1. Listen more than talking. 2. Ask good questions, be curious about the customer. 3. Confidence, quiet confidence, in yourself, product, company. Confidence comes from competence, when you are good your confidence level goes up. 4. Super friendly, people skills. People do business with people they know, like, and trust. 5. Follow up 6. Relentless, never stop. No does not mean No it means no yet. No is temporally. Every no brings me closer to a yes

So glad we could help Tyler! If you're going for an interview tomorrow, make sure to watch this video on how to land a job in sales ;) ruclips.net/video/ys5OrzpHxTM/видео.html Best of luck with your interview!
Did you get the job? If so, how's it going? Sales is the one of the best jobs you can have... Especially if you can make a base + commission and bonuses, sky is the limit.
Thanks Thank Hai! Being able to speak well and deliver a highly engaging presentation is also a great skill to have when you're in sales, that's for sure. Here's a video we did with Spencer Waldron that you may like to take some tips from if interested: ruclips.net/video/LGoId3zPOZM/видео.html
One of the biggest problems in sales is people are artificially creating enthusiasm and they really have no interest in the products or services they are selling. There are mainly just looking to make money off more commission. It is mainly about a way of manipulating people into buying stuff that they really don't have interest in.
Totally agree! The first person salespeople need to “sell to” is themselves. If they genuinely believe in their company and their products, they’ll come across as more authentic with customers.
Exactly! At my shop, I tried a lot of products and researched to be able to better understand what people want. They always tell me they appreciate me being genuine, and they prefer that over "created enthusiasm" any day.
Good sales is about balancing steering your customer into decisions that you know are in their interest, while maintaining honesty and transparency, and providing excellent service. I believe that sales is almost as much about delivering good service, as it is about using what you know to help customers make the best ownership decisions. In fact the act of selling itself is really a service, and if you don't see it that way, I think you're probably a bad or dishonest salesperson.
Love that A B! You're bang on. I have a feeling you'll like this video that just came out about how sales reps can use service to differentiate. Let me know what you think ruclips.net/video/NSi5thAfI_M/видео.html
Good but being relentless at times by following up with the same client after hearing a no might lead to blocking your phone number and your company for being a nuisance. Cheers 😊
You're absolutely right! Persistence is key, but balance is essential too. Finding the right timing and approach for follow-ups will ensure a positive customer experience. Thanks for highlighting this important aspect! Cheers! 😊👍
Hey there, At first thank you so much for you valuable content. But i have a problem. I am a service seller. @@SOCOSalesTraining Thanks for the video BTW. I've been doing this why WHOLE working life. Never did many jobs other than sales. And I am STILL learning things. I had a bad week last week(which would've been a great week 2 years ago lol) And this helped alot. 16 years in sales and I'm still having off weeks and re evaluating my pitch, sheesh!
Pls help me solve this problem Am a sales person for a susu hire purchase company My target is to get 20 new customers and each susu balance should be less than 50cedis in every month So am asking ...If am able to meet this target....should I still give out customers within the same month or I should prepare customers for the next month.
Great question! Do you sell more this month and earn more commission or do you fill your pipeline for next month? When in doubt, I would focus on what's best for your customer. What feels like the right thing to do?
I avoid shops when I go in there (as an expert in my craft), and theyre telling 'no you don't need to buy that, you need something else'. Its like HU? Youre literally turning down a sale and you have no idea who I am, that I know exactly why i need to buy the item. I guess they get more rookies and they have to sell them amateur items, so they assume im one of those. Anyways it makes me feel very insulted and I try to source it somewhere else.
You're right, that kind of experience is super frustrating! Good salespeople should listen and respect your expertise, not try to steer you away from what you know you need. It's a shame when they make assumptions instead of asking questions to understand your situation. We always tell the salespeople we train to listen first and tailor their approach to each customer. After all, the goal should be to make your buying experience better, not worse. Hope you've got to experience more of the good ones than the bad ones.
I am really influenced by your video but if you have to drop a reason for not getting the subscriber then what it will be . Actually i am curious about why viewers not subscribe this quality videos

Super agreed! They’re just looking for a salary! They have zero interest in the job so long as it’s a job that pays!

You forgot about "Belief in the product you're selling" You have to believe that what you're selling is valuable.
You're absolutely right Mathias! If you don't believe in what you sell, it will be hard to convey how great your product is.
