    Honestly I can't believe how easy that looks thanks to the chain hack! The wood literally split itself!!! I don't exercise ever, but for sure I could blow through a few trees with this "secret weapon" under my sleeve. Thank you so much!

    I use the same thing when I split wood. Question for you. Why do you start your split in the middle like that? Why not chunk out the side and work your way around then split the middle? I'm just curious.

    I would prefer an open oval hook instead of a butcher's S hook for safety reasons but the chance of cutting the chain is nearly 0% either way.

      Fiskars X27

    • @seanbrnt
      @seanbrnt Год назад

      Agreed on the X27 if you want an axe strictly for splitting. If you are looking for a felling axe or something that can do a bit of both, it might be worth checking out some of Fiskars chopping axes with the 3.8lb heads. You'll have to swing a bit harder to get through bigger rounds, but you'll probably be a lot happier when you go to do chopping.
      Also if you want something a bit higher end with a wooden handle (some folks are particular) then Council Tool is hard to beat imo.

    I bet you’d be less taxed and generate even more power, if you exhale through your swing. Everytime you hold your breathe like that, you’re elevating the CO2 in your blood, spiking your systolic blood pressure, and reducing blood flow to your brain.
    Time your breathing properly if you wanna keep chopping well into your golden years, friend. 🍻 🪓 🪵 #keepchopping
