I had those hood brackets for the lights and got rid of them..those Allen screws sucked...ended up getting the hood hinge mounted brackets

The Z1 brackets are awesome and well-built. Paired mine with Morimoto 2Bangers and installed the Z1 high lift hood struts as well.

Is the snorkel more for aesthetics or do you really get into water that deep?

Well, the deepest water I’ve been into has been just over the tire.. so maybe 35-36”. But now with the snorkel maybe I’ll brave deeper. 36” is about as deep I’m willing to go without one 😂

Is this truck in your opinion, better than a Tacoma?

Good question. I’ve never owned a Tacoma, so I guess I couldn’t answer. However, I do think they are just as reliable, will do anything a Tacoma will do off road, and are SUBSTANTIALLY less money.

The current taco or the 4.0 taco. The earlier taco in my opinion with the 4.0 was a better start for a trail rig compared to the 2016 newer 3.5 v6 I’ve not been the brad new turbo taco. I’ve not been the new 3.8 V6 frontiers the 2016 4.0 v6 was one of the Torque monster for a OHC V6.
