I love the tire. As for the cords, I make two loops that way, I can pick up the entire bundle and carry it to the log pile. Then, I untie them. Great video, thanks!

The bungee cord can be helpful when you want to transport the wood somewhere, and you have it all bunched together.
Also, I am kind of jealous of how smoothly it went, whenever I chop wood there are always knots that I have to deal with.

its wierd to say, but this guy is my hero. he is a simple guy like many other. He show us if he could do it, many others can also.
I use a bungee cord. It's flexible but it keeps the spilt wood in place. I've been using that method for many years. I find it's the best method for bigger logs.

I used to chop wood in the winter when it's well below zero. Even large oak logs split easily when they are frozen. Also the humidity is almost zero so they season much faster too.
You should get a few lessons on how to hold and use your axe,get rid of your rubber boots or you'll be picking up your toes😉👍☘

just had 8 cords of 8’ length maple delivered to the north/east cost of canada and have been 5 days without electricity or gasoline - i’ll be purchasing a 8lb splitting maul for my she shed once I can gather enough fuel for my skidoo, to make it into the hardware/Grocery store once the power is back on!!! I really liked the bungy cord because if you get like 2 of them and put it on then you split them all then pick up the split wood and put it in the pile and unstrap them and you just made splitting wood easier
