    Watching your videos and seeing that you often don't use matching serger thread really helped me to just start sewing my project! sometimes I was getting stuck and not starting because I didn't have the right thread. thanks

    Hi Sara, this pattern has been on my radar for a while. But have been a tad apprehensive to make, as I am only 5'2", I was rather worried it would be too much of an oversized garment and I would be lost in it...lol. But you look lovely in the Ora, so I'm going to give it a try. Thank you for sharing your make and offer of 30% off the pattern. Love your platform

    I have this kind of dress and it is too large for me. I want to make it smaller but being discouraged because the sewing looks complicated and I don't want to ruin the dress by just cutting it. Thank you so much for this tutorial, I think I can start to resize my dress.

    Hi Sara! Thank you for this video. I am thinking to make this in boiled wool for winter, would that be too thick? Could I modify it to make it without the facing perhaps to avoid bulk? Thank you!

    • @SewingTherapy
      @SewingTherapy  Год назад

      I think boiled wool Ora sounds great! I don’t think it wouldn’t be too bulky even with lightweight interfacing! Good luck! 👍

    Dear Sarah, may I ask, does this pattern company even exist? Two months ago I ordered this pattern using your discount code. I am very disappointed, they have taken my money and confirmed my purchase. Despite a reminder in November, they have simply ignored my request to supply my PDF pattern. Do you perhaps know how this situation can be resolved please? Best wishes Sally Adams

      @@SewingTherapy Dear Sara, the instagram for Soften Studio informs people they wish to archive this pattern at the end of 2022. It is unacceptable to accept money for a pattern paid for on 18 Oct 2022, and fail to supply it. The purchase was confirmed by themseves. I am not at all impressed with such shoddy and dishonest behaviour. Melody has not even had the good manners to contact me. I realize this is not your mistake, but I must say I am furious. Its people like her that give online purchases a bad name. Please warn your other subscribers, that Melody appears to be unreliable and dishonest.
      May I suggest, you do not promote her patterns either as this does not meet your own personal high standards. I always enjoy your utube demonstrations and I love the music your husband chooses.
      So sorry Soften Studio obviously have no idea how to behave decently.
      Wishing you and your husband all the best for the festive season and stay warm in Canada. Best wishes Sally Adams
