I'm so sorry this happened and hopefully you will get your money back from the bank. The 2 enquiries I did get were both genuine - I made sure to check out their profile before replying to them. Never take a deposit and hold something for someone. You want the item, you come and give cash! I know you will know this now, but please never click on any links given to you, or give out or fill in your bank or personal details. Don’t feel bad, my 94 year old mother had a worker come into her home and walk out with her wallet. He charged over $1,000 and another $600 cash Christmas shopping money that was in the wallet. She lost her drivers license, medical cards, personal pictures of our deceased father, her bank card which he accessed somehow online and stole additional money. Who does that to a 94 year old woman? This was a young man in his 20’s and a police report has been filed and his company has been notified, so hopefully he will be held accountable! Pretty sick in my opinion to take advantage of the most vulnerable!

Cash only and meet the buyer at your local police station for the exchange. I read a reddit post recently where someone was selling a phone and met up with the buyer at a public place. The "buyer" asked to see the phone to look it over/make sure it worked and took off with the phone and the money. People are ruthless, don't even give them the chance to take advantage of you.

Go to places that give out Christmas food and gifts for kids. Work it out with bank and authorities as much as you can. If it’s in another country the money is gone.
Type out your fraud claim with the amounts taken. Put it all in writing and make a fraud claim to the bank. They should give you the money back. Its true when they see it processing they can't due anything. They should have frozen your account right away. The second amount stolen should not have been done.

I’m sure if you tell the bank you were hacked, scammed they’ll refund the money. What were you selling that was worth substantial amount of money? You don’t seem to be making eye contact with the camera. That’s suspicious to me because you always maintain eye contact even from your first video. This is extremely uncommon. Nest stop Market Place.
Far too many things are going on. Now a friend that got counterfeit money.
I'm so sorry this happened and hopefully you will get your money back from the bank. I was selling something on FB marketplace last week (in England) and had 5 potential buyers blocked by FB as not legit! The 2 enquiries I did get were both genuine - I made sure to check out their profile before replying to them. Never take a deposit and hold something for someone. You want the item, you come and give cash! I know you will know this now, but please never click on any links given to you, or give out or fill in your bank or personal details. Sending you love, really hoping your bank will be kind x
@@whitespace7130 I’m in the UK and that’s how I do. Come with the money and check their profile. No need for deposits for cheap items of £20. I would save the item for a few hours or a day or two but relist it if they didn’t pick it up. Same with gumtree & eBay.
This infuriates me‼️ Praying for justice 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
This was different, and scary, he knows where she lives, were the Police called, finger prints, company he worked for?
Wow, that is so incredibly low, I can’t believe they would take advantage of someone like that.

Oh Rosalie, I am so sorry this happened to you. It can happen to anyone. I have had my bank call me and ask if I had purchased an item in another state. They cancelled my debit card and issued a new one. I can imagine the stress you are going through. Hold your head up! You are dealing with this as well as you can. I pray for a successful outcome and you get your money back soon. I know nothing happens too fast. I will keep you and your family in my thoughts and prayers. Sending love 💗
Thank you for your kind words and prayers, it means a lot to me!
@@lynnemt our bank does the same thing. You have to notify them if you are going abroad or if you are planning a large transaction. If they see any suspicious or strange requests they immediately block your card until you phone them.
They also refund any monies that have been fraudulently taken.

I hope you're able to find some peace before Christmas and enjoy it with your beautiful kids.
You will rise from this Rosalie! 💗

This is a horrible mess, Rosalie, and I really understand your despair... It was encouraging to hear that your older brother was there with you, good to know that you have contact with some of your family. Hope that some of them can help you this last week before Christmas. ❤I'll pray that you get the help you need to get your money back ❤ And I will pray that Christmas with all your children will be a good and blesssed one. May all of you feel HIS presence. ❤Greetings from Norway. (Talk to you later, sweet Rosalie...)
Great to hear from your Trude! Sorry to say that when I said "Brother" that was a mistake. I did get out of bed after only a few hours to record the video so I didn't mean to say that, it was my older son who helped not my brother.
I'm sorry this happened to you Rosalie. Please stop blaming yourself. These scammers are so sophisticated and so fast at stealing from people! When I sell on Marketplace, I only sell local and meet in a public place, never at my home. I'm praying for you and the kids, that this nightmare comes to an end! Much hugs and love ❤
You were speaking with fraudulent people 🙈 I’m so sorry. My bank has insurance on my money
That’s a great idea to make the public meetings place a police station! Good thinking!
Sorry to hear your news hopefully the bank will sort it out for you, thinking of you all ❤
I am so very sorry that this has happened to you. In our everyday walk of life its hard to to trust people.
Rosalie, please stop giving your bank information over the internet, there has to be an easier way like Paypal or maybe you can have your bank set you up with Venmo with a separate account for just those type of transactions. Please check with your bank representatives before you allow any transactions to go through.

Get all the details and give it to the bank, and they WILL refund you back for the full amount. I was scammed, and the bank refunded the full amount back to me.
They don’t always refund you! Don’t give her false hope!
The bank isn't going to give their own money .
This just happened to us and the bank didn’t give us our money back. 1500 dollars and we reported the first charge in the morning as fraud. Then 4 more - all to Coach and Dicks Sporting goods- places we never shop- charged all over the US- the bank said oh well- Chase bank.
@Allinadolllslife It's not giving false hope when I WAS refunded the full amount, and many other subscribers here have shared that they were refunded! Take a hike!!
So true same happened to me though it was only about 75$. My bank was on top of it and refunded it all back to me wo any problems.
Please don't feel foolish Rosalie . You are a strong, noble woman and a wonderful, loving mum . Your children love you no matter what. The shame is on those horrible people who did this to you. I know things seem hopeless now, but this soon will just be a bad memory. Please just hold on. The bank will sort things out for you, even if it takes some time. You have a very special angel watching over you and he will make sure things will work out in the end. Please don't beat yourself up for this. This is just a bump in the road of life. We all fall for one thing or another because we believe the best in others. The good thing is you have cards to fall back on. Missing a payment isn't the worst thing in the world. Hi Ma’am, sorry you were scammed. This is the biggest scam on Facebook marketplace. I stay away from using these apps to sell items. Praying for you and your children that you can get your money back. 😊

So sorry about your circumstances. You can't trust anyone these days. I am very hesitant to do online banking, etransfers or anything that takes new technology...meaning, I stick with old age phone banking, cheques etc...scammers are way more advanced now. It's a scary world out there. Just try to take some peace and faith out of knowing you have all your family, good health, a warm home and food in your stomach. I know it's stressful, but this too will soon pass.
You got this!

I was scammed 2k not long ago. I felt like an idiot after but they were very sophisticated. Can’t trust most people online. So sorry it happened right before Xmas.
Same with me. They are getting very good with the scams and they seem so legit until it’s too late and they have your money.
Oh Rosalie, I am so so sorry that this had happened to you. Please learn by this and realise that not all people are nice in this world, you happen to be on of the genuine kind ones, ask for cash on collection, don’t give your bank details out on email. The only way I would go is cash or PayPal. To be honest Rosalie, you are a wonderful mum and a kind person, take this is a bad hic up and you cannot punish yourself for this. Most of us get scammed at one time or another, you will now be much more vigilant and it shouldn’t happen again. Xx
Rosalie, my heart is so saddened that this happened to you. This world, unfortunately, is filled with some pretty nasty people. Im hoping you will be able to get your money back.
Why would the bank give her money that they won get back!

In the U.S. the financial institution will handle everything when it's fraud. They even give you a credit for what the scammer took. Then they go after the scammer and make things right. Your account is FDIC Insured. Please stop feeling like a victim. It's the banks job to handle this and you should have all of the funds without question.

Right, but I know someone who was given counterfeit money.
@@Momof8kids And that could happen but online money scams are a lot more prevalent and easier to perform.
I'm sure you will get your money recovered. Unfortunately these things happen too often and most banks can read between the lines. I don't do any kind of bank transfer online anymore.
Oh Rosalie, I am so sorry this happened to you. I just saw someone post on our marketplace about the same thing. These scammers are getting more clever, if they only used their energy to work a real job and make an honest living the world would be a better place.

My niece purchased a car off Facebook marketplace, got scammed out of $1,000. I learned a lot from that experience.
Those accounts they opened won’t go thru because you called the credit bureau..
Also, even my 10 y/o knows when selling anything on fb it is cash only and first come, first served. You cant tell me you aren't aware of this. Good piece of advise, grow up and make damn sure you know what you are doing before you do it.
Seriously some people need to be sterilized and or fixed.. whatever after their first child and this is the perfect example! I would have loved to have had more than one child and for him to have siblings, but I DIDN'T & BECAUSE I couldn't AFFORD THEM & after my first husband, there was no way I was going to trust another one even if I ever did get remarried!! I hate to hear anyone get scammed or stolen from but OMG, what I hate even more is to hear all these women out here just having child after child acting like someone is going to help them take care of them!! GROW TF UP!!
You make almost $4,000 monthly off patron, you make $1,000 or just about from RUclips & that’s not counting what’s on the backend. Your rent for your apartment/home is based on your income. I’m sure if you tell the bank you were hacked, scammed they’ll refund the money.
What were you selling that was worth substantial amount of money? You don’t seem to be making eye contact with the camera. That’s suspicious to me because you always maintain eye contact even from your first video. I’m sure some folks will send you money & you’ll be able to make sure the kids have gifts or do a Amazon wish list that way the money isn’t going to anything/anyone else 🤦🏼♀️🤔
I’m sure that you’ll get money though via super thanks/super chats… Adsense will hit the 22 if I’m correct (in Canada). I doubt your living will take money from you for rent/such if you don’t have it in your bank account
(I know they check here everything down to side sites).
Why are the older children still not working, they’re able to watch the children while you work for vise versa 🤷🏼♀️
