In this video we'll take a look at how to fix the Automatic Repair issue when you boot up your Windows 10 computer. This can be caused for a number of reasons like I've discussed in my previous video on this. If you encounter this issue then this can happen for a number of reasons. It could be because of a loss of power to your computer, system update, new hardware, system file corruption, or even driver issues. There are many reasons why this error message could appear and in this video you'll see a number of fixes to help resolve this.

@@karizma_ofcl8914 1:59 is what im talking about specifically, my issue was with the norton security thingy pre installed on my labtop which i uninstalled after I restarted my labtop w the fix. You shouldn't need your keyboard, just your mouse should be fine.

This problem occured to me after I factory reset but kept files because my touchpad was acting up, then i tried to system restore since the problem still did not fix and then after the system restore when the laptop shut down it infinte booted like this and is still doing this how do I fix it?

I never get to the numbered settings in startup settings. It just goes straight to restart.
When I click the restart in startup settings it wont go to the F1 to F9 option. It will just restart from the start.

I was having this problem, at the diagnosing pc on startup, I continually hit F11 to get into the Windows Troubleshooter screen. On the uninstall, I uninstalled both options, and restarted and booted into Windows. At least I can get back into Windows, but it runs SLOW and many programs that are a part of Windows don't work and give errors now, like Windows Media Player, although WMP not a big deal since I have VLC. When I try SFC /scannow it fails at 10%, also tried the DISM commands and they fail around 57%, says contains ill formatted data.
Thanks for these videos, they're very clear and concise, and even someone with no computer knowledge can follow them. My boot loop problem was caused by 2 Windows 10 updates, KB5003173 Cumulative update for 20H2, and KB4023057 Update for 21H1, removing both of those got rid of boot loop and I was able to at least login to Windows, but there are still a lot of problems.

@@techbern9775 Yes, it fails from Windows and from the USB stick.
Does a chkdsk fail? Usually the command "chkdsk /f /r c:"
@@techbern9775 No chkdsk runs just fine, and doesn't find any errors.
@@techbern9775 I fixed the problem, by doing an in place install from the ISO. Reinstalled Windows while keeping all my settings, files, and apps.
How do you get to Advanced options from the black screen .
I cant get to the repair screen, it says preparing automatic repair and then it restarts

In the process of doing another video to help with the boot loop problem.
I tried uninstalling the latest windows update but it said that I could not because the update was still pending. This all started because when powering down my pc I did update and shut down
Edit: I fixed it by uninstalling a feature update instead of a quality update.

I'm really glad there was a part 2. Sadly, it still didn't help.
I couldn't uninsall updates or and disabling the early malware didn't help. Couldn't successfully launch with Safe Mode to attempt the other tasks.

Why when I startup setting I my laptop still gives me a blue screen

@TechBern the issue is that the admin acct can not be located so any of the options to fix are not available. It remains in the boot loop. It will not allow even a reset since the admin can not be located. Do you have solution for this?

3:58 this one worked for me but i changed steps i pressed 5 and not 4. I finaly was able to the safe mode after hours of trying everything on the internet. the reset will depend on you, all i had to do is uninstall the last app i downloaded (the virus that caused all of this) then i did the scannow command and restarted. works fine since then

@@Thinkpanda404 Ye, try going reset this pc andd click keep my files, GAMES will be deleted but some files will save. If that doesn't work just try to do the cmd thing until the reset button worked, because it somehow worked after trying it a few times.
