Good info but one issue is that Microsoft turned off the auto registry backup. Starting from version 1803 nothing will get backed up unless you happened to turn this setting back on manually. Kind of sucks.
windows 10 is the worst OS, I ever seen. so many trouble like slow startup, HDD/SSD 100% usage very often, right click issue with some programs. Now I switch to linux for office OS. I use windows 10 just for gaming.
When automatic repair happens it goes to a screen that says choose keyboard layout and my mouse and keyboard no longer work on that screen so I cant select anything

For me i did start up options, restart, f4, after that when your computer opens shutdown and turn it back on and it was fixed :) you can try that if nothings working if did not delete my files and everything is back to normal

RM yes. As per my comment on the video. I was able to get it working after doing the command prompt repair and blowing any dust out of where the hard drive and ram stick got the power was also removed for like 5 minutes.

Did everything video said but Sata drive just can not Repair itself, Good Try thou and Learn some new commands. Good thing is I able to pull drive out and backup all the files using my hard drive Sabrent adapter . But now got to reinstall OS . Thank You still for the Video

@@karthikr1237 i never ended up fixing it, but i believe the issue is the harddrive or boot drive needed to be reformatted. might look into that, but as of now this thing is still a $1500 foot rest
@@mojommmm I got it fixed for like 15 bucks, took my laptop to asus service center and they downgraded windows to windows 10 from 11. Windows 10 is the best, no issues so far no blue screen errors

Thanks for the video, unfortunately this didn't work for me. After trying everything in yours and many others videos, nothing worked for me. I was able to fix my problem and get back into Windows 10. Doing all the scannow, DISM, diskpart, etc recommended in the videos to no avail, I restarted PC, with a USB made from Windows Media Creation Tool, after a bit of waiting it showed "Diagnosing PC," I continually hit F11 until it brought me into the troubleshooter, I went to advanced and UNinstalled the lastest updates (There were 2 different options) I uninstalled 1, then the other. I then restarted PC without the USB, just my normal Windows boot drive connected, it was a bit slow but it booted right back into Windows. The last 2 updates I did were the Cumulative 21H1 (KB5003637) and Quality of Life for 21H1 (KB5004476). Once those were removed I had no problems booting into Windows. Now that I'm able to get back into Windows, do you have any recommendations to help prevent this again, other than the obvious backup and creating a restore point?

@@lukadelic6521 i suggest you to connect your hard disk on an other pc, get your files and clean it to reinstall Windows. This is what i did. Or you can try to repair windows or even install a new one on the same hard disk

Thanks I got past the please wait screen finally for my pc. I opened my PC, replugged in my HDD/ SATA cables, removed the CMO battery and put it back in. After that I powered on the PC got into the command prompt and followed the instructions and got in

The computer has an all black screen that says, preparing automatic repair. But, it stays that way now for over 1/2 hour. F11 not working.

You can also hold the fn button and spam the windows button on start up to bypass the loop

(i kept it on for over 6 hours thinking it would eventually load but it didnt) also all the usb ports seem to not work as keyboard and mice does not respond. do i have a dead pc or is there anything i can do to fix it.

@@lukadelic6521 i suggest you to connect your hard disk on an other pc, get your files and clean it to reinstall Windows. This is what i did. Or you can try to repair windows or even install a new one on the same hard disk
