Like if you think Motz is a national treasure
Does this mean we're actually getting more Burger Scholar Sessions?
This guy and his show give me the only motivation to visit the USA. That is what being a national treasure is all about.
Without a doubt 😅
Legend
George Motz is my spirit animal.
We need more NEW Burger Scholar. George has a wonderful passion for what he does, and it's a lot of fun to watch.
Yes definitely 👍
I thought for a second you were suggesting we needed a new burger scholar and I was extremely taken-back. No one can replace George Motz!
I love this series!!!
a good thing can take it's time. but yeah i agree hes awesome.
At least twice a week
George's laugh when he bites a burger is what everyone needs
I think it’s the sound of his heart trying to escape his chest
"Hahahoooohaaaoooshitawfuckitshotooooooh"
the burnt mouth giggle. live for it.
@@kingjoekur ironic you use live in the sentence
I think a collab with tasting history would be awesome. they just had an episode about ketchup, George's nemesis condiment. perhaps George can define the American burger and Max would go back and find the earliest food that fits that criteria
How funny! Literally getting ready to watch that one next! Love to see these two together!
I actually want Motz to do a Townsends video on ye old beef-based sandwiches (the hamburger wasn't invented until later)
@@pballfan that would also be very cool, but could they handle George being George? still be great to watch
@@aveleziii I thought about that and figured the Townsends would have to come do Burger Scholar as a guest and not the other way around
@@pballfan yeah, taking them out of their element by having them consult and guide George allows them to be people and not period
Super stoked to see a new video featuring George, super bummed that these are all re-hashes of burgers we've seen him do before. I hope he's doing well!
YOO HES BACK
edit: aw its just a compilation :(
More Burger Scholars is always appreciated nevertheless
Dang, content is starting to repeat itself. Great show. Hope a bunch of new burgers are invented to keep this guy in my feed!
this is a compilation vid actually. first we feast just cut up old vids and repackaged into this vid, hence the repeat
@@poif oh I didn't notice. Ya know cuz of my comment.
My heart thx u
@@liamgomez6995 didn‘t you notice that his beard changed throughout the whole video?
There are just so many burgers.... btw, you're not important ;)
I’d love nothing more than going on a nationwide tour with George and hitting each state’s 3 best burger spots.
That would be cool. I’d love to see a series where he travels the country eating hamburgers and talking bout hamburgers
Yay George Motz is back. Thank you for the content guys. I’ll even take a wee compilation episode like this, any excuse to watch a bit more Motz.
Makes me so happy hearing Motz talk about the slug burger. We don’t have much good here in Mississippi; but that’s definitely one of our contributions.
The comment of " we don't have much good here in Mississippi " shows the bubble you live in. Mississippi has many great things, get out and explore. Food wise , delta tamales, Doe's eat place, many little shacks along the Great River Road, seafood shacks along the Gulf coast, litter Dooeys in Starksville.. etc etc You want a list of places to try hit me up.
I am always happy to see George Motz release a video. This was great, you never disappoint.
So glad that Motz is here, even as an echo of times past!
Occasionally Hot Ones is worth watching (Go Fluffy!), but I'm really here for Burger Scholar Sessions.
George Motz drinking game. Take a drink whenever one of these things happens:
• George burns his hand on something hot.
• George burns his mouth on a hot burger
• George chuckles to himself while eating because it tastes so good.
• George makes an innuendo.
• George laughs at said innuendo.
• George's glasses steam up.
We’d never survive
I’d be dead by 3 minutes
I love how you love every burger. They are all different but you love them all for what they are.
I'm so glad to be alive during a time I can watch you. Awesome show. And good luck on your endeavors.
Love Burger Scholar Sessions! There are very few vids that I will "like" almost before watching - these always are! Cheers from BC Canada!
George is back!!! I'm so stoked to be taught by a true burger scholar
Yes finally my favorite culinary show returns!!!! Motz is the MOST!
George motz ,you good sir are a national treasure!!! Just found your channel last week while eating local burgers in my state of Califorrnia, and searching for burger guy’s critiquing burgers ! You popped up first ! You have Earned a you tube subscription from me from the content you have produced!
Even though this is a compilation we need more Motz!!!
Can't ever get enough of this show.
I love this show and hope it never goes away!
I've made all these burgers thanks to you over the years! Thank you!
A good buddy of mine recommended we try Dyer burger when we were in Memphis 3yrs ago! Such an incredibly great burger! So simple and so perfect!!!!!! The 32oz beers weren't too shabby either!!! You are the Man George!!! Thanks for all the great burger videos!
I appreciate the simplicity of the butter burger not complicated to me at all and I love that. sometimes you don't need to go big for some burgers
George Motz really is a national treasure.
Legitimately curious if there ever was a burger George Motz didn't like 😂
One with ketchup on it.
tariq’s brioche bun burger definitely wasn’t a favorite of george’s
I love George! Thank you for your knowledge of burgers!
Wow!!! I only just received my copy of George's book (the great American burger book) yesterday, then this video dropped!!!! I must be psychic!!! This weekend is all about firing up the flat top, watching George do his thing while following along with the book!!!! Can't wait 🤗🤤🤤
Great having you back, Professor!
I used to think no one enjoyed a burger more than me, but George's ecstatic joyful noises tell me I'm wrong. Love his videos!
Woo!! It has felt like a decade since we had a Burger Scholar episode. Good to see him back!!
Thanks for representing Wisconsin's butter burger. It is truly awesome.
Will there be a next season of burger scholar? Love the show.
George!!! Yes!!! Thank you for your content!
Motzy, your love of burgs is infectious! keep it up!
Finally was able to make the goober burger tonight, and it was everything I hoped and more. Loved it!
I think the oddest burger I had while delicious was a apple butter burger with raspberry jam. Sounds odd but the savory meat overly sweet jam and creamy apple butter was definitely a treat tbh
I love peanut butter on burgers (it's basically savory icing at that point) and made a PB&J burger that tasted exactly like what you are describing. You have to find a jam that is only moderately sweet or a preserve with moderately sweet fruit to get it to work right but it's amazing when you do.
Great to see the newest episode of my favourite show in the world!!!
This is the most awesome show on this channel no matter what the hot wings fans will tell you. We desperately need more episodes!!!
I've been craving this show way to long since a video was put out
WooooHoooo the king of burgers is back Let's gooo!! Lots of love from Michigan ❤️
Recycled video content though unfortunately
@@MrJACarroll I realized that too after I wrote that
love this series
I make the oklahoma fried onion burger all the time, although it isnt needed I add a few extra toppings onto mine. Fresh chopped habeneros under the cheese since I like my food spicy, burger sauce (mustard, ketchup, mayo mix) and pickles.
Yeah I add burger sauce to mine too. I've also used pickled jalapenos in lieu of normal pickles before too and it's yummy
Always great when a George Motz video appears.
Interesting to see different options. Not going to do most of them, but I learned to love peanut butter on my burgers at a place that had one named the Hot Nuts Burger. Always nice to see more peanut butter burger love!
thank you for sharing your knowledge and motivation! THANKS!
Motz is the man. Absolutely hilarious and have made 6 or 7 of these burgers. The last one shown here is my new personal favorite. The Oklahoma onion burger is the new king. It is true that it's sum is greater than its parts. Magic happens when making this burger
My grandmother used to make the onion burger but we're not okies. She learned from her mother to make that burger and that was some 80 years ago
I’m a MASSIVE burger fanatic. I’m definitely trying out these spots before the summer ends 🍔
Best fast food chain that does butter burgers is Culver’s, enjoy!
Best slug burgers imo was Willie weeks in Booneville, Mississippi unfortunately he passed away. But the one that comes close to me is johnnys drive in in tupelo, Mississippi
@@minimeast i was about to say Johnnys drive-in in Tupelo, or Bill's Hamburgers in Amory
@@brett1483 yeah I've only eaten there once so I can't give a real good opinion on it and the white trolly in Corinth, Mississippi is pretty good also but I do like Johnny's slug burgers also the fella making the burgers in the video forgot the onions lol
@@inighthammer Culver's imo is one of the best fast food chains
never had a butter burger with that much butter though as in the video
I love how midway through the video you just fully embrace the Isaac Asimov look. Timeless and elegant.
ITS BEEN TOO LONG...GOOD TO SEE YOUR BACK! :)
Yes we need more Motz!!!!!!!!!!!!
Motz always makes me smile 😊
Love me a good butter burger. Wouldn't be Wisconsin without dairy being used in almost everything. Thanks for a great video again.
The only reason I think Wisconsin didn't come up with the Jucy Lucy first was because you can only fit so much cheese inside a patty but you can put limitless amounts On and/or Under the patty.
I've never dipped a burger in excess butter or had that much butter on my butter burger
but butter burgers go great with mayo
GEORGE 😍😍😍😍 I will always be here when George Motz is here
Nice! Digging the beard Motz! Smashed some burgs myself last sunday. So good!
Love your show!!! Great ideas!
Recently treated my family to an honest to god fluff screamer. Delicious. Wife did not approve, Joe Bishop certainly would have. Thank you for the recipe George.
Good to see you again, We All Love you and NEED more ❤❤❤
Love the onion smashburger. But that butter burger looks spectacular. In for a dime, in for a dollar. Yeah!
Local Wisconsin boy here! Major respect for the Butterburger being represented, ESPECIALLY when mentioning Sollie's!
Love you, Motz!!
As a Memphian, I love seeing Dyers being named. There's nothing like a walking to a Grizzlies game after a Dyers burger!
Thabk you so much for the nummy looking burgers and making me laugh. So much fun! Have a wonderful afternopn!
when ever i see Georges face my day gets better
Been waiting on George for a while now, I hope this means NEW CONTENT is coming SOON.
We need more Burger Scholar episodes!!
WE NEED MORE BURGER SCHOLAR!!
We need more episodes of the show please I love you show as American history about the burgers
Moar Motz! Not only is he a national treasure, but he is a link for other to learn and understand the history of the American burger.
Fantastic as always. George is entertaining. And who doesn't love burgers?
George, how I've missed you. Thank you to you and First We Feast!!!!!!! xoxo
This is the man with the best job in the world
Give us more George. We need more content from him please. 🙏
the first time i had peanut butter on a burger it also had sweet jalapeño relish on it. honestly it tasted like a cheeseburger and a pb&j had a baby and it was way better than i expected
about time you guys brought Motz back!!!
I wanna know what the weirdest or oddest burgers are. That would be a great episode.
I need a consistent show with George like what Alvin has
What are you talking about? Burger Scholar Sessions has been just as consistent as Alvin's show.
Just made that burger belt. I am never making a burger any other way again it was amazing
I love this guy.
I was hesitant about peanut butter on a burger until I subscribed to this channel, it's so delicious.
welcome back, ive been waiting for the return of the king
more of this please!
Love ya all. Really dig your vids
happy to see the Motz Man again!!!
Thank you Motzzzz
Oklahoma onion burger is by far my favorite. Doing that with lacy edge patties is how I make my burgers most of the time
Great to revisit them George 👍
Thank you very Motz.
I currently live down the street from Dyer's, and I must confess: without a shadow of a doubt, they serve the best burgers that have ever graced my presence. 😂
George is my spirit animal.
Yes!!!
I want to see George try modern hamburgers from large chain restaurants
Ack! Why torture the guy?
I traveled to Oklahoma for work but I was only there for the hamburger I love the fried onion burger. Thank you Burger Scholar
He's back!! My favorite FWF series
Love the show man! How do you clean your griddle?
I'm a huge goober burger fan. Everyone things I'm strange when I roll up to the grill with a jar of peanut butter in hand, but I'm the one eating it. They all can pound sand.
I got the opportunity to try the fried onion burger in Oklahoma when I was stationed at Fort Riley. Good stuff. I didn't know how to replicate it until I saw George's video on it a while back. Now it's in the rotation.
Have you tried mashing up the two? Not the best combo but there are definitely worse ones out there.
@@TheGentleGiant7 I haven't, yet.
Love the smashed burger ,but I'm going to try the peanut butter one and the one with the butter. 😋
Shout out from Oklahoma. I appreciate your respect.👍👍
