      I always think about this. My intuition says that finishing with a little exposition to cold water is enough for vatas

    Will my vata dosha balance quickly when I drink and eat warm foods alot and exercise and oil puling and massaging... ive been travelling alot. Stressing alot also.

    • @Clareminded

      it will help for sure, but also slow down. Take time to rest, while also incorporating these other practices, and in time, you should see the benefits.

    Just watched your Vata yoga video along with this one. I’m fairly new to Ayurveda and yoga beginner. I’m definitely strong Vata dosha and Pitta as secondary. Just learning about how to balance myself as I’ve been very stressed for a long time and my immune system has been wreaking havoc on my body (skin burning up with welts and itchy hyves). 5th time this happens in a span of 22 years. Need help with finding and learning what can help bring me back to healthy balance.

    Clare do you have ADHD? I ask as I have it and I know many vata people have ADHD as it's very airy and mobile so we are allover the place and so it affects my memory where I have a poor short memory and poor working memory along with a struggle to retrieve words during conversation. I recall you saying you have coeliac, so do i. I wonder if ADHD and coeliac are linked and Vata imbalance is a factor in this? But I really want to improve my memory.

    • @CharityVictoriaJones
      @CharityVictoriaJones Год назад

      I also have coeliac, ADHD and am a vata. This is a very interesting question! Routines and activities like meditation help improve memory (in my experience), as well as eating a good amount of healthy fats while toning down the carb intake. Mushrooms like lionsmane help with memory, as well as a good daily exercise. Good luck on your journey!

    I am Vata too and I love the oil practise but I barely do it because I hate the oily greasy feeling. It is not accceptable for me to oil my body and then do anything. I have fear to destroy my clothing, I would have greasy yogamat, I would wait like more then hour to my body absorb all the oil - but this is obviously immposible with your daily regime/work etc. So I just skip it althought I know it would be great for me but I never found out the option how to live after oil massage :(

    One of the recommendations is to oil the body in the morning. I workout in the evening, then shower and apply oil after showering. Do I need to shower and apply oil again in the morning?

    Namaste it is important to keep thr body balanced if it is unbalanced and never correct it could be an issue. You need to always use body oil at night feet oil too meditation. But never see anyone put oil in ear but my mum used to do it when we was little and im not sure why she did that she would hot the oil amd put it in i was only little and hated but apparently as child i was a good baby Lol. Can i kindly ask you please which oil you used on your legs amd ears is it abaghiya oil. In summer and winter food is comsued differently and what to eat what not to eat. I usualy automatically eat such stuff but i get side tracked due to all the food we consume now any tips please send Thank you amd love love this video was so up my street.
