Releasing instead of losing weight is a great mind shift, thank you, it's exactly what I needed!! (In the past 10 months I've gotten super serious about my health and have lost 30 lbs via old school diet and exercise, but I still have another 10-15 lbs to "release". Thanks again! 🙏
53 years old, 6 ft, 205lbs. I run 45 miles a week, 2,000 miles every year for the past 10 years. I lift weights 3-4 times a week consistently and cycle and hike on days I don’t run. My biggest weakness is fast foods and sweet tooth I got addicted to since I was 5 years old. I realize when I get older, you can’t workout your bad eating habits. 205lbs is the heaviest body weight for me in the past 10 years. I started a week ago with buying my fitness pal to track my calories and will start with 170g of proteins daily. I do need carbs for my daily 8-10 mile runs as I love running and do many half marathon races with my running club in San Diego. I get about 25k-30k steps daily so my activity is always high. My bf % not bad at about 17% but use to be around 10% before my weight gain.
Hey it’s Angela 👋 I did send you an email response 😆 but wanted to say it here as well and to thank you for giving such simple advice you and my women’s bootcamp instructor a few years back just make it easier to understand and follow!!! 😅 love everything that you mention and makes complete sense 💯 so excited to get 💪!!!! &&& Yessss WORDS MEAN ALOT!!
5 month into weight loss. Following all of these. Tracked all calories for 2 weeks and then just sticking to that for most meals. Have lost 16kg and down to 17-18% fat. Aiming for 12%
Instead of having a daily caloric deficit, I prefer to eat my maintenance calories 4 days a week and fast the other 3 days. I fast wed, sat and sun. I also work out twice a day, 6 days a week; skipping sat. I've LOST 25 lbs in 8 weeks. I was 233. FYI, I'm a 40 yr old, 6ft tall male.
Thank you for sharing! I have lost 40 pounds over the last year, but I have stalled over the past 3 months. I will give your advice a go. I’m down to 30% body fat. A little more than 10% to go while striving to maintain muscle mass. Can I still expect a 1% gain in muscle per month at age 66 or will it be less than 1%? I’m releasing weight and my old mindset. Thank you again for the insight and inspiration!
Hey I want to start my fitness journey I have been going for long walks and jogging very recently And now i wish to starr gymming But i don't know the use of a single equipment except treadmill Can you come with some sort of guide playlist for gym beginners
Great content - just one piece of feedback - loose some of the b-roll - it's too frequent and starts becoming distracting. Having Peter Parker flash on the screen so many times started to disrupt to the flow of your message. It's fine for you to be just talking - perhaps you do more icons or some image that pops into your screen without us being dumped into another b-roll. Great content though - I found out about you via Ali's vlog.
Strength train and get enough protein and rest. It’s hard work, but it’s a simple concept. There are countless high quality fitness channels on RUclips.
I have watched some of your videos, and they come across as discriminatory towards fat people. I’m referring to the overall tone of your videos that come across in a disapproving tone. Smoking, drug taking and drinking excessively are a lot worse than obesity, some research has pointed out that many overweight people actually live for longer than those considered in the healthy weight range. That’s why governments around the world don’t do much about obesity

Right on!
I'm on this journey right now and the Release vs Lose language framework is vital to keeping me going in a happy manner

Hi, you should make a video on what do you eat in a day or may be release some delicious recipes. Thanks
Releasing the weight. Good and sound reframe.
Please can you make at home workout exercises that help build muscle and lose fat. Thank you!
Low carb mostly meat diet, fasting for 16 hours per day, lift weights and fast walk 30 mins per day. Thank me later.

In Lithuanian we say "dropping the weight" which I think makes perfect sense :)
Makes total sense

$12.99 for a rottisserie chicken in canada.
Nice but I need tips on how to gain weight and build muscle, not lose fat

Or find another video, what are you doing watching a video about losing weight
But you don't want to gain weight on your belly. Muscle weighs more than fat.
I see you got rid of that Elon Musk poster behind you. Guess I can watch your videos again.
Hang in there, snowflake.

If it makes you feel better. Maybe denial works for you.
