    From a Tacoma TRD PRO owner I love and respect the Nissan's. Probably my next truck in a few years.

    Nice vid. Just remember, Nissan had a horrible idea of mounting the alternator very low. Water intrusion has been an issue (if you have to stop in high water). Also, as I'm sure you know, the air to the airbox comes in through the fender.

    • @4wdAdventurz
      @4wdAdventurz  6 месяцев назад +1

      Yeah. I haven’t had any issues yet. Been driving it through deepwater for almost 2 years now. Also, I don’t know any of my Nissan friends who ever had issues with her alternator from water.. I don’t know. I’m sure it’s not a good idea but I just never hear of anybody having issues. It’s weird kinda…

    Hey 2022 and early 2023 Frontier owners! TSB is now out for the cruise control that revs high on inclines. This will rectify the issue.

    really amazed how the frontier pro 4X handles in off road conditions. That lift with tires I think is a good match. Thinking possibly getting one.

    • @4wdAdventurz
      @4wdAdventurz  6 месяцев назад +1

      I think a 2 1/2 inch lift with really aggressive tires, and these trucks will go just about anywhere most people will take them. Very capable.

  • @backwoodstherapy
    @backwoodstherapy 6 месяцев назад +1

    One good thing about my jeep is it has 29" of water fording capability, stock. With the 2" lift and 35s I'm probably closer to 31 or 32". Glad to see how those KO2s held up in the mud - they're probably my next tire, and I've heard quite a few people say "oh, they suck in the mud," but l guess it depends on what kind of mud, because they did pretty good here.

    • @4wdAdventurz
      @4wdAdventurz  6 месяцев назад

      I think for an all-terrain tire they are probably one of the best ones. They do great on road and off-road.

    • @backwoodstherapy

      @@4wdAdventurz yeah and considering the type of trails I hit and kind of wheeling I do, it makes sense. I'm on an E rated Ridge Grappler now and while they're super tough, that E rated ride gets old after a while. A C rated 37" KO2 is actually a couple pounds lighter than an E rated 35" Ridge Grappler.

    Nothing wrong with a RC bracket lift for the type of off roading you do.. don’t listen to all theses haters just do you brother! I would advise you to get rear lockers & gears first before considering doing Titan swap 🤙🏽👊🏽

    Would you happen to have a measurement from the ground to your front cross member. I'm looking to see have much ground clearance you have with this lift. I'm thinking in one of your videos you said about 15".

    • @4wdAdventurz
      @4wdAdventurz  6 месяцев назад

    Check out winch hitch mount at Harbor Fraight. Easy to just throw in truck and there when you really need it. Just get a good pair of jumper cables to extend the power leads. Had one for a long time.

    • @4wdAdventurz
      @4wdAdventurz  6 месяцев назад

      I do want to go to winch mountain on the front. But I’ll have to get a new bumper. They don’t make any kind of bracket for this generation that you can mount a winch. But I think an E locker is the first on my list for major upgrades.

    • @GetFuktPriusOwners
      @GetFuktPriusOwners 6 месяцев назад

      @@4wdAdventurz I only used it in the rear receiver. Good for emergencies or pulling someone else out. I don't really like the bumper mounted winch. I like to only put it on when needed. Hitch mount allows that.
