Larry still has it! The master touch! He's the only guitarist that, by his own admission,, deliberately wants to give you the chills!!! No other player has affected me in that way, other than Dickey Betts, with his sweet, sweet, tone!!!
Larry Carlton is a great master as always there is nothing to add. I always love his sound🎸❤. However, also a huge compliment to the band, real cool band❤
Just when I thought I had the Lords Prayer done, Larry he goes and re interprets it again and so much better?More work for me to learn it all over again. He is just the GUITAR WIZARD. Brilliant.
Larry is still searching for the new melody, lick, line whatever one might call it, he tries to find a new melody or the right note...so much more interesting to listen to. The musicians are awesome!!
Great show with his german backing-band featering Hardy Fischötter on drums, Claus Fischer Bass and Wolfgang Dahlheimer Keys ! You guys are the cream de la cream of german musicians and top of the line backing for Larry ! R E S P E K T !

around the 1980's Carlton was taking a break outside the studio and was shot by some robber or hateful person with a gun in his shoulder and chest area . He couldn't play for a while . but with physical rehabilitation and determination he triumphed over adversity and sounds as good as he was like when he was a recording session guitarist for steely dan and others .

Oh My..........The Lord’s Prayer brought happiness and tears to my eyes and heart. This was absolutely stunning and so beautiful........I’m not sure I’ve ever heard any piece of music that was so heartwarming.
Grande músico, acompanhei sempre a carreira do Larry Carlton a solo e com a minha banda de eleição os Steely Dan. Tive a oportunidade de o ver ao vivo no Porto, Absolutamente magnífico, Espero que possa voltar um dia.
Truly incredible musicianship, truly incredible music. :) I have personally been a fan of Larry Carlton, and an admirer of his incredible guitar playing, since his days with The Crusaders back in the 1970's. This concert definitely demonstrates that the one and only Mr. 335 absolutely has not lost a thing. :)
You know the first two tunes sounds like his state of mind...like he's getting old a sense of nostalgia and emotion..a sense of embracing...a sense of something missing...you know what i mean...he is a treasure...
Larry is always an inspiration. I probably listen to him too much...if that is possible. He is a great artist. This solo piece at the top is what every guitarist wishes he could pull off. Just the guitar...ad lib style.
People don't always have to. But why is it bad to talk about what you hear, what you like, what throws you off? That's how we learn. Do you think Larry got to where he is by not having an opinion about music? Without, analyzing and dicussing and making judgment calls?
Saw Larry live on this tour in Holland. Small venue, and at first bit disappointed at line up because I knew none of the names. But to my surprise or better yet to my delight German bassist and drummer totally rocked the house. Really loved it.
yes, Larry is one of those who know very well how big a part " sound-ing" has in his music. Consisten part of it, I d say; take that away and the whole thing changes . For some, also big, artists, this doesn t play any role, or hardly some; they can come on stage and do an excellent show with what they find there , regarding equipment ( think of Chuck Berry, and even Joe Pass in his later years - unbeliveable ! ). Yet, with Larry Carlton it just isn t the case.
In the beginning of this music I seem, If I had child and well aged, I would get that feeling. 動画の最初、もし自分に子供がいて歳を食ってたらと想像して聴いてたらと想像して聴くとフィーリングが掴めそうな感じがしました。途中からはとてもノれました。今度ライブ見に行きます。楽しみにしてます。
Großartiges Konzert, maximal groovende Rhythmusgruppe. Larry Carlton perfekt. WOW!
Larry is the best all-around guitarist that I've ever seen/heard. Larry is my favorite guitarist.👍
This is what happens when you get extraordinary musicians in one place. Magic.
if they feel like . . it can also happen that they d talk a lot of bullshit and get more and more drunk as time passes by...
The guitar, the tone, the technique, the style, the music... wow.
How can anyone dislike this?? What a great show!! Larry kills it as always and his backing band is just awesome!!

Otroligt bra spelat med Larry Carlton som solist och bra musiker runt om sig.

Why do people always have to judge music........just enjoy it or move on to something that you do like!!!! GO ALREADY
People enjoy controversy.

There's always an asshole on every page.
Yes we should all have bland opinions. That's exactly what jazz was created for.
