Ah windows, such a lovely time when I want to do a simple quick reset of my PC and it turns into 3 hours of fixes not working forcing me to completely wipe all my data Thank you windows
Since windows 3.1 there's far too many files that are dependant etc enterprise type OS so it's best to wipe and clean install and this time partition the main drive and also back up the system once you have all the programs installed < purchase a USB stick 3.0 to copy backup to and forever be OK or forget all of that and just make a virtual machine all within a vhd file..

@@LylaD05 use recovery, put in another flash drive with lots of space, instead of loading up a backup file etc, use the file explorer to copy over files, note: in future don't save files to the user, save to another partition other than the main windows partition C drive usually so it's easier to copy files from, in repair mode user files maybe locked and permission's may not be available. I cannot believe it's mmxix and people still saving important files on computers they know may crash and fail.. external storage is cheap now.. I have a microsoft surface a real one not a laptop 😂 there's no obvious way to remove the hddrive so I have to know how to format and reset windows, clean install, I always save created files to my sd card.. Many people are worried about losing files they didn't create but downloaded, It's a silly thing to care about losing and in the first place that type of stuff should be downloaded straight to memory card and not to the C drive..

Guys dont listen to that shit video. I just fixed my pc by using dvd boot media of windows 10. I only used one method > chkdsk /f/r C: if not C: try D:. Hope it help.

Sudden hardware changes? No kidding. I tried updating some of my drivers and i suddenly got this problem. If anything major tries to update, my pc decides to give me the blind treatment.

many videos like this doesn't fix mine and found out the easiest solution 😅, JUST PRESS F11 for boot menu and choose the drive where your os installed and then boom! problem solved.

try this: Go to troubleshot-> then click on command prompt -> then type this chkdsk /f /r C: then enter after 30 to 2 hours when it complets the process type exit then enter reboot your pc and your problem should be solved

if you get all 000 but you get all the digit after th eregback in the final stage , i copied the registry . I am confused I did see all the number in the directory but there where all 000 on the right side if the sceen where you pointed to. sould I go back to the point where u say exit and try the fix from that point agin. 6:31 its showing in my comp that the system cannot find the file specified 0 files copied.. and theres no overwrite command that came after i entered a plss helpp
i tried everything but it doesnt work even reseting or going back to previous version . ehat should i do please anyone help me😢😨
try this:
Go to troubleshot-> then click on command prompt -> then type this
chkdsk /f /r C: then enter after 30 to 2 hours when it complets the process type exit then enter reboot your pc and your problem should be solved

Ended up working through Safe Mode, I believe Avast’s Boot Scan and Windows Update clashed during boot.
It doesn't take my windows password if i wanna start the commond prompt.. Windows is such a bs system its unreal

@@uglyhorseE Sorry if this is a late reply. I couldn't fix it no matter what I did and I seem to cause more problems the more I tried to fix it. I had to reformat the whole harddrive so I lost all my data and I didn't keep a backup.
@@3icepwn Yeah, I had to reinstall windows. I couldn't do it myself since I was having trouble finding my computers version. My data was lost as well, but my computer is fine now.

if you get all 000 but you get all the digit after th eregback in the final stage , i copied the registry . I am confused I did see all the number in the directory but there where all 000 on the right side if the sceen where you pointed to. sould I go back to the point where u say exit and try the fix from that point agin. Also, could it be possible thet the drive has been erased? Please advise.

There is a Part 2 video if Part 1 video doesn't work. Just go to the end of the video and Part 2 will automatically play. I tried it, and thought for sure solution 2 would work...still attempting... Aaaaaaack! I'm so exhausted!
