I love the simplicity of this dress. I think it would also look great with a belt made of the same fabric. I’m adding this to my list and thank you for the effort you put into your work. It’s a pleasure to watch!
I don't know how to sew but sometimes watch the process of doing stuff I don't usually do. It's truly a joy to watch a video put together with such care to details. Bravo!
Love, love the dress and the underarm insert is genius!! ❤. The black jacquard fabric looks wonderful although they are all good. Great to see you doing a tutorial again. 😊 Lynne
Can I ask? I’ve just printed out at home A4 and it’s printed out landscape. I’m a 14 and when I’ve measured the front it will only be 34cm. Have I printed it wrong?
Hi Sara, I subscribed to your channel a while ago and find your tutorials very instructive, especially for a beginner like myself. So glad to see you doing your own designs! I look forward to making an Infit dress :)
This is a beautiful dress! Hope you don’t mind me giving some small tips on how I would construct the dress - I would serge the inner edge of the pockets with a slightly higher differential feed, that way the rounded edge ”curls” just the way you need to press in the seam allowance. It also stops the edge from fraying inside the pocket. Now to the neck finish - There is no need to staystitch as you are sewing on the facing so early in the process, I would do it before the pockets even. Secondly there is no need to understitch as you do a topstitch. Instead do a very neat and meticulous pressing before the topstitch. To make it even more neat I would choose to not serge the edge of the neck facing but instead hide the raw edge by pressing in about 0,5 cm before topstitching (and to do that before it’s attached to the neck hole). Thankyou for making such beautiful korean inspired patterns! ❤️
Thank you for the tip!🤍 While I agree with some points, I also have a different perspective. I designed this pattern with beginners in mind, aiming for simplicity and ease while still achieving a neat result. I intentionally omitted certain professional finishing details, as learners can pick them up gradually with other patterns. Comments from professionals like you can also be very helpful for them! ☺️
Hi Sara, I bought the infit pattern a few days ago and would like to provide some feedback if that’s ok; I sew this dress following a size 8 for a relaxed look (I’m usually a 6) large hips and small waist. The instructions on the pdf and from the video were very clear and I found it very easy to follow. However, I don’t think it actually saved extra paper by putting part of the sleeve at the bottom of the dress. For us sewing at home it can take a lot of space to put it together, so I think it could be beneficial to have the sleeves separate if one decides to follow it. I used a linen fabric light/ medium weight and it drapes nicely and whilst holding some structure. Also, i added inseam pockets instead of what the partern suggests but I’m already planning to make another infit, using the regular pocket included in the video and size up to a 10 to get an oversized look for the summer. Thank you 😊
Thank you for your invaluable feedback! Regarding the paper-saving option, it includes the measurements of three sleeve options instead of actual rectangles, allowing you to conserve paper. I hope you had a great time sewing your first one and are enjoying wearing your Infit Dress!
Hi Sara! What machine are you using, is it B37 or B38? I love the automatic thread cutter option! Would love if you could do a video on your machine! (Unless you already have) ❤
This is a wonderful dress. I'm going to purchase the pattern. (There isn't a paper version is there?l and ger some petrol blue jersey. Truly appreciate your videos!
You look good in everything you sew. Do you ever alter the patterns? I find that I'm short-waisted and I have sloped shoulders. I usually have to remove 1/4 in from the shoulders, then slope it another 1/4 inch, add half inch to arm-hole for ease since we subtracted it from the shoulders.
Hi Sara, I am about to make the gorgeous Infit Dress with inseam pockets. Where would the placement be, please? Is it the same starting point that is marked for the normal pockets? Thank you x
Can u expalin why to make sleeve wing? What effect does this have on fit? Is the only benefit that u can use a contrasting color? Not sure of the purpose or benefit of the sleeve wing! Pls explain if you have time. ❤
@@SewingTherapy i did watch the whole video - lovely video. Do not understand the impact on fit but maybe i just dont understand. Oh well. Thank for your lovely videos
@@MarloweDash ]If you've ever worked with rectangular sleeves, you'll know how challenging it can be to serge the corners. Using a sleeve wing can provide an excellent solution to this issue.

Love this pattern Sara...you video instructions are great. I have made two already and working on number 3 😍😊

H sara, might be helpful to run a gathering stitch around the curved edge of the pocket before pressing for beginners.

Beautiful...looks fabulous on you. I wonder how it would on fuller figure...I would probably like to belt it since I am short but not so slim.
The Infit Dress with a well-defined waistline looks absolutely fabulous! :)
Wow this looks amazing, any pictures of the top version?
I don't personally own one as I'm more into dresses. However, you can check out other sewists' top versions on my Instagram at @yoursara_k!

Also are you using a satin foot here?❤
It's B38. 😉 I don't have plans to make a video about the machine, though! 😅
@@SewingTherapy would you recommend it? Has it given you any trouble in account of being electronic?

Yes you can attach the top of the inseam pocket at the starting point of the patch pocket! ☺️
@@SewingTherapy thank you, I am so excited to make this dress. I love your patterns and video tutorials x
the dress is beautiful but how would it look on a full size? I wear a size 18. If you have that size I will purchase and make it
We offer sizes ranging from 00 to 22. As for the oversized fit, it's all about personal preference!☺️
Hello!! I’m on my way to buy the pattern but I can’t find where to write my size
The pattern includes all the sizes between 0-24.
