    The BB GMT is an excellent watch. Buying a Tudor gets you 95% of the watch buying a Rolex would at 1/4th of the price. No brainer.

    Just as durable, just as accurate, more affordable, low burglary target, as much of a compliment getter, will last forever, family legacy gift 🎁 piece. 👍 awesome video, thanks for the information.

    I actually have the same issue with brand perception of Rolex.
    Also now that people are figuring out how to customize 5-link on a Tudor GMT, I’m more inclined for this watch

    The 48 click bezel also lets you adjust to time zones of 30min increments, like India, for instance

    Great video! I own both the tudor GMT & the BLRO. Both great watches, I find i wear the tudor 90% of the time and if it gets banged up I don't care.

      Nothing wrong with a high end GMT and a discount GMT to take some of the damage. I do the same with my Rolex Explorer II sometimes.

    The point about using the bezel for timing is a good one! Also, I think that bi-directional timing makes more sense for everyday use vs the uni-directional bezels.

    The Tudor GMT is an outstanding watch. It dresses up or down. Quality is significantly higher than my 2006 Sub.
    Pair the Tudor with an IWC Mark XVIII and you have a great pair for all occasions.

    Hey dude! I liked your video. But I do have to say you mention a lot of numbers. When you bombard the audience with numbers, it can be overwhelming. Maybe it would help if you put the numbers in bullet point on screen or something. I really like the Tudor watches on the Uncle Seiko bracelets!

    Cool review but let’s be honest here. There’s no way Tudor would be known without Rolex. To compare them and actually think the Tudor is better than the Rolex is a foolish statement. Tudor is a great watch for its features, price and association with Rolex.

      I own both & prefer the Tudors. Rolex feel a bit soulless once you’ve had them for a few years. I prefer my black bays over my green dial submariner too. Tudor today are doing what Rolex used to do.

    I got both. The quality of steel is much better with the Rolex, and I do like the ceramic bezel more. Rolex GMT is also slimmer which fits better in business shirt sleeves. Nevertheless, the Tudor GMT is now my "beater watch", great value and you got so much with such a reasonable price.

  • @supersonique001

    Excellent. You are 1st blogger to have mentioned the awkward 24 clicks of the newest rolex gmt's which eliminate the timing advantage of a 60 clicks bezel which the old pre-ceramic gmt's used to have ! this is one reason I have always preferred the submariner no date as the best overall sport watch available rather than a GMT. 48 clicks is slightly better but the thickness of the Tudor is a turn off .

    • @burbinghard
      @burbinghard  2 года назад +1

      Completely agree with you. My no-date submariner would probably be my one and done if I had to sell every other piece in the collection. All time greatest design.

    • @burbinghard
      @burbinghard  Год назад

      @@MarkDanger777 don’t get me wrong. I think the ideal tool watch would have a 4th GMT hand and a timing bezel in a compact size.

  • @JohnUSA7

    Please help and put both the Tudor GMT next to a Rolex GMT, both watches shown from the side, so we can see the difference in their thickness.
    Most Tudor GMT owners complain is that it is too thick.
    The Rolex GMT is 12mm thick, while the Tudor GMT is 14.6mm. So the Tudor GMT is 2.6mm thicker than a Rolex GMT.
    Thanks.
    Update:
    Just found what I was looking for here at the 6 minute mark:
    ruclips.net/video/Yw8F14Vz0zk/видео.html
    The Tudor is much thicker, and I wonder how uncomfortable it maybe for its wearers?

  • @gregschulte2953

    The Tudor is an excellent watch, however it is no GMT 2. There is a reason for the price disparity (retail). The GMT 2 is just better in every way. From materials, movement, resale etc....I would buy the GMT 2 over the Tudor if it could be had at retail. I would also buy the Tudor for travel and enjoy it very much.

    "The Rolex is the original true GMT wrist watch?" 1953 Glycine airman beat Rolex by a year. Just saying. Dirty nasty flippers, right on. Love my Tudor GMT. All great watches but the Rolex AD vs flippers problem seems fixed to me.

  • @jonathanberndt5422

    Good comparison: Did you mention the Rolex steel 904L costs 2x as much to manufacture than 316L? 316L can be purchased with watches for $350. U.S. Most reviewers fail to mention this.
