website for my app. And if you are just here to enjoy youtube....I am very happy to have you as a subscriber.

@@ThorenBradley for real? Wow man! What about a video about functional training with unorthodox equipment, like axes, hammers, heavy ropes, logs, tires, etc. In the open, your thoughts about it, im really into explosive strenght training.
@@chernovolk5095 love it! I’ll see what I can start brainstorming on the topic!
Glad you see you finally tried this and Showed folks how to do it!!!
Love the glasses!😊
Awesome. 👍 love learning something new.
Really appears that would save time effort and keep the kindling contained.
God bless
Oh that’s awesome! I know what I’m making this weekend!!
Going for the Clark Kent look with the glasses?
No thoren says anytime you swing at something an there's metal involved you must..must wear eye protection
That's awesome, thank you
Nice little hack !
This is neet, I have usually done that by laying other large pieces against the sides
Or bye stopping just short of splitting it and proceeding
Good for logistic also, thanks
Great advice, thanks mate!
Mantap bro, saya suka semua video anda, saya dari Indonesia b🙏
Can you do a video explaining your technique?
Dude bro… can I ask what frames you have in this video? I’ve recently discovered I’m farsighted and needed glasses. Picked up my first pair and I’m not sold on the look as much now after owning them.
Nice hack btw. I’ll definitely incorporate this in my life.
Does wood need to be dry/seasoned before you can chop it? I also read you can chop green wood pretty easily as well.
I was attempting to chop some recently and I know it’s not seasoned at all but it’s not green either. Guess somewhere in between but it’s not easy. Or maybe you just make it all look too easy 😂
1:25 me explaing how chains and whips excite me.
Hey Thor ! Will u do videos with chaisaw ?? like STIHL or any other
Lol I've seen guys use a tire before but I like your way better it seems faster and easier. Love that ax too. How much does it weigh?
The tire only works if you have all of the perfect sized wood for the tire. Kind of a pain! But I’ll do some axe reviews soon my man!
Yeah that's why I like your method better it works for bigger chuncks of log lol
I look forward to more videos
@@CountryLife8286 heck yeah! And you can fit that thing in a bag or backpack

What is your favorite axe for the really big logs?
Newest video should help with that!
The Fiskars 8 lb splitting maul is NOTHING like the Collins or Truper...or any other Maul. It DOES have a synthetic handle yes but the handle is nothing like the other brands.
I've used two others, Collins and Truper and Fiskars is in a League of it's own.
First off, like you said, break it they will replace it.
Second, with the vibration dampening handle, it feels so much better and less tiring. Third, it just plain
Works better, possibly due to the different design of the head; it is like no other Maul head in existence and if you try one, I am pretty sure that you will finally have found your favorite Weapon of Wood Splitting Mass Destruction!!!
$69.00 bucks online.
You can buy three of them for one of those Helkos you hate so much. If you break it, you have a back up reading l ready to go.
Break it, the it to where you bought it and get a new one...or just email a pic to Fiskars. At least that's what I did for my geared lopper my son broke.
Hello Thoren, I txt so many times, inquiring about the best Axe we can use to cut the big wood and what is the best one and where we can order it? Spicially the one u are using in this video... If u don't mind I can get the name of the axe u have Please tnx
Good axe..........model and price.....Respect.
Please im really looking for the model and how I order it? Can u help me in that please?
He says in his new video that he hates it bc it breaks about every time he uses it. He had no favorite. I'm trying to change THAT!!!

"I'm not the strongest guy in the world"
Yea okay THOR🙄
You are so proportional. You appear solid instead of puffy. You're a white marble type Michelangelo physique. I think you took it sooo close to the line past where it turns into an anamorphic unnatural appearance. Are you aware that most people you see will be frightened by you. Only 2% of the population is dense like you and handsome. Your videos are comforting. Thank you. I'm a little frightened by you too.
🥵
One thing you might try tinkering with is rotating the head slightly (5-10 deg) off of vertical. When it strikes the face of the log it rotates a bit because the center of mass isn't directly above the point of impact. I found this helps apply a prying action to the log as well as reduce the amount of sticking. (The effect is greatest for narrower axe heads vs wider splitting/maul heads)
Not gonna lie this sounds like a very bad tip
Are you not on TikTok anymore?
Bro he posts so frequently on there

What made you say that? I am on there too.
Says hes not the strongest guy in the world, the last video i watched he picks up and splits a 4ftx4ft log
Was thinking the same thing
Is it true that your 5'9" I was guessing 6'3"-6'5" everything says 5'9" but I still don't believe it so now I have to ask.
No. I am 6’ tall. 😊 on the button
@@ThorenBradley nice I knew I couldn't believe the internet lol
Have you ever tried to split wood in a tire? :)
I love it!
I lay down a piece of greenwood like siding and then I put railroad ties on that this keeps the impact on the would not going into the ground and if I miss I don't hit the ground I don't hit a rock or anyting. The tire keeps wood up just like his chain deal does.
chain and bungee cord works great too. I'm fact, I'm going to get a set up, bc lot easier to carry the chain and bungee cord around and they would fit multiple sizes of rounds.
I got a real big one had to go down in the woods and bring a big 22 inch tire up.
I rolled the part of the way but it was Heavy to carry a up a steep hill where I couldn't roll it!!!
Also with the tire one time I started into one and I spend it out it was all jammed in the tire... Took me a looong time to get it out!!
I've talked myself out of the tires now. I'm ready to change my ways!!!
Handsome and sexy. Brilliant and informative instructional video. Could not turn away. Captivated by the awesome. 🤩🎯🤩✨🕊✨

no show me you picking that up by yourself let me see the video
