I've had to do System Restore before on my old PC about 3 or so times and I never remember the steps.
A few months ago I got a new one and it's been working fine till today.
I just assumed it was another System Restore thing and came to this.
I had no idea anything connected via USB or otherwise could interfere. I tried taking out the wireless mouse I had hooked up, restarting and it's perfectly fine now.

i got a strange one. its a new seagate 8TB ive stored games on it, it doesnt give me no trouble while pc is on it works fine, however when i shut my pc down and start up the pc again it wants to do a automatic repair on that storage drive, why it doing that?
After the last option where I deleted the data I’m now seeing a reboot and select proper boot device or insert boot media in selected boot device unfortunately I’m unable to figure that out

I unplugged the mouse and keyboard and realised I have no way to restart
Look for the largest button on the front and press it to turn it on 🙄, but keep the keyboard and dump the rest

Hi Alex, if that is the case, it is probably best to reinstall Windows 10 from a USB flash drive. See the last step in this video.

The last method worked, for those who are wondering all you do is plug in the USB, then spam F12, after that you will need to press setup boot or something like that DO NOT PRESS THE ONE SAYING WINDOWS 10

well i've tried everything. i do believe re-setting it could probably work. i've actually tried it quite a few times already but, after completing it and showing messages like 'undoing changes', it shows an error message which says
"there was a problem resetting your pc. no changes were made."

Thanks for this, I did it with the Bootable drive cause nothing else is working anymore and I needed my files. The problem is all files I had on my desktop got wiped but not the ones on my documents, downloads, pictures, etc. Anybody know any fix to possibly recover my files?
Hi, after you have reinstalled Windows. Please go to the windows.old folder. Your old files may be there.

None of these worked so I took the USB drive I used to install windows 10 on my pc and restarted my pc with it. So far my pc has been working fine and hasn’t gone back into the repair loop. Possible fix
