@micolsen9824 Yeah, that's possible. Apparently, there were several people who were angry enough with him to do something that petty in an attempt to disrupt his progress. It also simply could have been that the audio tech screwed up that day. 😆 🤷‍♂️

I love the fact that Fogerty basically invented swamp rock and he wasn’t even from the bayou, he grew up in California. I got to see him in concert a couple of years back and I had tears in my eyes by the end of the show he is one of my all time favorite artists most of my other favorites are dead I’m glad I had an opportunity to see a living legend.

I've been a CCR fan since I was a young college kid in the 1990s. (I get it, I'm young; save the "whippersnapper" comments.) I've always loved Fogerty's vocals, but it's only recently that I've begun to appreciate the real power of his voice. John just exudes an enormous amount of confidence and has the vocals of someone much older and wiser. I look back at myself at that age, and the contrast between Fogerty at that age and me at the same age is stark. I could listen to CCR all day for the rest of my life and never cease to be impressed. He's still rocking in his 70s and I'm grateful for it.

Oh man, the sound man was dogging through the entire song. For most of it he had the reverb jacked up way too high and everything right on the verge of feeding back and then suddenly at about 1:43 he drops the reverb out entirely, then at about 1:49 goes back to too much reverb. You can hear John give a slight chuckle at that point like he's wondering what the hell the guy's problem is but I'm not so sure he was really amused. Like you say though, he played it cool.

Walkin' along the river road at night
Barefoot girls dancin' in the moonlight
I can hear the bullfrog callin' me, oh
Wonder if my rope's still hangin' to the tree
Love to kick my feet way down the shallow water
Shoo fly, dragon fly, get back to your mother
Pick up a flat rock, skip it across Green River
    Well
Up at Cody's camp I spent my days, Lord
With flat car riders and cross-tie walkers

Wish it had a few more verses. Thank all of you for your service. Respect 🙏 🫡 i graduate in 75, so the war had ended. I remember watching the news at night with my family, and they would list the number of fallen soldiers and missing in action. So many young men died for what? Damn politicians.

Sounds even more psychedelic live! John Fogerty is one of my all time heroes. He's an all time great Rock star. And he did serve in our military!

This may have been the first album I ever bought. It's still my favorite Creedence song.
Funny on a planet with a planetary size population of people, for so many years. And, in a venue (music) where there's millions. There is only one. But, who else can touch CCR music?
Unfortunately, today even if there were something this special here, now. The politics of the music industrie & just politics, wouldn't let us know.
