Yes, another gorgeous patchwork dress! This one’s really beautiful and the light, summery vibes look so comfortable to wear on a hot day. I think my favourite is still the rich dark dramatic one you made first, but it’s hard to choose! Looking forward to another combination, and to seeing what others make and send to you. 😊
Love the patchwork, another variant of the tie dress to add to me wardrobe. Such an easy drsss to wear. You definitely have a spring/summer and autumn/winter look with the dark and light patchwork ❤
@@SewingTherapy Aww that's so nice you want to see it! I just purchased the pattern. I am working on a dress now but will hopefully be able to start this one in a few weeks.
I watched the tie dress video and when I saw it the first thing I thought was that it would be fun to do with patchwork. So glad to see a visual of it, now i really want to try it!
What a beautiful dress ❣ yes I plan on making many of this design, even solid colors. I can see it in lace, various colors of lace. This is an exquisite delightful dress. It is what I have been waiting for...thank you so very much
Beautiful Sara! Still can’t wait for video on Infit dress with your suggested modifications like slit, bias neck, slight a line, interface pockets etc please 😊
Pretty and inspiring! Do you have any suggestions for finishing seams without a serger? Would you suggest French seams for the patchwork, or zigzagging the edges? I have a large stash of quilting fabric, and this would be a great way to combine smaller cuts and remnants into a garment.
My favorite is the first one; I love to work with deeply colored fabrics.
You flipped round the dress back to front and blew my mind. Brilliant design x

Absolutely gorgeous, and a fabulous opportunity for recycling fabric in a beautiful way.
Thank you! You're right! I was able to use up many fabric scraps.☺️
Every dress was just Beautiful on you! I would need you to pick the fabrics for me or I'd look like I was wearing a quilt! 😂
🤣🤣 Thank you! I feel your struggle! It's not an easy task for me either!
Thank you for the process of building patchwork! 🎉
You're sew welcome!

Pretty and inspiring!

Would you suggest French seams for the patchwork, or zigzagging the edges?
I have a large stash of quilting fabric, and this would be a great way to combine smaller cuts and remnants into a garment.
French seams would make this dress too heavy! Instead, I recommend using a zigzag stitch. 🙌
Oh Sara so cute 🥰
Aw thank you Nancy!
Hermoso diseno muchas gracias
🫶✨✨
Thank you ❤
You're welcome 😊🤍🤍🤍
I do not have overlocker/serger. Can I use zig zag stitch
Yes of course!
Did you mix different fabric types to create your patchwork? Is it necessary to keep the grain of the fabric pieces aligned with each other?
I used a variety of cotton and linen blend fabrics. Since I worked with tightly woven fabrics, I didn’t worry too much about the grain.
So you simply finish the seam of the patchwork by overlocking? Guess I have been overthinking :). Anyway, stunning dress.
I want to keep my sewing process as simple as possible! 😊
