Always and will forever be my favorite band. I'm not a political person but i respect musicianship and Zach and Tom just set a bar I dont think any other band has really ever reached since. They spoke for their generation and i respect that but they did it with a sound that has yet to be replicated.

Every generation has it's poets if you will who take on society the 60s and 70s had Bob Dylan; Jimi Hendrix John Lennon and Jim Morrison as well as the punks like The Sex Pistols the 80s had the emerging hip hop groups and the 90s had Nirvana and Rage Against The Machine who were more or less reactions to the respective political climates of their era but still relevant today
But MY generation doesn't seem to have anyone who actually wants to shake the boat stirr up the waters in any artistic form and if they are there's no way they'll get a shot like the big boys clowns like Taylor Swift; Katty Perry; Justin Bieber or One Direction
And it OK if you like them but their music is little more than disposable pop and not even the good kind

I was there for the 2000 DNC show. I ditched high school and jumped a fee fences just to see these guy. They were everything when i was in high school 15 + years ago.
