Many thanks to you dear Sara! I just made my first Georgia dress, following your beautifully made sew-along, wich helps so much for making sewing my wardroble such an easier, more enjoyable moment! Salutations from Québec, Canada 🧡
I’m in love with your videos! Love the soothing music and your calming voice ❤️ I am a beginner in sewing and I am so glad to have found your channel, thanks for making your tutorials so clear step by step 😍
I love your video those patterns are so beautiful. Although i only seen your video for the second time i love the first dress and i want this second one. You make the sewing so easy to understand and i love that your camera is showing a very close picture where its easy to understand when your sewing. I plan to follow a your videos Than you so much
This is going to be my first ES make! I decided to print out just the tee, and lengthen it to my preferred length, rather than waste more paper. Thanks for the tutorial! I will add it to my original video on these patterns
Yay! That's what I actually did!😊 I read the finished garment measurement chart and figured out the length I had to cut! Thank you Lisa for adding all my video links onto your You Tube channel! 💕 Can't wait to see your version of Georgia!
Such a great video! Thank you so much for making these! I was wondering if you had any tips to make sure your neck line lays flat. I always have issues with my necklines pulling away from my body after sewing in the binding.
Thanks for watching my video, Kate! Do you have that issue with certain patterns? If so, please search for "how to fix a gaping neckline" that will give you an answer!(hard to explain without showing!) It's about the gap between your body shape and the pattern. You can easily fix that issue!
Hi! Can I clarify that you used purchased bias tape instead of cutting a neckline on the bias from the linen you used in the top? I see the pattern calls for us to cut out a neckline piece on the bias.
How much fabric you will need totally depends on how you plan for the project. In case you decide to use a bias binding from another fabric piece, then you might end up needing 1.5 yards! Hope it makes sense! 😊
I don't see any patterns offered on the Elizabeth Suzann website for sale or otherwise. Too bad. For gals who need more room in a garment (even temporarily) it would be a great blessing to be able to access those comfy looking garment patterns. Oh well. Such is life. Still, I enjoy your videos very much. They ARE very relaxing and also motivating at the same time. (As you can see, I am coming late to the party).
I guess Elizabeth Suzann will make their patterns available in the coming year! (It has been delaying but that is what they are saying and planning!🤞) Meanwhile, get your fabric ready and be prepared! 😄 Happy holidays! ❤
Thank you. Could you please tell us what those wee pegs/clips are called or where they can be purchased from, also what is your brand/type of sewing machine. Your videos are a joy to watch.
Hi! Thanks for the nice tutorials! I just bought the Georgia pattern set and I want to know how much silk would I need for each of the 3 Georgia pattens, since I plan on making all 3, all size 4 or medium. So, how much silk for the top, how much for the knee length dress, and how many for the longer Georgia dress. And finally, how many yards of linen for the Clyde pants, size 4 or medium/regular length. Thank you so much!!
@@SewingTherapy yes, I see those fabric suggestions, but it’s not clear to me. Can you possibly help me? I am buying black silk that is 55” to make it just like the original Georgia black silk dress-the ankle length one, I am a true size 4, so I shouldn’t need tons of fabric. It looks like I may need 2 or 3 yards, but I can’t tell because the pattern only indicates 1.5-2 yards for 60” and 3 yards for 44”. Since I’m getting something in between, I’m leaning toward 2 yards. What do you recommend? The silk I’m buying is $48/yard, so I would rather not buy that extra yard and save the $50. Thanks doe your time and help!
Sara I bought the pdf pattern & having trouble printing. Was this pattern easy for you to print out? I am not tech! I really love the simple dress and top. Can't wait to make it. thank you for sharing. Also, I made you full apron. Love it!!!
I had no trouble with printing them out. You should open 'print at home' version with pdf reader such as Adobe Actobat Reader and print it actual size! Hope this helps!
I went to the website in the description but there is no pattern, only finished products for sales 😭 has the pattern been moved somewhere else? how can I get it?
This is my first time watching your videos. I am confused. When you sew the sides and sleeves, did you also serge them? I still love the video and the midi!
The patterns are no longer available for download as Liz Page (the designer) would like to host the files exclusively on her website. To be notified when the patterns are available, please subscribe to the Elizabeth Suzann newsletter on their site: elizabethsuzann.com

Sewing Therapy my pleasure! I want to add pockets, too. Do you think one could use the Harper pockets?
@@Lisamakes Of course! Any add-on pockets would work on Georgia! I would downsize the Harper pocket though!
Very beautiful, your work is gorgeous!
Thank you soooo much!
Love your video, easy to follow. I will be following your channel ❤️
Thank you for following!!❤
This is such a wonderful video. Perfection.
Luv You! I feel a lot more confident sewing clothing with you on the air pad next to me! Just done the sleeve band now for the neck binding 🙏

Do you think the Georgia mid length is possible with a more wintery fabric to wear with tights?
Yes, it sounds like a great plan!

What type of serger do you use? It looks handy with the adjustable arm rest.
I use Brother 1034D! I highly recommend it! 😊
@@SewingTherapy thanks!

I made a bias tape by cutting from another fabric. 🙃
Hello! Is there a reason it's 1.5-2 yards for the Georgia dress? Also how much fabric did you use for the top? Thanks! 🙂
How much fabric you will need totally depends on how you plan for the project. In case you decide to use a bias binding from another fabric piece, then you might end up needing 1.5 yards! Hope it makes sense! 😊
Sara can you tell how much fabric did you used for the midi dress?
I used approximately 1.5 yard for my midi!
@@SewingTherapy Thanks a lot

They are called Craft Clips and I bought them on Amazon! I left the link below the other recent videos!
My sewing machine in this video is Singer Quantum Stylist 9960 and now I upgraded mine to Bernette B38.

The fabric requirements must be indicated on the pattern! Please refer to it!

What singer do you work on? It seems to have overlock too?
I had Quantum Stylist 9960 and it has overlock stitches!
Hello, I tried their website, but the patterns are not free as you mentioned, do you have a specific email that I can try
Thanks, Yudy.
I don’t know if this is a stupid question, but would I need a linen bias if I have a linen fabric dress?
It would be better to have linen bias tape when you're sewing linen dress! But any woven (non-stretch) bias tape would work fine! 😊
@@SewingTherapy Thanks for your response. Love your sewing videos. I am a physician and as a beginner sewer, sewing has become my hobby now.

@@SewingTherapy do I sew each piece together and then serge it? I just subscribed and must watch the rest of your videos.
Yes I do sew first and serge to secure the edges.

Can u please provide measurements for small M size
I’m not supposed to provide measurements as this is a commercial pattern!
Glad I found your channel. Thank you for the helpful info. What type of sewing machine do you recommend for beginners?
Thanks for watching my videos! 😊 I think it totally depends on your budget! Let me know more about it!
May I ask what those clips are you use? (just starting out sewing) thank you
