Does this work if you cant succesfully factory reset the computer and wont boot windows from usb iso and it goes back to blue screen. This happened at first by downloading amd 2700x update on my 2060 rtx omen 30l deskbtop.

For me 1st method worked....but it took 47mins&38sec in my pc
After I entered bootrec /rebuildbcd it found windows installation and offered me to add installation to boot list i entered Y but then it comes up with cannot create a file that already exists. Is it a problem?

Hey man, I was updating my OS with a hard drive and it disconnected while updating, I’m using the chkdsk method but I see the file system is exFat please what do I do?
I used the volume o and the computer said that there was no volume specified. It said to select a volume and try again. I'm not sure what to do now.

Stage 4 of check disk. My eta says 3 hours but it seems frozen, progress is 1226 of 126192. Sitting at 0 percent. Does this make sense? Restarted check disk stops at the same place. Let’s see. I tried skipping to boot repair and I’m getting a failure when attempting to copy boot files. I guess I’ll go back to check disk and see if it moves forward.

Bro I had just over 10 terabytes worth of ssds and I was just about to upgrade because I ran out of space😭. PC broke during a video game session, guess my friends will have to wait a day or two
@Michael Brumlow RIP. I love pc but it comes at a high cost cuz one tiny issue can brick the whole system. My system bricked when I switched my data from a hdd to and ssd cuz some files didn't transfer and had to wipe all my data. Was so mad.

This didn't work for me. I ended up shutting down my PC and taking out my recently purchased SSD (~one month old). I turned it on (without my SSD installed) and I hit F11 to go into the boot menu. I didn't change anything, so I simply exited the boot menu, and it just went back to the Automatic Repair screen, so I shut it down again. Still frustrated, I installed the SSD and booted it up. To my surprise Windows went through more updates and Windows magically started working again. I've got all my files, and everything seems to be working properly. I'm not sure why this worked but good luck to you!

I type chkdsk /f /r c: then i see 'the type of the filesystem is raw.
CHKDSK is not available for raw drives.

When I click the system restore they give me options an account pswrd
But the pswrd is not in my mind
And pswrd cannot be change also so what I do?

1:58 what if you do have a file but have absolutely no space on the drive where windows is installed on
bro when i do that chkdsk /f /r c: it tells me impossible to open the volume in a direct acces ... and i have a new ssd i named it JUST ssd with a single partition so when i searched some where about the name like C OR D i found that it called X so i did that chkdsk /f /r X: so it told me : the type of the systems folder is NTFS . impossible to unlock the lecteur mainly .windows cannot execute the disk verification in this volume because it is protected in ecriture .....

when i type chkdsk /f /r c: - it prompts the type of the file system is raw. Chkdsk is not available for RAW drives. - What to do?
I did it like the first but was not working.. so i tried it like the 2nd version. now my c drive is not there anymore.. only the z drive.. and i cant get into z drive. Help plzz

I can copy the files just fine, but then when I get to regback, the copy *.* Etc. just gives the system csnt find the file. Any pointers?
For going to command prompt -- it is showing-- you need to sign in as an administrator to continue but there are not any administrator accounts on this PC
last option said "the file cannot be copied onto itself"
I'm doing the diskport stage and I don't have any DVD rom all of them are partitions does that work too?

@Easy Classes I need help please! After I typed in „copy *.* backup“ it says my disk doesn’t have enough storage… . Before i experienced the black screen I always got the notification that disk C has low storage I tried to change the storage path to another ssd but it hasn’t worked, so I guess that is why it says there isn’t enough storage. What can I do now? I would be so thankful for a reply 🙏🏽

In rebuild boot rec - it comes with total identified windows installation problem 1 and asking for installation yeas or n... But after yes it comes with cannot create a file when that file already exists
