Thanks for all your advice. I'm trying to eat more whole foods, but this guy's You Tube channel keeps suggesting that we minimise all the foods that we're constantly being told are good for us, because of oxalates. It's scaring me to be honest. I'd be grateful to know what you think about this please. Here's one of his videos ruclips.net/video/bjOpzAiAkZw/видео.html
That's excellent recipes and ideas. I love food myself as a foodie even I could actually follow a healthy diet like that. It's always been more about edition than subtraction to a healthy lifestyle. I always said like everybody else if you add more good stuff to your diet. It will crowd out most of the bad. The goal is to motivate yourself to do stuff for yourself and be healthy. And enjoy life indulge in moderation or gradually Keep certain things in your diet you like and eat 80% healthy. And 20% of indulgent foods. But honestly some of those foods they call it. Golden foods are actually not all that bad for our body unless they're eating an access in the processed the wrong way. But like you said the color guide always helps with a healthy balanced diet. It really isn't as hard as we think to get fruits and vegetables in our diet smoothies and salads would do more than half a serving in a day.
Can you tell us where the Digestive system is in humans for fermenting these man made plants ? I can't seem to find it's location I only found the Acidic stomach and gallbladder. which seems to only be suitable for consuming meat and saturated animal fat...
To all the haters, this woman is in ideal shape, she exercises consistently and truly and she is sharing what SHE eats in a day using her expertise. A picture is worth a thousand words…she looks super fabulous and healthy and her feeding schedule is ideal for an older woman experiencing lower hormones but that is in excellent shape. This is not for the MOST of y’all diabetics or people with an AC1 over 6 and/or overweight people. Those of y’all have to get healthy first by fasting and food limiting and then come around to a video like this designed for healthy people to maintain optimal health.
This applies to the Haterz… if you’re not a Hater, then this would not apply…. For the record, an example of a hater is an unhealthy person visiting this site,of a healthy person, and talking smack about the methodology…
I love this! I eat almost everything she eats and I love vegetables and smoothies. My problem is stress munching, or eating later hours to stay awake longer. I'm 59 and I just bought a treadmill and I'm determined that, God willing, I will be healthier going into my 60's than ever before in my life!
I love hearing about the healthy choices we should be making. But not everyone can eat during the hours that you are talking about. The regular person is on their way to the office at 7:30 to 8:00 am. And before that they are getting ready for work. So they can’t wait a few hours for their body to prepare for a meal. By the time it’s prepared , it’s time to drive to work. But I really appreciate all the good information. It gives me more incentive to do better. 🌷

I ate like this for years, 1990-2003 (IBS and Celiac), until I had an athletic injury and saw a dietitian to help me recover , when i told her how i ate as JJ describes in this video, she told me i cant sustain myself on this kind of diet , my health would be in jeopardy. That said; i was in shock and i got lost in trying every fad diet. Im going back to this eating life style it is the best. 20 lbs to lose now and i want my muscles back on top. Im so happy I found your channel!!! I just finished listening to a podcast you were on. I’m 26 years old and I gained a lot of weight while I was on birth control & also bad eating habits, working nights & not getting enough rest. I’ve lost 20 pounds so far and still need to lose another 30 to be at a healthy weight. I’ve been building muscle and doing my cardio. I hit a plateau recently so I’m going back to the drawing board . I want to increase my protein intake because that seems to be the common denominator when I hear people talk about getting fit. I’m excited for this new era of my weight loss journey. Thank you for sharing your tips ❤
That's fantastic to hear that you found my channel and enjoyed the podcast! Congratulations on your weight loss progress; you're doing great! Hitting a plateau is normal, and adjusting your protein intake is a good idea. Remember to focus on balanced nutrition and continue staying active to reach your goal of a healthy weight. Keep going, and you'll get there!
Love the video, you look amazing! I’m 56 years old. I also do Hot Yoga. I do smoothies 3 to 5 times a week, use the Grass Fed Collagen, also put organic Spinach or Kale and Chia Seeds. Will have to buy Org protein powder again. I’m a Pescatarian so even though I do eat fish twice a week, my other protein sources are organic sprouted Tofu & all types of Mushrooms.
Love all this! I enjoy my homemade sourdough, wheat and zucchini bread as much as anything, so there you have it😊. 5'6, 124 lbs, def need more muscle, so that's my biggest goal. But admit I love love my homemade bread so much!
Thank you so much for this video! I am a breast cancer survivor and I am always looking for ways to change my diet and lifestyle. This video is a great help. ❤️
(Melanie here) I am loving your videos. I just starting watching and am tracking my protein, carbs, and fiber daily to see where to make adjustments. You mentioned the amount to shoot for every day but I wondered if the amount of carbs is net carbs? If so, I need to fiber that out for my options. For example, I found some keto wraps that have 14g carbs but have 10g fiber.
I love your videos! Could you do similar videos for women who've had children over 40? What should our approach be to health and weight loss. When you're Over forty and breastfeeding or hormones are just getting back to normal
I love this. Very practical. I would leave out dairy completely especially if perimenopausal or menopausal. Blood sugar: the order yiu eat your food matters: veges (cruciferous and dark green or fermented), protein (lamb, lentils, fish) and then starches/carbs in moderation and mostky for lunch.
In my smoothie, I freeze the veggies and fruits instead of using ice. Broccoli, spinach, red cabbage, kale, celery, carrots, arugula, and always avocados and nuts, lemons with the rinds, whatever you got. Freeze it before it goes bad so you waste nothing! I also like coconut oil in the smoothies too.
I love these videos! So informative, with a serving of common sense! My one question is, how do you get all your protein in if you are an intermittent faster?
This is awesome, thanks for breaking it down, as I was not sure about how to put that amount of protein into 2 meals in my day. By the way, impressed arm muscles, gorgeous lines show your workout effects 💪
You mention eating during the normal circadian rhythm. I’m a night shifter. My earring times change with my schedule. What would you recommend for me? I work 3-4 12 hour night shifts weekly. Thanks! So glad I found you.
I worked 12 hour shifts for years days/ nights and found what worked best for me, was to keep my eating times the same. After a night shift. I’d come home and have breakfast before sleeping. Then I’d have a proper dinner with my family at 5:30-6 before going back for another night shift. I drank water and herbal teas all night and avoided all the snacks night shifters tend to eat. My body did not need fuel to get through the night as I had more than enough from dinner. On my “dinner break” I would nap or meditate. My day shift eating would be the same. Breakfast before work or take with me for morning coffee break. Dinner either at home after shift, or packed and had on my dinner break. Not changing my eating times gave me structure to get nutrition and say “no” to all the “poor me I’m working nights food!!” This helped me from gaining weight and curbed my cravings. Again, this is what worked for me. Good luck on your journey.🙏🏼
I've been watching your videos, and one of the best things I have learned from you is to use tracking of my food. Although I considered myself a clean eater, my servings were out of control lol I think I was literally consuming a cup of olive oil a day, and at least a pound of nuts. Lol 😂😫🤦🏼♀️. an app to track my macros, I am retraining myself to eat the same healthier choices, but on a much smaller scale. Thank you!
Great information! What would you suggest for someone who doesn't tolerate raw vegetables well? I love salads, but my gut does not. Thanks for all this great info!
Hi there! Here are some tasty alternatives, lightly steaming or sautéing your veggies keeps them nutritious while making them easier to digest. Roasting is another great option; it enhances the natural sweetness of veggies like carrots and peppers. For a warm salad, mix roasted or sautéed veggies with quinoa or brown rice, add goat cheese, and drizzle with vinaigrette. It’s a cozy, gut-friendly option! Hope this helps! -Team JJ
Hi thank you for all your great work 🙏🏻 but honestly I’m doing everything you said from eating healthy to exercising to walking to supplements, but my body is so stubborn and doesn’t want to let go of the fat any additional advice thank you 🙏🏻
Fastest way to lose excess body fat is a zero-carb diet for 90 days. I lost 30lbs in 90 days doing that. Now that I lost all the extra fat, I added back some veggies into my diet. I still keep my daily carbs below 20 total grams per day. I'm lean and full of energy now and can play with my kid without getting exhausted. Eating carbs = getting fat. Eating fat = getting thin. Look up Dr. Ken Berry, Nutrition with Judy, Niesha, and other zero-carb influencers.
@@Hertz2laugh I came here to say exactly this! I took my 90 days of no carbs into a year and a half so far and do not plan on ever buying/cooking vegetables at home again.
Great video. I would add eat what feels right. Example, I am not eating Tomatoes, . No desire and contain lectins. Just saying. Chicken is not great for me. I substitute organic turkey. Whatever I. Doing my weight is good and has been long time. I do eat main meal mid day and eat lighter for dinner. I live alone so keep my meals simple and healthy.
Thank you for this thorough video on what to eat daily. I'm in the smoothy part of your video and wonder if there is new research that says seed and nut milks are bad for us? This is what I have been hearing lately. It's so difficult to know what is truly good for us with all the conflicting information. Also, I was diagnosed with hormone positive breast cancer in December of '21. So I try to stay away from chicken because of the hormones. Even clean chicken. Am I correct in believing that the hormones that naturally occur in a chicken (as well as other fish and meats/pork) can affect negatively my hormones? Thank you for the feedback.
Hi there! Yes, some meats can have hormones, especially from factory-farmed animals with added hormones and antibiotics. Opting for organic, pasture-raised options can help. But if you’re unsure, plant-based proteins are a great alternative. It’s all about what feels best for you and supports your health. Keep trusting your body-you’re doing great! -Team JJ
I love it how a lot of people, including this woman tell you to eat two hours to three hours after you wake up. What about people who have to work? How can you have breakfast at 8:30 or nine when most people have to be at work by eight? This schedule is obviously for those who stay home or have a very flexible job.

Yes pls! We need to see some more recipes 🎃💕 I’m gonna give the cbd oil a try for the anxiety’s 😂🤪, does that pre-workouts give you the shakes or affect your anxiety hun?
I’ve been following you for years!!! I was surprised you didn’t put spinach in your smoothie. Is there a reason? I have hypothyroid line you, so wasn’t sure this was oxalate related. Thank you!
Watched a few months after you posted this but I get up at 6:30 and start work at 7:30 and have a job that wouldn’t allow me to break my fast later due to the tasks. I don’t get a break to have a meal until 11:30. Everything else sounds doable for me.
Hi @1_viewer, one thing JJ recommends in this case is to pre-make your loaded smoothie ahead of time and bring it with you to work to have earlier. We hope that helps! - Team JJ
Thank you! I will be 47yrs old next month. I was overweight and have lost 65lb, but I have been on a plateau the last few months. I only have 30lb to go. I lost initial weight by going vegan; which helped me get my thyroid under control. However, I have started weight training about a month ago. Your advice about eating more protein and calories has helped! I had never 'tracked' until I watched your videos. I was only getting about 40--50gr of protein and only about 940 calories a day. That wasn't on purpose it's just that I get full on smaller portions than most vegans. I was a bad vegan; not a huge fan of beans and I am uncertain about soy because of thyroid issues; bummer. That knocked out a major protein source. So, I started eating wild caught salmon and other fish; as long as it is kosher and wild caught. I also added back in organic free range hormone and antibiotic free chicken as well this week. Eventually, I will try grass fed beef. The extra protein and calories have helped me so much! I now get approximately 150 grams a day; goal weight is 145lb with lean muscle mass. I know the BMI will say I need to be 135lb, but I am an endomorph and do not have delicate bones. Again, thank you!

I’m a Pescatarian so even though I do eat fish twice a week, my other protein sources are organic sprouted Tofu & all types of Mushrooms.

How do you know what an non starchy veg is. Thank you for this invaluable information 🙏
Love all this! I enjoy my homemade sourdough, wheat and zucchini bread as much as anything, so there you have it😊. 5'6, 124 lbs, def need more muscle, so that's my biggest goal. But admit I love love my homemade bread so much!
Do you make it in a bread machine?
Thank you for everything you do! Taking your time to help people:) very helpful 😊

I've learned so much from your video, and the explanations are so helpful... thank you!
Thank you so much for this video! I am a breast cancer survivor and I am always looking for ways to change my diet and lifestyle. This video is a great help. ❤️
I am so grateful to hear that my video has been of use to you. I hope that it continues to be a source of guidance and encouragement!
Great information! So similar to my diet, just less red meat more fish and other protein foods. Loved this, thankyou! 😊
Thank you, Van.
I eat tofu and soy milk and wondering if I should stop. Do you have fish everyday?
@@janinedance102 soy is toxic garbage
Thanks JJ - my fave shake is the Chai right now, so good! ❤ You have such valuable info, so important to cut out sugar!
You are so welcome!
Thank you! Very helpful and wise advice. Buttery popcorn is definitely a trigger food, lol. 🍿
I love your videos! Could you do similar videos for women who've had children over 40? What should our approach be to health and weight loss. When you're Over forty and breastfeeding or hormones are just getting back to normal
Love this!!! Thank you for making it simple! 💜💜
1:51 I wish there were examples of what proteins to eat at breakfast to get 30 gms, other than the protein shake
oatmeal, bacon, greek yogurt...
Eggs
Even salmon or lean sausage....
Yoghurt
Steak and Eggs
I follow Glucose Goddess. She says to eat Fiber first before protein… I’ve been doing it for 1,5 years - really helps!
God bless you. This helped us all so much to actually see what you eat. I’m new and Love your channel!
Thank you, JJ! Exactly the information I needed. 😊
Love how you break things down.
Thank you so much for sharing and helping us to be mindful about healthy eating, I appreciate you very much!
We're happy to hear that @sandychatergoon7286 Thank you!

Thanks for sharing, very informative, I'll be eating better for sure ❤😊
In my smoothie, I freeze the veggies and fruits instead of using ice. Broccoli, spinach, red cabbage, kale, celery, carrots, arugula, and always avocados and nuts, lemons with the rinds, whatever you got. Freeze it before it goes bad so you waste nothing! I also like coconut oil in the smoothies too.
What I like about her is the simple way of explaining real science to help us have better habits
Fantastic!! I'm new here and very impressed. Thank you. I have been searching for someone like you.
Awesome! Thank you!
I love these videos! So informative, with a serving of common sense!
My one question is, how do you get all your protein in if you are an intermittent faster?
Thank you for this awesome information and tips!! JJ, you are such an inspiration to my personal health journey. Thank YOU!
Thank you, Donielle.
Really inspirational motivating honey thanks ! We need your spirit and energy .your arms ...goals.
This is awesome, thanks for breaking it down, as I was not sure about how to put that amount of protein into 2 meals in my day. By the way, impressed arm muscles, gorgeous lines show your workout effects 💪
Thanks!
I thicken my smoothies with avocado plus spinach, kale, broccoli stems and goat kefir. Thx for your tips!
What about seeds and nuts in that salad?
@@esperansaloughran693 leave raw spinach out of the smoothy because it's very high in oxalates xxx
Thank you so much for your guidance! 🙏🏼❤️
😂😂😂This is in guidance, this is insanity! Nobody needs to eat that many times a day.
Thank you ❤❤ for breaking this information down, and yes, I did subscribe ❤❤.
You're welcome and thank you!
Subscribed! Love this Nutrition Information!
Welcome aboard!
You have fantastically maintained yourself. Cheers
Thank you!
Thank you for not including the blender sound. Subbed!! ❤

-Team JJ
Thankyou! Really enjoyed this video! Great ideas!
We're glad to hear that! Thank you! -Team JJ
Wow. This video is like a masterclass in nutrition.
Glad you popped up in my thread! 😁
Thanks for coming
Where do you get cacao calm? Sounds yummy . Just finished the mudwtr drink with 4 mushrooms and chai .. also yummy !
Hey JJ what about news re lead in dark chocolates? I used to love/eat dark choc but do NOT want to be getting lead from it. thanks
👏 👏 👏
@@Hertz2laugh I came here to say exactly this! I took my 90 days of no carbs into a year and a half so far and do not plan on ever buying/cooking vegetables at home again.
@@samanthakitch4736 can you say what you eat? Thanks
Great video. I would add eat what feels right. Example, I am not eating Tomatoes,
. No desire and contain lectins. Just saying. Chicken is not great for me. I substitute organic turkey. Whatever I. Doing my weight is good and has been long time. I do eat main meal mid day and eat lighter for dinner. I live alone so keep my meals simple and healthy.
Good video, thanks, a lot of information here,
Glad it was helpful!
Oh my darling one! Thank God you do not USE PROTEIN POWDER also, You speak beautifully slow & clear! I am in heaven!!
-Team JJ
Thank you so much for all this awesome information....I am glad I found you...I am 66 ❤️❤️
Thank you, you're always welcome here! 🙂
This is gold. Thank you so much.
Glad you enjoyed it! Thank you for watching.
A lot of fantastic info to absorb , I must rewatch this I need to see a nutritionist or dietician.
Thank you so much. What's your stepper if we have cravings even if we apply all those advises. Thanks
Thank you so much 🙏
Love these types of videos showing EXACTLY what you eat and why. GREAT!
Thank you! Glad it was helpful!
I love it how a lot of people, including this woman tell you to eat two hours to three hours after you wake up. What about people who have to work? How can you have breakfast at 8:30 or nine when most people have to be at work by eight? This schedule is obviously for those who stay home or have a very flexible job.
Do what works for you. Just don't eat past dinner. Dinner should be eaten 3 hours before bedtime.
I love her but I must eat a little before bed. We are all different.
Where do you buy the wellness powders your using in this video and the cacao calm?

Thank you!
Look at iodinr for thyroid issues
Watched a few months after you posted this but I get up at 6:30 and start work at 7:30 and have a job that wouldn’t allow me to break my fast later due to the tasks. I don’t get a break to have a meal until 11:30. Everything else sounds doable for me.
Hi @1_viewer, one thing JJ recommends in this case is to pre-make your loaded smoothie ahead of time and bring it with you to work to have earlier. We hope that helps! - Team JJ
Thanks a lot par for presentation your nice video.God bless you.
Great advice - I’ a new subscriber and happy I found yr channel
