hahahahahaha
I love people who make life so much more easier like taras
Ok, I’ve been splitting wood for a long time but this is the first I’ve seen this. Pretty amazed no...and safer!
Wish I'd seen this about three years ago...cut top of my thumb off holding the wood. Great video
I did the same to my index finger 2 weeks ago!!! Lesson learnt!
Just cut a section of my palm open it will heal but lesson learned
Ouch
I didn't even know I've been splitting kindling with a hatchet at all!
Boom kindlelified!
It’s been four years mate, get with the program.
I’ve never seen it done this way, it looks like you have more control of where it splits and it’s much safer if you’re far from any medical assistance.
Thank you! I own a hatchet and have been doing the top-down technique with freestanding wood pieces but this way is so much better! 👍

You are brilliant, dude! Very gifted in the use of your hands. Thanks for sharing!
Crazy Russian hatchet.
Another great video by the “crazy Russian hacker“. Love to hear that classic “boom“! Thanks brother.
I've been splitting kindling from the side for a long time, but usually just whack it. Easier to miss sometimes, and the kindling tends to fly all over the place. This method looks a lot better. Aim first, then boom.
Always got to Watch a Video from Taras before bed
I'm just starting BC, went out and tried it, pumping out them kindling from the first try!
Thank you brother 💪
Taras, Enjoyed the video but I thought I wouldn't have a use for this technique. Today I was making carrot strips and tried it on the carrot. Works great!!!
*No one will do this but will still watch the whole video*
H̵̜̕ā̵̱c̵̩͛ķ̸̛e̸̖͛r̵̡̿ *Yeah* *you* *are* *right*

what gloves do you have on?
Thank you my friend another great video I have been splitting it the down way all my life and have been very close to injury your way is simple but safe thank you from n Ireland 🙏
Looks awesome. I'm gonna try. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you for your helpful advice.
You can do the same by just offering the axe head to the raw end of the log and gently tap the log and axe together downwards.
Great video keep up the good work
taras there is another way, u put the hatchet to the top of log and hold both and hit the log in the wood but just a bit so the hachet is stuck and then u can just swing it (it gives more accuracy f size)
Awesome tip, thank you!
Awesome splitting some wood for the first time today and all I have is a hatchet thanks for your advice
Worked perfectly! Thank you for the tip!
