Thanks for the video. I received my center stand kit with no directions - you've provided the solution - was installed in under an hour. Thank you!

    Nice video !
You cannot imagine how easy is to put the spring first and then the axle....

Your video is the best so far.... plenty of light so we can see unlike some of the other videos on this subject ..

Big thanks for the tip for fitting the spring. I was thinking how on earth to get this in place until i found your video👍👍 I used a thick steel wire instead of the shoestring. Now my Aprilia Tuareg 660 has a nice center stand.

Getting that spring stretched and attached is real tricky! Great video and your bike is impressively clean.

Search “Honda NC750X Main Centre Stand Easy Install” exactly like that with centre spelled that way. It’s on “Nicks Episode” channel. So much better than the strength pull the spring back or the ratchet strap to the rim. It does require a bit of strength to align the stand to the holes for the shaft to get taped in but nothing like the strength required to pull the spring back with the stand installed full into position. Truly the single best way to install this.

I liked the speed up parts, good editing. More you tubers should be that self aware about when they say things that are redundant or irrelevant.

Many people who put on center stands only put on enough grease to warrant putting the stand down once a day or so. I think maybe you nailed the amount necessary to put the stand down 10k times a second.

Thanks. I hope your bike has seen road time since putting on the center stand because that underside is (was) super SUPER clean.

I bought a Motion Pro Heavy Duty Spring Puller for $16. Mounted the stand on the bike first, then springs. The springs took about 10 seconds for the narrow one first, and then about 30 seconds for the second fat spring (it took me two pulls to get it hooked on). It's amazing what having the right tool for the job can do. 🙄

Great video. I bought a new scooter and the center stand spring is not connected. I've watched several videos trying to figure out how to do this. This seems like the best solution. I hope it is a solution. I'll try it.

Its not "Rocket Science" I fitted a Center Stand to an old 1970's GT550 without the aid
of a manual. It was a lot wider than the one you fitted, and I did not need to remove any
of the four pipes to install it. It was just simple mechanically logic, the only thing I had
to wrestle with was the return spring, but I got there in the end.

The center stand that you reference on Amazon says it's for the 700 series Honda not the 750. Is it the same Center stand for the 700 and 750? Thanks.

Rather than using RATCHET STRAP....use automotive BRAKE SPRING pliers, did on mine and it was quick and easy from left side of bike. Hook front springs first then use pliers on rear ones. EASY PEASY.

Can you do a video on getting it onto the stand? I have the centre stand on my bike, but I'm having trouble getting it onto the stand. I tried the usual rock back and lift, but it's just too heavy

Press down hard on foot leaver, just as it starts to lift pull back on handlebars.

Stand on the stand with your right foot as you are standing up on it and when you are pulling up with your right hand then her weight will be minimum and she will lift up in a second. Cheers! 😉😉😉

  • @theperson7718
    @theperson7718 3 года назад +1

Way to much white grease. if that drips off what's right behind it...... The rear wheel and if it drips while you're in a turn a bye, bye to you and your bike.
