Question here: recently updated GPU drivers after some performance issues (I have radeon 5500xt GPU so I’m on AMD DRIVERS). I’ve been having this issue, but when I delete the display drivers I am not asked to restart. I restart anyway and wipe all my graphics drivers. When I try to re-install, the same problem happens all over again. I have tried 2 different versions of the drivers and this has happened both times. I’m almost positive it’s the graphics drivers but I don’t know why this is happening, any insight?
you need to do the DDU method, here's how to ruclips.net/video/SvIJhcxZTsA/видео.html and after doing that install the last gpu driver version that has no issue for your build (don't install the latest but install the version that works for you before). The problem with AMD gpu driver is that they always release experimental driver and letting users to test it rather than amd testing it themselves causing a lot of new pc users problems.
@@MacCoyzkie isn’t that the method of uninstalling in your video? After I do that, I have still had no luck with 5 different gpu drivers. While the new drivers are installing, the PC crashes. For clarity, when I uninstall the drivers and then re-start, my computer boots fine without any graphics card drivers and I can connect to the web. One I go to re-install though, the PC crashes during installation and goes back to the frozen boot screen. When I re-boot into safe mode, un-install, and restart, I get error pa-300 sometimes, which says the version of AMD software you gave launches is not compatible with your currently installed graphics driver.

@@nickcarp5732 it seems like you're not the only one experiencing this, i saw some forums regarding this issue and it seems like the problem is the driver for the 5500xt. I also don't see any solution but let's try this, load your bios to optimize default for the mean time or just clear cmos. Install the amd cleanup utility www.amd.com/en/support/kb/faq/gpu-601 then afterwards install the latest driver. If this does not still work i suggest try the gpu in other working pc and see if you still got the same issue. I literally cannot deal with this PC anymore. I factory reset it, booted it up. Worked fine. Restarted it. It’s stuck on booting. No menu’s no options. Nothing. Nothing works. I’m sitting here looking up every possible fix and literally nothing is working.
So, I’ve been having this issue. I sent my mobo in for an rma after taking my pc into two repair shops and them doing some testing. Yesterday I got it back, here’s where I am right now. After building everything again, I tried booting and got stuck on the Asus logo with a “Preparing Automatic Repair” message, but it always freezes here, it never completes the repair. Next, I went to Best Buy and bought a brand new Samsung 990 4tb ssd, removed the old one and tried using a usb with windows 10 & then one with windows 11 installer. Cleared the CMOS before trying each instal but I still could not boot. Now, I’m still stuck at the same Asus logo page, but the “Preparing Automatic Repair” message is gone, however the wheel still freezes when trying to boot into the flash drive. Pressed F8 to force boot into the flash drive and it just freezes again. Checked the BIOS, it’s trying to boot into the flash drive like it should and it can see my new M.2, but it still just keeps freezing. I tried removing the M.2 and just booting using the flash drive with windows installer and nothing, still just freezes on the Asus logo again. The only thing I can conclude after all my testing is that my old M.2 definitely has a corrupted install of windows on it after an update, but I have absolutely NO explanation as to why I’m having this issue with a brand new M.2 and even trying to just boot into a USB with no M.2 installed. I have stumped all PC repair shops in my area, made a bunch of ppl on discord help groups angry at the unbelievability of my issue and am ready to just completely upgrade my pc and get some therapy out of smashing all these components with a bat. I haven’t had a working PC in over a month and I miss coming home after work and gaming with my friends, but my issue really seems impossible to fix. My last hope is me trying a new CPU today after work, but if that doesn’t work, it’s upgrade time.
don't quit yet, the fact that you can still go to bios it means your pc is still fine. can you ask a friend to have your new m2 formatted in their pc, here's an idea how ruclips.net/user/shortspVxlHX323Ho after the format install it in your pc, remove all drives except for the new m2. you should see this on your display "reboot and select proper boot drive" this means your pc is ready to install windows. that is when you plug your windows usb installer and just press ctrl alt del to restart
@@MacCoyzkie so as of a few minutes ago I’m into my pc. It seems to have been a cpu problem? I went and bought a new cpu after my comment and after I just installed it, it started working again when paired with the new M.2 I bought yesterday
@@Quasar_MB hmm interesting, cpu rarely breaks first before the motherboard unless it was a bent pin. may i know what motherboard and cpu you have before you installed the new one?
@@MacCoyzkie I was using a 5800x with an x570 Asus Dark Hero. The motherboard was RMA'd after the pc repair shops told me it was most likely the issue. Since Asus did the RMA I assume an issue was also found with it (unless they always just replace). When I got the mobo back I installed everything again on the RMA'd board and had the same problem. Replaced the M.2 and that removed the "Preparing Automatic Repair" message, but I was still freezing in the same place, just minus the message. Replaced the CPU finally with a 5800x3D and it finally booted. I can confirm that the pins on my 5800x were ok. I did bend them a bit when I uninstalled everything to send my mobo in for the RMA because my CPU was cemented to my AIO and was hard to remove. But I took the CPU to my job after hours and used our microscope to make sure every pin was perfect again and spent like an hour just obsessing over it, making sure every pin was straight, so I highly doubt that was a problem. Unless I also damaged one of the pins when I bent them removing it from the AIO I don't think that was the issue.

I literally cannot deal with this PC anymore. I factory reset it, booted it up. Worked fine. Restarted it. It’s stuck on booting. No menu’s no options. Nothing. Nothing works. I’m sitting here looking up every possible fix and literally nothing is working.
i suggest have a fresh windows installation instead, assuming you have no important files in C drive.
My last hope is me trying a new CPU today after work, but if that doesn’t work, it’s upgrade time.
don't quit yet, the fact that you can still go to bios it means your pc is still fine. can you ask a friend to have your new m2 formatted in their pc, here's an idea how ruclips.net/user/shortspVxlHX323Ho
after the format install it in your pc, remove all drives except for the new m2. you should see this on your display "reboot and select proper boot drive" this means your pc is ready to install windows. that is when you plug your windows usb installer and just press ctrl alt del to restart
