Found your video immensely helpful. The job seemed daunting with just the instructions in hand because the diagrams are not clear. Being able to watch you do it before trying myself was priceless. I had to do everything down to grinding to make room for my center stand LOL. Thank you.
This two left handed genius routed the horn wires between the mounting bracket and the engine guard. So, the connectors are squeezed between two solid metal pieces. ”Nice” touch, I'm sure the vibrations did the rest.
Hello , i have the same Bike and the same Parts . /SW-Motech SKid PLate and OEM Center STand. I have followed the insctructions in your video . I have problems screwing the bolts into the plate. If I screw in the rear bolts first, the front bolts do not go in and vice versa.
Please stop using Loctite on each screw. Buy a dynamometric key and tighten to the correct tightening torque, especially in the aluminum parts of the engine. As you may have noticed, Honda does not use Loctite.
I mounted the same skidplate.. didnt even use loctite or wrench where you can set the torque.. Tight is Tight. Havent had any bolts / fasteners go loose.
Ive removed many bolts and they've all had a loctite product on them (white anti seize). Loctite stops the bolts from seizing and corroding as well as prevents them from vibrating loose. Just make sure you use the correct colour otherwise you will have problems. Torquing a bolt is important as well but if you cant remove it because it seizes you wont be any farther ahead.

In step six (6), shouldn’t the washer be placed up against the rubber insulator? On the inside of the bracket.
NO
Great videos, very detailed and informative. I want to ask you what crash guards have you used, what make are they?
Must have lost interest in YT as soon as the video was done…😝 I see not a single respond to questions at all 😞
