Thanks for sharing, Dan, your vids were a part of my inspiration through the last 2 and half months and I've already lost 20 lbs. As my weight target is lower, I'll keep going with my fat loss journey. I'm already 143 pounds and aim to be 128 pounds)

From 97kgs in August to 88kgs now. I switched to variety of vegetables, variety of chicken peas, variety of beans, pumpkin, yams, Orange flesh sweet potatoes, fermented ghee; one meal a day at 6:30 pm. I have also been off beef and cow milk for 3 months.
I was also doing fasting. My morning starts with a 250 ml of hot water at 6:00 am, @ 8:00 am, I do lemon in hot water, at 12:00 pm, I do a mixture of brewed 1/4 Tea Spoon of; Tumeric, Cinnamon, Cardamon, Ginger, Ginseng, black
pepper, Cloves and then my Dinner at 6:30 pm. In between, I take plain Hot Water.
Amazingly, my LDL that was very high has this month also become normal and my Cardiac Enzymes have also become normal. I feel health, strong and productivity.
I have also been doing daily exercise.

I ate pretty much the same things over a two month span and lost about a pound a week. I ate corn, fruits, and popcorn to keep calories low. Iced coffee helped to beat cravings.

Great content Dan! With you on the low calorie factor of Broccoli - disagree a little because cruciferous veggies contain a number of Thyroid-blocking nutrients (goitrogens, etc.). Solid recos and and content though. And no, broccoli won't kill you 🤓

    Another great video.
I wonder how skinless dark meat compares to skinless chicken breast in terms of protein per calorie. I've heard dark meat has certain nutrients that white meat does not, but just the fact that I like its flavor much more means it would make for a more successful staple of my diet. Thoughts?
Other easy protein staples would be sardines and eggs.

Cals go up if dark meat with skin. Something to keep in mind.

@@danfounder If that's the only downside, then it seems it could be a solid part of one's diet, provided one budgets their calories for it, since, at least to me, it tastes so much better (on rare occasion, I've had white meat that tastes as good as dark meat).

Vast majority of people do not have to worry about this. Gut health yes. Lectins no.

I may be a wierdo or a creature of habit because I eat minced meat everyday. Instead of steaks which are more expensive and do not contain a good blend of colagen from various cuts.

Sounds like some are far too focused on weight loss with no regard for muscle retention. Big mistake.
