Thank you for this very informative video. In the srtTrail from notepad. I’m getting the root cause as “a recently serviced boot binary is corrupt”, with repair action: “Uninstall latest LCU”, error code = 0x905. When I try to uninstall updates,, I get “ we ran into a problem and won’t be able to uninstall the latest update of windows” for both the quality and the feature updates. This just happened a week ago. Do you suggest booting up in safe mode to try and remove the LCU update or should I do a system restore?

Hello bro;
If you can do it from Safe mode it will be a better choice then doing system restore, however, If you unable to uninstall the problematic update from safe mode, the System restore option is the most reasonable way to fix your issue if you have a valid restore point.
Also you can try to remove recent packages using DISM tool.

I tried the dism method from the recovery mode command prompt but couldn’t find the update that was bad. The updates that were listed were all out of order as far as the dates go.
I do have two restore points available…one is after the problem and one is the day before the problem.
I will try booting up in safe mode to try and find The bad update first
OK so I couldn’t boot up in safe mode; selecting the F6 key put me back into preparing automatic repair. Right now it says “attempting repairs” as it usually does, only this time I got the message “checking disk for errors this may take over an hour” first. Keeping my fingers crossed

Still not working. I did a system restore successfully going back to July 13, which was before the bad update. But when I restarted the computer, it went right back to the preparing automatic repair, and ended up with automatic repair couldn’t fix your PC. I’m really at a loss now as far as what to do.

If the cause not available, use all methods one by one until you fix your issue.
All methods are safe and if not help, can't hurt.

Try SFC tool and see if it could fix your issue or at least generate a report with the problem in your computer.
If there is an identified error in the SFC log file, post it here and I will try to help you.

So, If there is no identified error using SFC, try other methods one be one and add any error you faced with any method.

my error is corrupted file at C:\hal.dll. but i can not see it on root directory of C:. i only see it at system32 folder and winsxs folder. my settings is shown hidden files and unhide protected system files.

Make sure you have the WINDOWS folder inside your windows partition. I you have that folder, search for winload files in the Windows partition using these commands:
DIR /S /A D:\WINLAD.EXE
DIR /S /A D:\WINLAD.EFI
Replace D: with your windows partition if you have another letter.

i need help on error code 0x57 i downloaded something and ran it and it said restart your device which i did and boom keep getting blue screen i need help
- Boot into Safe mode and remove that installation.
- If the installed file is a driver, disable that driver using DevMan tool, or disable driver signature verification from startup menu and the remove that installation.
- Try to do a system restore
If all previous suggestions not helped, you may need to do a system reset or to reinstall windows.

Nothing appeared, I simply exited and continued in windows.
Now there is no boot option other than HD and DVD.

Bro there is no logfiles in system 32 . There is just a log folder which is empty. I ran SFC scan it says windows resource operation could not perform the requested operation.

- In relation to logfile, make sure to change the "File of types" option to All in Notepad window, and make sure you are lookin in the correct partition.
- In relation to installed driver, you can try to use the suggested tool in the video to disable drivers that you are suspected its the problematic drivers one by one.

Least I can remember I installed a new ssd and it runs without problems but after I tried defferent sata cabel for the HDD(old one) and it started to saying "Inaccessible boot device"several times later it has stopped to saying inaccessible boot problem.when I'm starts the PC its just load the screen saying " automatic repairing" and after "diagnosing your pc" and saying PC did not start correctly click restart or click advanced options for fix this problem...

For my root cause found it days “ startup repair has tried several times but still cannnot determine the cause of the problem “ my initial problem was when I entered my PIN to login to my computer even though it was right. The computer wouldn’t accept it. I forced restart it to hopefully reboot and go into safe mode but I couldn’t go into safe mode.. now every time I turn on my computer it goes to the repair part. I'm having the same issue. First it started with "pin is not available" and then force restart it goes to bsod trouble shooting. Been doing this for weeks now and still can't fix it.
@@ILLFINGAZ yeah what I had to do was get another computer and get a usb that had at least 8gb and download windows 10 to it. ( do not have anything else on the usb ) once you get that. Go to the blue screen where it says “ factory reset with usb “ and you’ll have to whipe your computer clean and restart over brand new. It sucks. Stupid windows 10

1- Type BCDEDIT then press enter. If you see he BCD details, then you didn't determine the Boot partition correctly in order to delete the BCD file then rebuild it with Y & N option.

2- In relation to deleted comment, you have to press Shift+F10 (not Shift+F12) to open new CMD window, however, it may not work in some cases.
3- In relation to DIR /A /B /S V:, that is because the assigned letter (the V:) was removed after restarting the PC

When I try to do the /ScanHealth command it pops up with this "Error:23 An initialization error occurred for more information, review the log file. The DISM log file can be found at X:\windows\Logs\DISM\dism.log" how do I fix this?

There is no difference between both of that. However, you can create a bootable USB and boot from it to see "x:\source"

Good news! (Well, for me) I fixed mine by reinstalling Windows using USB. It works well now.

LCU stands for *Latest Cumulative Update*
Try to remove the Latest Cumulative Update from the Advanced options menu by clicking on Uninstall Updates.

Hello, so i tried EVERY option, but there is always an error preventing the task, i tried uninstalling all the files, And there is an error, i even tried to use my old Windows 7 OS, but it automatically boots to Windows 10. How can i fix this? Cause its my personal Computer. :(
