As far as I can tell Fantasy Records was giving him the rights back starting way back in 2005, I´m pretty sure he has them all back by now but it´s hard to find anything up to date. He´s worth 80 Million as of 2020 so he´s doing well considering how bad the business and so called friends ripped him off. Peace. p.s. It was indeed very sad and Corporations like that are truly a wretched lot.

50 years ago, when I was in junior high in Southern CA, they would play movies at lunch time. You would see about 20-30 minutes of the movie each day from Monday thru Friday. Whoever the kid was who operated the projector played "Green River" EVERY day over the sound system as you waited for the movie to start. Those of us who met in the auditorium for this every day would laugh and look at each other and say, "Again?" Good thing it was a great song! And here I am, listening again. Loved your book John, what an amazing read.

On comes this tune "Green River" I was 14 years old. Now 47 years later and 61 years of age the sun is out and its hot. Listened to this and heading out for the first scoot of the year on the HD. Years back we had a motorcycle club house and the juke box played 5 for a quarter.Green river was our best selection.It played day and nite!👍👍

One of the best nights of my life was an all-nighter in Amsterdam in a bar listening to a band cover this song. The Moonhawks, whoever they were.
