Yeah, the Titan swap was gonna happen eventually cause you use your Frontier. I am gonna strictly ride around in mine cause being disabled and stuck in a mud hole just don’t sound fun.

If u install a titan front axle, there's a flange on the axle instead of a spline inserted in to it, so the axle simply bolts on and is a easier replacement

Yeah I would titan swap with 2 inch body lift and you’ll have the same lift with more articulation and strength.

What you just went through is why when ever I have a 4x4 it’s a older straight axle truck.

First time we used our Gazelle T4 it poured. And poured. And poured. Minus a little that found its way in from going in and out and from things pushing on the fabric from the inside, we stayed dry.

Great Video!!! I have a 2014 pro4x and just purchased a stock 2024 pro4x. They drive a little differently, especially off road. Since I have more experience with the 2014, it's much easier to navigate and I know what it can do (although, I am often surprised when I use new techniques I learn from my fellow off-roaders) I'm certain, that with time and practice, I'll get to drive my new Pro4x wth the same ease I drive the old one. I really do like the 9 speed trans, especially since you can switch it to manual. I think that's a game changer. We'll see. I'll keep ya posted. In the meantime, happy off-roading! Thanks for sharing.

For anyone who's actually seen the Cybertruck in person, they know it's a pretty large vehicle. When looking at the size of the CT in comparison to that air lift at 7:30 that's A LOT of hang time!

I bought a 1987 Nissan king cab in 1995 used, for $2500. It already had 204,000 miles. Still working it hard in 2024 with 428,000 miles. Did I pay too much?😊 What I dont understand is how this guy was saying his GM truck was a 2016, but already "wore out" at 160k. Are newer vehicles that fragile, or did it get the crap beat out if it with no maintenance? Or do people justify wants as "needs "? My newest car is a 1998 Honda, and Im frustrated that the transmission input shaft bearing is gone at a quarter million miles. I seriously expected it to go as far as my Nissan Hardbody trans has.

The cruise control is under warranty. I had mine fixed since it was built before 6/18/23. All Frontiers built before this, has a fix from Nissan.

sounds like a guy whining incoherently. Main reason i bought the frontier was the v6 naturally aspirated. and he wants a 4cyl turbo. smh. and i have 2 carseats in the back and have a 9 year old in the middle and have my seat almost all the way back with no issues. WAH 😢

I am more impressed that despite the offset on the Tacoma, those rear tires still manage to tuck themselves in the wheel well.

I never go through water if I don't have to. It's harsh on metal, underbody, wiring and accelerates corrosion.

Why would you guys buy versions of a truck for off roading and NOT OPT for the rear locker??? And that Taco has the worst side steps for off-roading

On that last area of the trucks driving back and forth, the Tacoma takes a different line than the Frontier, making it look like the Tacoma performed with less wheel lift. The Tacoma still has great articulation from stock, but I don’t think it out performed any one’s rig. Plus, that Tacoma had me cringing with those side steps. While I own and love my Tacoma’s, I don’t really consider one manufacturers platform completely superior to another’s. Installing aftermarket lockers though can really make the difference in performance though.

The difference in articulation isn't as pronounced as the video makes it seem. The Tacoma driver just took better lines than you.

We had a 23 frontier was a great solid truck. Not surprised about the results in this video, Toyota put a lot of money into this truck, more than i would say Nissan did for the Frontier. Can't go wrong with either though. Both are awesome and owners of both i would imagine are very happy with their purchase (maybe less for the Taco considering the prices :D)
