Wow. I find it so endearing seeing olden day photos. I was born in 1956 & my parents had a son first then me then my dad decided he wanted another. Then my sister was born nearly six years after me. And she was a spoilt brat. For some reason mum favoured her. We didn’t have much food or clothes back then. But my sister was chubby & dressed warm & and a real turd. She still is today. My brother passed away over about 36 years ago. I don’t understand how a mother cannot want their own child. But I love kids so I had 4 sons & would have easily had more but would have loved a girl. I could never have dressed one as a girl though. I find that a bit odd. I enjoyed that story Rosie. Sad as it was. The things that happened so many years ago. And you will always miss your love. How could you not feel like a part of you is missing. But you are a wonderful women & mother & he is watching over you. I believe that. 🥰🥰

As always Marg, I love hearing from you! Sorry to hear about your hard times, so glad they are gone into the past. I have heard about the "baby" in the family (last child born) being the spoilt one and coddled by the parents. My sister thought that was me because I was the last born, but in this situation she was so wrong. If you haven't received your letter yet, I expect it should arrive soon. If for some reason it doesn't come, let me know and I will send you another one right away! Hope to hear from you again Marg, and please keep that warm heart of yours shining!

Happy 1st Heavenly Birthday, Eugene. (Belated). Today is my Dad’s Birthday. We lost him in 2013. Keeping you and the kids in my thoughts and prayers, Rosalee. I know the anniversary isn’t going to be easy. Spend that day with the kids remembering the good memories. Perhaps play some type of game of, “Who has the ____ memory with Dad”… “Who has the ___ memory with Dad”… things like silliest, happiest, craziest, adventurous, etc. They could “win a prize” for best story. You, of course, will be the judge, at the end you can award each of them with a “the best” prize (ice cream?). They are (mostly) so young and it’ll help keep their memories going and maybe even learn something new they didn’t know. I hope that made sense and isn’t upsetting for you. It’s suppose to help. I’m VERY PROUD of you and everything you’ve been able to do on your own. 🙏🏼💜😊

Back then it wasn't that unusual to dress a baby in whatever baby clothes were available whether they were a boy or a girl. Especially when the baby before them was the opposite sex, it was just the most practical as well as economical. Sending you and your family love and healing prayers.❤

It not been that long since he went home, interesting story. They often dressed boys like that way back then. He seemed like a nice man. I know you and the kids must miss him. Share all you want with us; I think it helps. I see a lot of him in your kids. They all favor him on some features. Hugs. Smile for he loved you and the kids, it is something you can hang on to with the kids. You are doing really well with your grief it shows you are a strong woman. He'd be proud of you. Hard to make decisions by yourself. I think he was old school when it came to being a husband. He most likely asked how you feel and then he made the decisions most of the time. So now you're left with it all, and you're doing a good job. Do not listen to the nay sayers, we all mourn and grieve differently. It is very hard, and it is not drama. It is lonely and frightening to be left to deal with everything, and you are doing it. So be proud of yourself. Block those people. Wish you could find a good support group or person. You have us, though. Prayers and God peace for you. The Lord says Joy comes in the morning so you will have that again. It just takes time. Hugs and peace!

You are so right Leem, with so much of what you say.. He was good at making decisions, so I liked it when he made a lot of the choices for us. The big decisions we always made together. I trusted his sense of judgement and we were very similar, so I didn't need to bother with the little decisions. But if he made the wrong decision, boy, would I let him know. That doesn't mean that I didn't make any of the decisions myself, especially as his health was failing more and more. Thank you so much for your warm and caring words. I love it, and am sending you all the love I can!

She's just expressing how she feels. You are right all of us have lost loved ones and have to find a way to move on. Like I said this is just her expressing herself on her channel. If you don't want to heat it you are always free to opt not to watch her videos. I will say that just from what she has said in past videos she was very young when she married him and from what its sounded like to me he kept her and their children very sheltered and secluded from people and the world. All she knew was the life she had with him. I know he did this out of love for her and his children but it left her afraid and alone as well as completely unsure if how to move forward and progress in life without him. I really think she has come such a long way since his passing. I've seen her become so much more independent and sure of herself and I'm so proud of her for that. She has also allowed her children to make friends and interact with other children and from what I understood that's not something that was done when her husband was alive. All in all I'm very proud of how far she has come in the almost year since his passing.
