If you don't feel like doing a System Restore, take your PC in for repairs!

"Taking your PC in for repairs" lol nobody gonna spend money to get ripped off
If you do have this problem and it does not go to the safe mode options or whatever and it keeps loading and does nothing for 30 min then there is a fix that could work by going into bios and choosing boot options and there will be one option that has legacy + uefi and another which is just uefi. I chose uefi on its own and saved and rebooted. It took me to safe mode and from there do the command stuff the shows in this video. Shutdown then boot normally and it should work. If I didn't explain it correctly please let me know I will help.

Same problem. I can get to the "Preparing Automatic Repair" screen, then it switches to a black screen. Every tutorial I can find, this one included, shows it going straight to "Diagnosing your PC" right away. I think we have bigger problems. :[

he means the whole numbers I think. if they're 0 that means there is no backup because the folder is 0 bytes

If is says "preparing automatic system repair" and theres no loading circle unplug all usb devices and restart your computer. Hope it works for you

I still had the spinning dots on boot, but was able to fix it by going into safe mode and reinstalling my graphics card driver. Never again will I not back up to the cloud... *updates system backup image* -_-

Try going into your Windows home screen. Go to Start-Power icon- Hold Shift and click restart while holding it. Hope it helps :)

On that blue screen i clicked restart pc and it worked perfectly without the need of advanced options, thank you for the help.
When I go to do the Administrator command prompt and type in c: all I get is a repeat of the same command when I first opened up Administrator command prompt. If I type in c:\dir I get c:\dir is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file.
I can't get the startup repair and I can't get the safe mode the loading load a little then the windows icon removed and keep the loading and get the cursor But I can't do ANYTHING just moving the cursor

@@WenaxTV I was having a problem in the hard driver when it full the pc gets very slow like I waited for 8 hours then it opens and I deleted the files (that took my long time too cause the pc is very damn slow like I needed 2 hour) and made space then it's run normally

I tested you said about the battery and I just pull out the cable from the energy of my pc and it fixed it. Thanks mate didnt know that could fix this problem.
In many cases all you have to do is make sure all devices are unplugged including usb keyboard,/mouse,wifi,wireless keyboard dongles etc. Then turn on the machine.
At the very minimum you could unplug everything except a usb keyboard and you should get the login screen. Some driver on startup is usually the cause.
I had the black screen with white dots circling on startup and can't get command prompts, can't get safemode none of that.
All I did was unblug the wireless keyboard dongle and you could see the hard drive live start lighting up and it continued to boot.

You'll have to use system restore apparently. And if that doesnt work, youre sol and have to get it to the repair shop
