- Here is how to fix the infinite loading screen, black screen or infinite boot loop on your Windows computer. If your computer keeps restarting, has a blank or black screen before or after you logged into your account, or perhaps your computer is acting slow or nonresponsive, this tutorial should be able to offer assistance.
Your Windows 10 computer may stuck in a restart or boot loop. It boots to a certain loading screen, loads for some time and restarts to that screen again over and over. This issue can result from various causes, but in many cases it happens when your system has been updated.

1) Perform an Automatic Repair
Automatic Repair is a tool that can fix issues preventing your computer from booting normally. You can always use it to try fixing booting problems of your computer.
a) Boot your computer from your installation media, and wait until you see the Windows Setup screen. After choosing the language and region, click on Repair your computer at the bottom left.
b) Select Troubleshoot.
c) Select Startup Repair.
d) Select Windows 10.
e) Automatic Repair will begin immediately. Wait till the process completes.

THIS WORKED!!! I had NO IDEA that there was a way to initiate an Automatic Repair. I forced the PC to shut down twice, and was skeptical that the third time would do anything different, but the Automatic Repair process just started and after a while the PC was back to normal. I have 2 things I need answers from
1. When I typed in "copy *.* backup," instead of being able to proceed to the next command, it asks me Yes/No/All like after your type "copy *.* .."
2. I've done this 2-3 times before to fix my laptop with the command promt, However last Sunday, when I recieved the problem again... The command promt stopped working alongside other options.. I've done this 6 times with the command promt yet the computer kept going back to the "Preparing Automatic Repair screen"

Thank you! I no longer have the black screen issue. Though, I did lose my pictures and documents in the process, is there a way of retrieving them. If not, no big deal. Just glad to have my computer functioning again.

I get to a blue screen that says "Command Prompt" and wants me to choose an account to continue. It's at this point that I lose the cursor and can't use keyboard either. Same thing happens when I tried to use the startup repair. Up to this point I had access to a cursor.

My screen turns completely black while gaming or watching 4k videos on youtube, and i can't do anything anymore. All i did is idk i pressed like recovery on why there is an infinty loadig and it said attempting repairs i WAITED 5 HOURS AND NOTHING I WAS SO MAD THAT I uhh pressed the thingy back of the pc really fast i turned it off and turned it on in 0.1 sec and it somehow worked WORST 5 HOURS OF MY LIFE!

If you get the black screen with the mouse wait a couple if minutes before trying any of these methods it might just be a loading problem
I get black screen when i'm using pc , everything just disappears , i get black screen then everything comes back again , i keep getting ( when trying to open a folder ) not responding and then i get black screen for about 3 seconds then everything comes back again , any ideas what could be causing it ?

Maybe I'm just stupid but when I enter cammand prompt it's not like yours. I have a command there that I can't delete: "X:\Sources>" and if I write "windows\system 32> c:" and press enter it tells me "Access is denied".

Very little to be honest. Regular system maintenance, watching what you are installing, making regular backups of important files, ect. is the best thing you can do.

Try using the Windows 10 media creation tool and create a bootable USB/CD/DVD. Boot your computer from it....and select the "Repair" option instead of "Install" to launch the troubleshooting utility and try and perform a system restore.
