    I had chronic itching and shooting pains followed by a violent and sudden outbreak of shingles which had been dormant for 44 years !! I believe this is to do with vata imbalance from what I have read..I have been forced to live in the city after divorce leaving my small farm and beloved animals. I have felt very out of sorts and am desperate to go back to the country ..once I have the means. Thank you for this interesting video🙏

    Thanks ⚕️ Dr Robert, it's very good advice, and I can't believe how far I've allowed myself to be led astray (& into various troubles) since my initial interest in Vedic knowledge 30 yrs back. Where does the time go?-! Will watch this again, to stay mindful of this wisdom. Cheers.🐍🔱🕉️

    In the case of a Vata and/or Kapha imbalance it will be the best to take several times during the week early in the morning on an empty stomach 1 tablespoon (= 15 ml) castor oil. You will be astonished upon the effects!

    • @enemanozzle
      @enemanozzle 3 месяца назад

      @@HekateCirce You will have to distinguish between "castor oil for external use" and "castor oil for internal use":
      - "Castor oil for external use" is cold pressed of the seeds of the plant Ricinus L. (Euphorbiaceae).
      - "Castor oil for internal use" is additionally treated with steam in order to eliminate the last traces of the extremely toxic poison ricine; this one will be available in any pharmacy.

    Very very nice!
    I studied Ayurveda for one year and I never heard these terms discussed in these ways. Really beautiful and insightful. I have just started to use oils in my nostrils, ears and belly button. I am having and feeling such wonderful results! I think the belly button is making the most difference. I gently warm the oil up in a bain marie before application. I highly recommend it for any vata person. It's has made a significant difference in my pranayama practice and my senses feel alive and unblocked!
    Also, did You say eyes as well? How would You apply oil in/to the eyes please?
    Thank You so much. Best 5 mins!

    Love the video. I have been self studying Ayurveda for 7 years and have your book Prakriti. I found the emotional connection part interesting. My vata is currently aggravated…I know what my errors are, and working on fixing them.
    ALSO…something I’m doing different this year is spending less time with my family (mum & siblings). They aren’t bad people, but I find them toxic, and not easy to be around as my authentic self during my spiritual journey. I’m wondering if this could be adding to it? And if yes, how do I balance my peace vs emotional connection?

      kaustubh Dehlvi das for eyes pure ghee should be used, for other parts sesame oil is the best. Oil should be warm.

      kaustubh Dehlvi das I study Ayurveda and it says for eyes ghee is the best as eyes are Pitta (fire) predominant organs and ghee is cooling (sheeta) in nature, so it will heal the eyes without increasing the fire elements. Unlike ghee, sesame oil is warming in nature and it's good for other parts of body and head, it will pacify cold Vata.
