    Thanks. I’ve just successfully fitted one of these on to my 2016/2017 NC750S (which is identical in this regard) following your instructions. All went well, except I’d like to add one change to the install process. From your video (and I think also in the general installation guide with the Scottoiler) I saw the drip tube guide was clamped on by the axle nut, so I swapped my axle around to suit. That was a mistake. When the axle is tightened by turning the nut the Scottoiler tube guide rotates, too, making alignment (and subsequent re-alignments) difficult. Having the axle installed with the nut on the other (brake) side (the standard side?) makes things a lot easier when tightening it up. Holding the axle (and thus the drip tube guide) steady is almost automatic and requires much less effort and provides much less frustration after a session of accurate pre-tightening alignment!

    Thanks for posting this helpful video. Can't help thinking that the NC750 should have been shaft driven :-)

    Brilliant vid as obv this helps you fit a scotty to any bike. Really clear. Thanks. One thing to point out - if you run the feed pipe along the underside of the swing arm then need to use a paddock stand (no centre stand) then that's not gonna work, so run it along the side!!

    Hello, does this motorcycle have a vacuum outlet? I understood that it hasn't. Thanks

    How do you identify the vacuum pipe? I have a Yamaha XJ6 Diversion F and I cant see anything in my manual.

    Which year is the motorcycle? I am asking this because on scottoiler web page is specified that the vSystem is not compatible with this NC750X

      @stevehillier9389 5 лет назад +1

      The vSystem fits 2016 onwards pre 2016 only eSystem or xSystem. The EVAP hose on 2016 onwards provides the vacuum.

    can you comment on the long term review on this product? Does your chain get gunked up with dirt?

    • @daveday
      @daveday  6 лет назад +1

      Tommy T It doesn’t get gunked up but the outer faces of the links can be a little dry.

    Many thanks for the info.
    What about the other line of O-rings?. I see 2 "T" pieces, but just one dispenser needle...

      The other bits may be needed for other bikes. For the NC750X just use what I used in this video and you’ll be fine.

      The single sided dispenser actually puts the oil straight onto the sprocket, which then pushes it into the inside of the chain, where it can creep outwards with centrifugal force. If you listen on a little to the nice guy in the video you pointed out, then you'll notice he says he puts lubrication on the inside of his chain and then lets it get distributed out when the chain moves, just like our system.

    • @mrfechu6281
      @mrfechu6281 6 лет назад +1

      Centrifugal force can not send oil left to right. I still can´t see your point. And i am not saying i´m right, just that i don´t get it.

    Hi Dave. Would you be so kind to give us an update on the product? how is it performing ? do you see the other side of the chain also lubricates ? thanks

    • @daveday
      @daveday  6 лет назад +1

      Pablo Condés Hi, overall I’d say it works well but the outer faces of the links can be a little dry. Every so often I’ll brush oil on the outsides of the links.
