Unfortunately for myself and everyone who works nights, we are unable to eat at the same time consistently because, on your nights off, most of us try to sleep at night. Working nights is a whole other beast, when it comes to loosing weight and building muscle.
Im 6,3 feet. I found this interesting even if it dosnt directly apply to me. I guess increasing the DMR by buildings muscles also could work on tall people.
(i’m 5’4, 20 yrs old) during quarantine, i went from 115 to 140. now i’m at 125, still looking to lose about 5-7 pounds. 100% my entire lifestyle changed. i had never been 140 before, but i also had never had chik fil a everyday or ate a pint of ice cream a day before. now, i’m back to eating more home cooked meals (and no fast food), going on walks, and eating ice cream as a treat maybe twice a week (sometimes more, but i definitely am not eating a pint a day 🤭). also, counting calories in the beginning was very much needed. cuz even tho i thought i was eating healthy then, i was still eating too much. now i’m off calorie counting and can estimate a good amount to eat. i also used to lift weights all the time pre-covid, so i’m super excited to do that again once i’m back at school in 2 weeks. overall, i feel way healthier than i was at 140! healthy habits build up, and you’ll never want to stop doing them once you’ve got it established
As a 5 ft women, with a bmr of 1280, it sucks to try to be in a deficit. I've lost 120 lbs but can't get past 160. Weight training 3 days a week and cardio twice a week. Please can you share how you did it please, I’m 5’3 as well, l’ve lost weight since high school but now it’s like I’m at a weight loss plateau, no matter what l do l can’t lose weight past 152. I’m stuck at 152 lbs
30 mins strength training,5 days a week, walk 10k steps a day, no processed foods,no sugar,, a gallon of water a day
@@vakosak82 thank you for responding 😊
@@vakosak82 Hey, what do you mean by less sugar?
People see: LESS CALORIES
I see: LESS FOOD COSTS
this is simple truth. just because its "simple" does not mean its easy. I have been simplifying my diet (one ingredient foods majority) and now I am more full, weigh less and have more muscle.
i am 4'11 and currently trying to lose 40 pounds, so glad I found your channel!!! You are awesome.
Same I’m about 4”11 to 5’0 and I’m so glad I found him too!!

What if someone has issues digesting large ass salads or large amounts vegetables. Recovered vegan. Was vegan 5 yrs ago and was vegan for
7 yrs before. Thank you
I can digest fruit really well
Same. Ive been doing fruit only Sunday-Thursday and I add my protein and other food groups on Friday and Saturday. If I eat meats fish or chicken I don’t digest it as fast. I’m 5’1 by the way
Unfortunately for myself and everyone who works nights, we are unable to eat at the same time consistently because, on your nights off, most of us try to sleep at night. Working nights is a whole other beast, when it comes to loosing weight and building muscle.
You are such a blessing Eric! Thank you for this video man!
I'm 4"11 and when I gain weight it's definitely as noticeable as when I lose weight 🙃
short people problems

I have a medical condition that won't allow me to lift. I can use elastic bands though. Can they work to build muscle as well?
Thank you!
You are the best!! 👏🏼

Love this video! Thank you!!
Ha! Interesting 🤔 I'm 5'3 and I didn't know this until now lol I loved this info! Thank you
Im 6,3 feet.
How many calories do you intake now?
Congrats! How many calories were you eating to lose weight?
Good info even if you’re not short, thx!
The explanation really helped me in understanding why my workouts weren't working. Thank you so much for doing this for us petites!!

Thank you for these videos!! This is was super helpful
As a 5 ft women, with a bmr of 1280, it sucks to try to be in a deficit. I've lost 120 lbs but can't get past 160. Weight training 3 days a week and cardio twice a week. All I've done is get stronger and thicker but can't lose any more weight. I've had a body scan to check my body composition. Getting jealous of "skinny fat" women!
I’m 5ft 5in I’m down to 209 from 250. I’m hoping to get to at least 180 by December. And hopefully 150 by July
can you do a video about eating below your bmr to lose weight?
Awesome video! Would you consider greek yogurt and cottage cheese a nutrient dense and healthy food? I swear by eating a huge salad with dinner every night...you are right it is a game changer especially with healthy fats and proteins in it.
I love your personality
Thank you for this video Eric 🥺♥️
This video is so helpful!! Thank you!
I always watch you in Tiktok! Your advice really helps! :)
Examples of your favorite “big ass salads”😉 for this 5’3 girl trying to drop back down to 120lbs from the current 135lbs I’m at now?
You’re videos are so helpful by the way.
5 feet here! Your video is SSSOOO informative! Thank u
I’m 5 ‘1 and it’s a constant struggle .. also if I gain 5 pounds it looks like 20 on a tall person
Me too
Thank you for this video!! Motivated me to start eating better 🙏🏽
I used the tdee calculator and it tells me my maintenance calories is 2489. So out of that if i wanna loose weight how many calories do i have to eat? Im 5'1ft
4 ' 8" i gain weight fast but I always loose weight. From 168 to 120 . 1 year took me. Good info here
Shorty here!! Thanks for this
The term for a person 5’4” or less is Petite. I don’t see my 4’11” body size as “short”. I prefer being called petite. The best exercise for my body is weight lifting. Building muscle will help increase my metabolism. I only eat 20% under my maintenance calories. My maintenance is 1934 20% is 386 - I eat 1548 calories per day. On days I do heavy workouts I don’t do a deficit. I’m burning more than 500 calories when I workout. I don’t need to eat a large deficit when I’m working out 5 days a week.
I just did a calculator. It said my maintenance is 2,242 cals (5’2 , 155 lbs, 16 yrs old) So I should be eating 1742 cals to lose 1 lb a week?
I'm 5'4 and i lost 13 pounds in 8 weeks just by lessening my calorie intake
As someone who is 5"1 , ( 156 cm) THANK YOU FOR THIS VIDEO 🤣
4'9 here ❤
As a 4'11 can you recommend me what could be my estimate calorie deficit for the start to loose weight?
Chicken broth diet and intermittent fasting is my thing now I was 230 today I weighed in 226 four pounds in a week I make my own and it kept me full for few hours
Does fasted cardio help or hinder any kind of weight loss efforts?
I believe it helps. I do fasted weight training too. No issues.
