I walk in my house when the weather isn’t good. Start in the basement, up and around the first floor, and up and around the second floor. I keep repeating that circuit. I walk after each meal. At the end of the day, I’m satisfied if I have 8000 to 10,000 steps. Stairs are wonderful for us! I also stomp to aid building of bones in this old osteoporotic body. Pushups off of the countertops too!
Excellent video- so very informative! I have been a lacto-ovo vegetarian for 40 years but in my latest physical my doctor recommended that I seriously consider changing to a pescatarian diet (he says I'm too thin). This is a hard decision I have not made yet so I am so very appreciative of your food journey. I definitely recommend organic foods and avoiding processed ingredients and added sugars and drink lots of water. Physical fitness as we age is a must! Bring along a friend or family member. And please remember that when starting anything new (diet or exercise) consult with your doctor if you have any ongoing health issues. I love all the recipes!! ☀️🦩🌴☺️🥰😍❤️😊🥰❤️🥰❤️ Hugs to adorable Bentley!!!!
I did strict keto. No processed foods and lost over 40 lbs post menopause. Then due to issues I transitioned to carnivore as an elimination diet. Once all my symptoms were gone I started adding in veggies and fruits. I have bad reactions to so many foods but I need some variety from carnivore. I only eat Vital Farm eggs. Best taste in my opinion
I was able to still wear a size 2 when I was 50 (was in full menopause at 43). I was in my mid 50’s and now at 64, I am a size 6 and can’t lose weight (my stressful job hasn’t helped).
I'm finding that as I age, I just get used to my body & what works for food, clothes, exercise, and then I hit some "age", some number like 50 and my body says "I'm gonna do a 180° on you...Enjoy!" It happened at 35, 42, and now 50.
I feel like your back pain issues had something to do with being vegan. I was vegetarian from 11 to 45...NO MORE BACK PAIN. I'm 60. I think everything you are doing now, from moving, to what you are eating is helping you heal completely.

I forgot to add that I’m doing the “in my house walking circuit” while I’m listening to Angela. What a nice way to get my exercise 😊
I do this also!
I never park close to stores!! I park as far out as I can

We used to walk our mall before I moved to The Villages
That was the best video!!!!! So incredibly helpful and inspiring- thank you so much!
I've done research on different in yolk color and it doesn't mean it's more nutritious but you do you. I bet quinoa would be good in that bowl too!

Pasture raised eggs are the best.

Great video! Any chance you could give us the name of the dietician you were talking about?
