I wasn't a full blown hater, but I wasn't a big fan. I loved the new models in general (aggressors grew on me quickly, Inceptors still look like trash and I'm still not huge on their vehicles), but I wasn't a big fan of the lore at the time and I *really* hated how they were initially just "super-dee-duper" space marines. They had better stats, better gear, removed flaws that gave chapters character, and it wasn't until a bit later that their inventor and the nature of the development process were expounded upon. Also, something that got left out of this video -- this came on the heels of the End Times for Warhammer Fantasy. The setting was completely erased just 2 years prior and replaced with Age of Sigmar, which a *lot* of players (myself included) considered/still consider to be vastly inferior as a setting, and they made a lot of. . . let's call them "questionable" story and lore choices to make that happen. It felt a lot like GW was going out of its way to shit on their own lore, games, and fans.

I remember when Spartan IVs dropped and I thought they'd try to make chief and kelly and all them obsolete. Seemed that way at first. Now chief is just a god-figure that all the IVs seem to look up to, and he's still better, and upgraded with modern armor. Kinda get a somewhat vaguely similar vibe.

can't imagine seeing that in person! was it successful in any of the cases you saw? used to be a funeral director and later work in organ/tissue recovery so i ended up with folks after... but have so much respect for what the medical profession does. i could never handle that.

It was pretty much a last-ditch "nothing else has worked, so we will be their heartbeat", but in the 2 times I have seen it, there was also a lot of other damage, rather than a singular cardiac event, which Cardiothoracic surgery told me separately would have influenced the (in their words "mind-bogglingly low chances") possibility of success.
I only knew that because my dad had to do that to someone when he worked as a medic and he brought that up when a war movie depicted it and I was like " What're they doing? "
That “massaging of the heart” for Mephiston during surgery is actually done in real life cardiac surgeries to facilitate the heart to pump blood, especially if it stops beating etc.

For me, it was the lore aspect of removing the various Chapters' genetic defects. As you said, it felt like they were trying to erase the character-building flaws that made the other Chapters so interesting. And with the memory of Matt Ward and the Ultramarines still lingering in the back of my mind, it felt like GW was trying to just make ALL Marines Ultramarines, just with different paint schemes. And that really didn't sit well with me.
I feel like this is a deeply flawed take. They’re just losing their Genetic defects but it’s like it’s being made out as if they’re losing their entire culture as well. The Blood Angels are more than the Red Thirst and the Black Rage. We’ve seen this highlighted time and time and again. Also Sanguinius would absolutely be thrilled if he learned his sons were free from it. Let’s be honest with ourselves, the Wulfen make up a small part of why people like the Wolves so much. The Wolves are loved for their personalities, humanity, goofy naming conventions and so on. Losing the Curse of the Wolfen won’t make them any less of children of Fenris, and it definitely won’t stop them from using the Codex Astartes as toilet paper. The introduction of the Primaris got us the great stories such as how they had to prove themselves before they could be considered amongst the Sons of Fenris. And what about the chapters with no/minimal defects? What do they lose? Do tell please. Tl/dr: I feel like those who didn’t like the chapters losing their genetic defects were shallow in their opinion as they usually make it out like they were losing their whole identity, seemingly ignoring the rest of their culture and unknowingly disrespecting them in the process.

Because as far as Im aware the only other deep diver who's Worth listening to is Lutein and he really only does DEEP dives. I feel there an element you didn’t bring up: The Non-Space Marine Perspective: For people who don’t play Space Marine and have model ranges that are significantly older and/or smaller than the Space Marines, it felt really shitty for every new release to come with a Primaris: “Okay Death Guard, here’s your new models, and you too Space Marines. Okay Necrons here’s your new models… and you too Space Marines. Here’s some new models Orks… and you too Space Marines.” It’s pretty much the Birthday Cake and Equal Attention cake meme.

That being said, the way Majorkill has decided to handle things disappoints me as someone that did enjoy his content as well. Not speaking with you first and handling things professionally will likely only cost both of you to lose audience share. The thumbnail and title being nearly identical is just related to the core subject of the video so I have no idea wtf Majorkill was whining about. This video is nearly 25 minutes whist his is nearly only 12 minutes. Running both videos side by side, the content is definitely not plagiarized.
I kinda used to like majorkill videos but it was mainly because I had consumed most of the other stuff out there but his stuff is thin gruel in terms of actual content and lore. This channel is so much more interesting

I did not want to comment this but after reviewing the videos he referenced in his video he can just go get bent seriously. Every video you make in long form content regardless if its been done before (Check yourselves there are multiple other creators that talk about this stuff) and nobody holds a patent on the 40k lore or history of events around the hobby/franchise that is GWs and they seem to be cool with people talking about it. Never watched a Weshammer video before but I'm glad to have a new channel to explore. Seems to go more in-depth with the topics. I like that.

I joined the hobby in 2020. At the time I remembered some ill sentiment regarding primaris. But I saw the normal proportions and better models and never really thought about the downside of "losing" your army to these new marines, but I get it now.
Wes also forget to mention how literally all non SM players collectivly went "Are you kidding me?" As every new release for any other factions model was accompanied by a space marine model while many got nothing at all. Eldar still have models over 30 years old and at the time tyranids werent far off. The most popular faction getting an entire range refresh before anyone that actually needed it despite getting updates regurarly stirred a lot more hate towards Space Marines. I still sometimes feel it myself.
Yup it´s confirmed, MK fans did not bother watching his video at all, or they´d understand not to go and act like dipshit towards another creator. I like both creators but damn these fans are crazy.

I dont hate the Primaris I think they're part of a growing problem of the setting going in a direction that they can't come back from. They've brought out the Primarchs. They can't put them back in. And nothing else they release, will be regarded on the same level. So they now NEED to keep releasing more primarchs as time goes on. And once all the primarchs are back, or confirmed fully dead. Where do they go from there? Bring back the Emperor? Go to the end times?

Honestly, I like the Primaris, gives some small hope that the Imperium can learn to move past it's inadequacies. And honesyly, thats always the part of Grimdark I think that gets ignored too frequently. The dim, yet awe-inspiring hope that things can be better than they are now.

The hate didn't die down. A lot of people ( including myself) stopped playing because we couldn't invest the time and or money to start an army from scratch. So we just walked away from the hobby.
Then it had the opposite effect on me and brought me back into the hobby. I was an on again and off again player since Rogue Trader. The thing that would always turn me off was I would get tired of the squatty anatomy. Primaris fixed the look of the Space Marines.

@@AlphariusOmegon618it’s not nearly as difficult as you would think especially if you have some experience painting. It’s more of a paint by the numbers or coloring within the lines type of art than anything. I just finished my first army of world eaters and khorne demons, it took a very long time but I’m very proud of them. Everything turned out significantly better than I imagined they would when I anxiously first started. There are also a *TON* of resources available to get started, video tutorials on YT by not just games workshop but probably hundreds of channels. Just watch a few beginner videos and start up, I would be willing to bet you will be surprised by the results! I would also start small with maybe a box or two, I made the mistake of getting 6-7000 points of units and it took me months….
I think there's a point you're missing. The introduction of Cawl and the Primaris was just part of a bigger picture - the dethroning of the Emperor. For decades, the lore had been that only the Emperor's peerless genius had allowed him to create the Astartes. Now suddenly, not only could this never-before-mentioned random techpriest come up with something way better than the Astartes, but the Emperor wasn't even the one who created them in the first place! It was actually this never-before-mentioned random scientist Amar Astarte. It de-specials the Astartes, turning them from the pinnacle of genetic augmentation to just another product. Why should I care any more if a chapter's geneseed is lost? Cawl can just whip up some more! Honestly, I think the Primaris hate has died away because a lot of the people who hated what they did with the lore just left the hobby.
Having watched both MK and WH videos, i cannot see why majorkill tried to start the year off with some needless drama. MK is always short burts of lore with aussie nonsense, Wes is longform lore and Grimdark horror.
The way I see it is that Primaris marines are to Space Marines in the same way that Age of Sigmar is to WHFB. Trying to force a complete re-buy of the faction. The only real saving grace is that GW didn't scrap the original range when the primaris range launched. We are seeing the gradual scrapping now- so many kits have been pulled (Rip classic dread) so I imagine it'll end with just tacticals being upscaled (maybe as MkIX with MkVII helmets) and that's the only link to the old range.

l originally came from major kill's video, I was a bit skeptical of his claims since I started watching his videos around 2 years ago when his primarias video came out and his video quality back then wasn't the greatest. I can safely say he was full of shit and didn't bother to actually watch either his old video or your video before making a call out post since your video actively explored the various issues instead of being a TLDR post like his video. for example your video spent 5 minutes talking about the financial/table top issues (5:30-10:30) while he spent quite literally 30 seconds (6:10-6:40 in his video).
Majorkill's vid wouldn't have made sense if he was in another niche like history for example. But it made sense in wh40k because wh40k is a niche where you have to crank your brain to get good ideas since there's not much to work with. I don't think he's too mad at the content he's mad at the ideas being taken since it probably took him a while to come up with them.

The real issue is Majorkill built his channel covering the same topics as other channels and adding his own twist then complains when a new guy comes along and covers a topic better just like what HE did back in the day and acting like he has a monopoly covering a topic because he made a 10 minute video 2 and a half years ago that barely touched on the topic.

What he is kinda pointing out is that it's kinda a dick move for someone you've been mentoring in the middle of the night to steal your ideas without at least saying where you got the idea from. I think this whole drama would've been nothing if Wes just said "I saw majorkill do it and it's a topic I wanna talk about too" it wouldn't have taken away from both and it might even elevate Wes as someone who's very humble.

Not only that but I kinda like wes's versions better since it's longer and doesn't enable my ADHD more. The problem I think stems from how Wes and major were close but by just getting ideas and then passing it off as his it was a pretty dick move. Idunno tho if it was me in wes's shoes I would've started every vid with "I got this idea from this person and I went to find more info on it" since I understand the feeling of not being able to think about original ideas and wanting to talk about something cool you heard on the internet. If I had the bravery I would've started a yt channel talking about things I found on yt but expanding on it with my own twists and research.

It should have been that Cawl was tasked to correct the defects in the Gene seed and had a massive stock of it. After G man went into stasis he never stopped tweaking it and had a huge supply of first born on Ice. Guiliman wakes up and checks on Cawl and finds hundreds of thousands of space marine popsicles and is like wtf?
Then you could have a huge infusion of new warriors and some later models seem to actually be a significant improvement. Things look good and it brings new hope to the imperium. Then some anomalies start popping up in some of the batches... thunder warrior type anolomolies. Cawl anticipated some issues with certain generations and installed a fail safe. Some marines catch wind of this and go rouge. Still loyalist, just mad dog vigilantes. Start their own chapters made of a mix of differnt gene seeds. Cawl sends out forces to cull them. Let's see Papa smurf handle that.
Instead now they made it that The primaris project was already underway under the order of the emperor and Gulliman was somehow given access to it. Which is contradicting because why not give Gulliman the Raptors, a finished product? Why not give every loyalist primarchs access to the project? And if it's so important that only a few primarchs can be trusted with, shouldn't Lionel be higher on the priority list?

For me, it was 2 things: Powercreep and cashgrab. They could have marketed the new marine model line, which is what this really was in the end, as new armors, weapons and technologies developed by Cawl to help push back Chaos in the indomitus crusade. But no, GW ALWAYS has to sell each new model as THE BEST OF THE BEST OF THE BEST EVAH!!!!! That's why each codex tells you their faction is awesome and superior in every way, they are selling you the minis like a f*cking car salesman. When GW pulled the primaris out of their ass, I knew what they were going to be even before I read anything about them, space marines but better in every way, so they can make up new rules and force the plastic addicts to buy entire new armies now that the old ones they sunk thousands of $ into are outdated. I don't hate the concept of the Primaris, I hate absolutely everything around it, from the lazy and plot hole ridden lore behind them to the fact old time marine players have to essentially buy a second army now.
I used to love Primaris but now that all my cool weapon options on my characters are gone, and tons of firstborn units are gone I’m starting to kinda hate primaris. Especially the characters. The only SPACE MARINE character who can have a damn CHAINSWORD is the jump pack captain and that’s a warcrime in and of itself.
This way of selling models made me quit 40k a few years before the primaris. The constant fight to try to catch up with your friends was ridiculous and gave a really bad after taste.

Sure, they haven't spent decades interconnecting lore, characters, books, rules, and numerous other things for fans. Without retconning much of the new lore if they can help it. Obviously, GW doesn't care about their fans or the story at all.

I'm not a usual follower, but I don't agree with Majorkill calling you out. He made a good apology and admitted he was an ass but I'm reaching out to build the community. I hope y'all can forgive him. Basically, we don't need a fan heresy, we're all on the same side if we're all preaching the Emperor's Truth. I'm here to support 40k content creators and I appreciate all contributions! I love Primaris simply because the Ravenguard finally got some much-needed reinforcement.
I will die on this hill. Screw primaris, some of us still haven't forgotten or forgiven. It was just horribly written in and scummily marketed. It just doesn't make any sense at all. I think the entire concept could have been handled alot differently and better.

Pretty soon, Bruce Wayne stops putting on the Batsuit at all which is just as well because the Batsignal (now known as the Little Batsignal) has been put in storage. Bruce develops a drinking problem and eventually people in Gotham forget that Little Batman was ever a thing. In the story the writer has created, all of this makes perfect sense. Commissioner Gordon likes Bigger Batman because he's better at solving crime. The citizens of Gotham like Bigger Batman because he makes them safer. Vicki Vale likes Bigger Batman because he's better looking and has a bigger dick. As a comic fan, I fucking hate Bigger Batman, and not for any kind of internal inconsistency with the story. I hate Bigger Batman because with a few words- with nothing more than a few exclamation points, really- the writer has made a beloved character with decades of rich backstory into the smaller and less impressive version of itself. Bigger Batman doesn't add anything positive to the story unless you are actually going for satire, but he does fuck up the existing character of Batman. That's why I hate the Primaris marines." I have no recollection where I found this for the first time, or who originally wrote it, but it's such a beautiful write-up of why primaris suck. I got into the hobby in 2022, and all of my space marines are Primaris. But boy if I had been around when they came out, I would've been the biggest Primaris hater out there. My personal headcanon is that Primaris don't exist, the only thing Cawl found was a slightly more efficient way to create space marines, and the reason why they're intercessors now and not tactical marines is because Guilliman revised the Codex Astartes after waking up.

I don't hate Primaris, as a matter of fact, I'm an unironic Phobos armor pattern enjoyer. The thing is, GW did a Space Marine Heroes line where they released a couple of First Born sculpts in true scale. And they are absolutely glorious. So all they had to do was to revamp the SM line in true scale, and people would buy it.
On one hand, I like the futuristic design, it really fits for chapters such as the raven guard. On the other hand, their vehicles are comically awful-looking.
Nah, one kit is ok, but the scale of Primaris being just normal marines upscaled? People wouldn’t buy them, they will just buy new bases and re-base the old marines

And they wouldn't be "normal marines", their new futuristic looking gear alone would get plenty of people on board provided GW offered a reasonable explanation as to where or how Cawl got this stuff.

You got me into warhammer by coming across shorts a few years ago, I didn’t really continue watching any lore content on RUclips because I was so fascinated by reading for myself. I’ve also painted about1500 points of black Templars. Anyways since 40K has been such a big part of my life the last few years I’ve come back to the channel and subbed to you in support. I wasn't a full blown hater, but I wasn't a big fan. I loved the new models in general (aggressors grew on me quickly, Inceptors still look like trash and I'm still not huge on their vehicles), but I wasn't a big fan of the lore at the time and I *really* hated how they were initially just "super-dee-duper" space marines. They had better stats, better gear, removed flaws that gave chapters character, and it wasn't until a bit later that their inventor and the nature of the development process were expounded upon.
Also, something that got left out of this video -- this came on the heels of the End Times for Warhammer Fantasy. The setting was completely erased just 2 years prior and replaced with Age of Sigmar, which a *lot* of players (myself included) considered/still consider to be vastly inferior as a setting, and they made a lot of. . . let's call them "questionable" story and lore choices to make that happen. It felt a lot like GW was going out of its way to shit on their own lore, games, and fans.

I remember when Spartan IVs dropped and I thought they'd try to make chief and kelly and all them obsolete. Seemed that way at first. Now chief is just a god-figure that all the IVs seem to look up to, and he's still better, and upgraded with modern armor.

It was pretty much a last-ditch "nothing else has worked, so we will be their heartbeat", but in the 2 times I have seen it, there was also a lot of other damage, rather than a singular cardiac event, which Cardiothoracic surgery told me separately would have influenced the (in their words "mind-bogglingly low chances") possibility of success.
I only knew that because my dad had to do that to someone when he worked as a medic and he brought that up when a war movie depicted it and I was like " What're they doing? "

For me, it was the lore aspect of removing the various Chapters' genetic defects. As you said, it felt like they were trying to erase the character-building flaws that made the other Chapters so interesting. And with the memory of Matt Ward and the Ultramarines still lingering in the back of my mind, it felt like GW was trying to just make ALL Marines Ultramarines, just with different paint schemes. And that really didn't sit well with me.

I feel like this is a deeply flawed take. They’re just losing their Genetic defects but it’s like it’s being made out as if they’re losing their entire culture as well. The Blood Angels are more than the Red Thirst and the Black Rage. We’ve seen this highlighted time and time and again. Also Sanguinius would absolutely be thrilled if he learned his sons were free from it. Let’s be honest with ourselves, the Wulfen make up a small part of why people like the Wolves so much. The Wolves are loved for their personalities, humanity, goofy naming conventions and so on. Losing the Curse of the Wolfen won’t make them any less of children of Fenris, and it definitely won’t stop them from using the Codex Astartes as toilet paper. The introduction of the Primaris got us the great stories such as how they had to prove themselves before they could be considered amongst the Sons of Fenris. And what about the chapters with no/minimal defects? What do they lose? Do tell please.
Tl/dr: I feel like those who didn’t like the chapters losing their genetic defects were shallow in their opinion as they usually make it out like they were losing their whole identity, seemingly ignoring the rest of their culture and unknowingly disrespecting them in the process.

Every video you make in long form content regardless if its been done before (Check yourselves there are multiple other creators that talk about this stuff) and nobody holds a patent on the 40k lore or history of events around the hobby/franchise that is GWs and they seem to be cool with people talking about it. He knew making this video would get people to come over here and comment / harass you his little BTW dont go over here and do anything is just a CYA comment. I joined the hobby in 2020. At the time I remembered some ill sentiment regarding primaris. But I saw the normal proportions and better models and never really thought about the downside of "losing" your army to these new marines, but I get it now.
Wes also forget to mention how literally all non SM players collectivly went "Are you kidding me?" As every new release for any other factions model was accompanied by a space marine model while many got nothing at all. Eldar still have models over 30 years old and at the time tyranids werent far off. The most popular faction getting an entire range refresh before anyone that actually needed it despite getting updates regurarly stirred a lot more hate towards Space Marines. I still sometimes feel it myself.

The hate didn't die down. A lot of people ( including myself) stopped playing because we couldn't invest the time and or money to start an army from scratch. So we just walked away from the hobby.
I really want to buy my own models. Just for shelf decoration or something like that if I didn't suck at painting.
Then it had the opposite effect on me and brought me back into the hobby. I was an on again and off again player since Rogue Trader. The thing that would always turn me off was I would get tired of the squatty anatomy. Primaris fixed the look of the Space Marines.

It’s more of a paint by the numbers or coloring within the lines type of art than anything.
I just finished my first army of world eaters and khorne demons, it took a very long time but I’m very proud of them. Everything turned out significantly better than I imagined they would when I anxiously first started.
There are also a *TON* of resources available to get started, video tutorials on YT by not just games workshop but probably hundreds of channels.
Just watch a few beginner videos and start up, I would be willing to bet you will be surprised by the results!
I would also start small with maybe a box or two, I made the mistake of getting 6-7000 points of units and it took me months….
I think there's a point you're missing. The introduction of Cawl and the Primaris was just part of a bigger picture - the dethroning of the Emperor. For decades, the lore had been that only the Emperor's peerless genius had allowed him to create the Astartes. Now suddenly, not only could this never-before-mentioned random techpriest come up with something way better than the Astartes, but the Emperor wasn't even the one who created them in the first place! It was actually this never-before-mentioned random scientist Amar Astarte. It de-specials the Astartes, turning them from the pinnacle of genetic augmentation to just another product. Why should I care any more if a chapter's geneseed is lost? Cawl can just whip up some more!

The way I see it is that Primaris marines are to Space Marines in the same way that Age of Sigmar is to WHFB. Trying to force a complete re-buy of the faction. The only real saving grace is that GW didn't scrap the original range when the primaris range launched.
We are seeing the gradual scrapping now- so many kits have been pulled (Rip classic dread) so I imagine it'll end with just tacticals being upscaled (maybe as MkIX with MkVII helmets) and that's the only link to the old range.

I can safely say he was full of shit and didn't bother to actually watch either his old video or your video before making a call out post since your video actively explored the various issues instead of being a TLDR post like his video.
for example your video spent 5 minutes talking about the financial/table top issues (5:30-10:30) while he spent quite literally 30 seconds (6:10-6:40 in his video).
Majorkill's vid wouldn't have made sense if he was in another niche like history for example. But it made sense in wh40k because wh40k is a niche where you have to crank your brain to get good ideas since there's not much to work with. I don't think he's too mad at the content he's mad at the ideas being taken since it probably took him a while to come up with them.

It should have been that Cawl was tasked to correct the defects in the Gene seed and had a massive stock of it. After G man went into stasis he never stopped tweaking it and had a huge supply of first born on Ice. Guiliman wakes up and checks on Cawl and finds hundreds of thousands of space marine popsicles and is like wtf?
Then you could have a huge infusion of new warriors and some later models seem to actually be a significant improvement. Things look good and it brings new hope to the imperium. Then some anomalies start popping up in some of the batches... thunder warrior type anolomolies. Cawl anticipated some issues with certain generations and installed a fail safe. Some marines catch wind of this and go rouge. Still loyalist, just mad dog vigilantes. Start their own chapters made of a mix of differnt gene seeds. Cawl sends out forces to cull them. Let's see Papa smurf handle that.

Instead now they made it that The primaris project was already underway under the order of the emperor and Gulliman was somehow given access to it. Which is contradicting because why not give Gulliman the Raptors, a finished product? Why not give every loyalist primarchs access to the project? And if it's so important that only a few primarchs can be trusted with, shouldn't Lionel be higher on the priority list?

For me, it was 2 things:
Powercreep and cashgrab. They could have marketed the new marine model line, which is what this really was in the end, as new armors, weapons and technologies developed by Cawl to help push back Chaos in the indomitus crusade.
But no, GW ALWAYS has to sell each new model as THE BEST OF THE BEST OF THE BEST EVAH!!!!! That's why each codex tells you their faction is awesome and superior in every way, they are selling you the minis like a f*cking car salesman.
When GW pulled the primaris out of their ass, I knew what they were going to be even before I read anything about them, space marines but better in every way, so they can make up new rules and force the plastic addicts to buy entire new armies now that the old ones they sunk thousands of $ into are outdated.
I don't hate the concept of the Primaris, I hate absolutely everything around it, from the lazy and plot hole ridden lore behind them to the fact old time marine players have to essentially buy a second army now.
I used to love Primaris but now that all my cool weapon options on my characters are gone, and tons of firstborn units are gone I’m starting to kinda hate primaris. Especially the characters. The only SPACE MARINE character who can have a damn CHAINSWORD is the jump pack captain and that’s a warcrime in and of itself.
This way of selling models made me quit 40k a few years before the primaris.
The constant fight to try to catch up with your friends was ridiculous and gave a really bad after taste.

In the story the writer has created, all of this makes perfect sense. Commissioner Gordon likes Bigger Batman because he's better at solving crime. The citizens of Gotham like Bigger Batman because he makes them safer. Vicki Vale likes Bigger Batman because he's better looking and has a bigger dick.
As a comic fan, I fucking hate Bigger Batman, and not for any kind of internal inconsistency with the story. I hate Bigger Batman because with a few words- with nothing more than a few exclamation points, really- the writer has made a beloved character with decades of rich backstory into the smaller and less impressive version of itself. Bigger Batman doesn't add anything positive to the story unless you are actually going for satire, but he does fuck up the existing character of Batman.

I have no recollection where I found this for the first time, or who originally wrote it, but it's such a beautiful write-up of why primaris suck. I got into the hobby in 2022, and all of my space marines are Primaris. But boy if I had been around when they came out, I would've been the biggest Primaris hater out there. My personal headcanon is that Primaris don't exist, the only thing Cawl found was a slightly more efficient way to create space marines, and the reason why they're intercessors now and not tactical marines is because Guilliman revised the Codex Astartes after waking up.

I don't hate Primaris, as a matter of fact, I'm an unironic Phobos armor pattern enjoyer. The thing is, GW did a Space Marine Heroes line where they released a couple of First Born sculpts in true scale. And they are absolutely glorious. So all they had to do was to revamp the SM line in true scale, and people would buy it.
On one hand, I like the futuristic design, it really fits for chapters such as the raven guard. On the other hand, their vehicles are comically awful-looking.

You got me into warhammer by coming across shorts a few years ago, I didn’t really continue watching any lore content on RUclips because I was so fascinated by reading for myself. I’ve also painted about1500 points of black Templars. Anyways since 40K has been such a big part of my life the last few years I’ve come back to the channel and subbed to you in support. I like both of you guys and I genuinely think it was more coincidence between 2 great loretubers than it was direct copying. Obviously I could be wrong, but that is my perspective. Majorkill has made his video private now though. Hopefully the situation doesnt devolve anymore.
