Cristiano is playing desperately. For someone so experienced is quite surprising. I can understand that this will probably be he's last dance but need to calm down. Ever since the tournament started he seems in despair for a goal. If something doesn't go he's way he start to scream at the ref or even he's own team mates. Impotence. And lots of it. Oblak terrorized Portugal so hard we forgot that Diogo was also next level. I can only guess the nerves finally hit Oblak at the shootout. Diogo's saves looked exactly like Oblak's crazy save at the extra time PK.
diogos saves were more due to him picking the right direction, as the pens he saved were in a relatively saveable area. oblaks save vs ronaldo was the best pen save of the game for me, fully stretched and just pushes it away with his fingers
