I loved your first vlog! 😁 I always think one should admire small things like the trees changing colour, and I try to do the same when I go for walks. Beauty is not exclusive to famous tourist spots. You should never apologise for your sewing space by the way - the whole point is to use it, which means it doesn't always look IG perfect! I really like your thread stand. A friend has promised he will make me one from leftover wood🤞🏻
Thank you so much for your heartwarming comment, Jolette! 😄 I completely agree with you about finding beauty in the little things. And you're right, my sewing space may not always be Instagram or any other social media-ready, but it's where the magic happens. I hope your friend succeeds in making you a fantastic thread stand from leftover wood; that's such a thoughtful and creative idea! ✨
Loved this content Sarah. Vancouver in Autumn sunshine looks wonderful - as do all your beautiful fabrics. I dream of visiting one day- with an empty suitcase!!! But it is a long way from the UK.
Thank you so much for your lovely comment! 🍂☀ Vancouver in Autumn is truly magical, and I'm glad you enjoyed seeing the beautiful fabrics. I hope your dream of visiting one day becomes a reality! If you do make the journey from the UK, be sure to bring that empty suitcase to fill with amazing memories and experiences. 😄✈
Thank you so much for your kind words! Natural light can be so inspiring for creativity. Many windows do make the room colder in colder weather, haha! But I wouldn't trade that view for anything. :)
Oh I absolutely loved this blog - I find your content so relaxing and inspiring at the same time - I look forward to seeing some of your fabrics and hearing more about your shops soon x
Your kind words are truly inspiring and motivating. I'm excited to continue sharing more about fabrics and my shops in the future. Thank you for your support!
Very well done vlogging, Sarah, especially for the first time. I like your sewing space and workspace/shop. You're an artist. Including your husband and how could that ever be not a good thing? It's nice to witness happily married couples. The best to you on this journey.
I truly appreciate your support and am thrilled to hear that you enjoyed the vlog. It means a lot to me that you appreciate the inclusion of my husband; we're indeed a team in this life. Your well wishes mean a lot, and I'm excited to continue this creative journey. Wishing you all the best as well! 🌟
Hello, Sara. Thanks for sharing this vlog with us! I love your style, fabrics, the pattern you choose to sew, and your decor. Are these new patterns you're working on? 1:30 I love vests!
I'm thrilled to hear that you appreciate my style, fabrics, patterns, and decor. I've been hard at work on a new vest pattern, and I'm excited to share that it's a collaborative project with CBC Life. Even better, it will be available for free! Keep an eye out for updates and stay tuned for its release.
I enjoyed this especially hearing your home language. I am trying to learn Korean which is very difficult for an English speaker! I will try Devils plan as I like Korean programmes (Crash landing on you and Mr Sunshine have been my favourite so far)
I'm delighted to hear that you enjoyed hearing my home language in the content! 😊 Learning Korean can indeed be challenging, but it's fantastic that you're giving it a try. "Devil's Plan" is quite a different style of show program from the ones you typically enjoy, but I hope you find it enjoyable to watch!
Stay tuned for upcoming content, and I'll do my best to solve your curiosity! :) Thank you for your support, and I look forward to sharing more inspiring and educational content with you! 💕
this is really sweet i enjoyed it!! i did check out kylie and the machine i'd never heard of them and their products seem really cool i think i'll place an order!
Happy to hear that you enjoyed the content and discovered something new! Kylie and the Machine indeed offers some fantastic sewing-related products, and I'm glad you found them appealing!
Lovely Vlog! I miss seeing the autumn colors of Northern America. Here in Japan, we will not have autumn leaves until nearly December, except in the mountains and of course, Hokkaido! Sara, I noticed you are left handed and wonder how you get along with “wonderclips” such as you used here with your elastic waist skirt? I am left handed and find it inconvenient to use my right hand to remove clips while sewing, so I almost always use pins inserted with the head of the pin toward the left so I can easily remove them at the machine. Perhaps you’re ambidextrous or have just trained yourself to remove them with your right hand? I’ve never understood how everyone seems to like them. Now I realize that maybe I can’t get used to them because I’m left handed. What do you think?
Thank you for your lovely comment, and I understand how the autumn colors in Northern America can be missed when you have a different foliage schedule in Japan. 😊 Regarding 'wonder clips,' I'm right-handed myself, but I can see how they might be less convenient for left-handed individuals. It's wise to hear your approach using pins.
I totally agree that speaking in my mother tongue can indeed add my personal and authentic touch to the videos, and it can help in conveying ideas and emotions more effectively. Thank you for your support and opinion! ☺️
I hope you enjoy a glimpse into my everyday life, including a couple cameos of my husband. Thank you for your love and support of my endeavours. 🤍🫶

@SewingTherapy Wow! I can't wait for the new patterns. I'm currently working on my hanbok. It's such a lovely dress to work on.

I like that you can speak your mother tongue… U are now not restrained by a tongue foreign to you. I would think it will make for better videos…
