Aw man, seeing all those legion deaths back to back makes me think of alternate universes collapsing onto each other, causing Legion to multiply and repeat all of his deaths ;( The true terror is when you woke up from your nightmare, only to realise that it wasn't a dream.. For every time I see Tali stabbing Legion, I'll watch her jump to her death in my game XD But man, nice to see a lot of effort putting into recording those scenes and cutting - mixing them up, even keeping the consistency of having Thane and Tali in those 2 scenes. And the Collector Shep O‿O is just mmmm.
I try to keep it the scenes as consistent as possible since the game has it's own priorities as to who does what animation on top of the priorities for the deaths. Like the part where Legion falls during the Human-Reaper battle, Grunt is actually in the party but once they're on the ground, the game priorities Grunt as the one Shepard holds and the opposite is true when Thane is in the party; so I had to use some editing cuts to minimize that continuity issue. The odd one was with the seeker swarm and second team leader death, Grunt was originally in the party with the seeker swarms but when it would move to the second team scene, he'd somehow end up behind the door in the second team which just looked weird. And for some reason, Legion's lines are rather low in volume when compared to everything else. I like to think the Collector Shep is somehow stuck in that suit but since it's a bio-cybernetic armor it's not issue when it comes to day to day and it's like he's wearing nothing at all. As for Tali, she's getting what's coming to her.
"Barriers overwhelmed. Autosaving. Achival upload commencing: No carrier. No carrier. No carrier." That is the most chilling, heartbreaking, robot death ever written.
I would how it would have sounded if legion said no carrier like two more times but each word that was said was getting slower to say something like "no carrier....no...carrier....n-no...c-carrier.....n......n....no-o...ca...caa...carrrrrr.....ier"
I was a bit wary about having Legion in my crew the first time, but I never expected to get super attached to my Geth friend. What made me really love him was when he would say “Shepard-Commander.” That really touches my heart. Seeing him die in various ways like this video pains me. I would never let Legion die.
its even more depressing if you realise if he dies in the collector base then it's actually over 1000 geth dying. legion has something like 1100 geth platforms in his unit and they can't upload into the consensus so they all die with the unit.
Legion should have self destructed as he got taken away by the carrions. Not on screen though. The carrions then no longer appear in the mission and its confirmed he blew up their hives inside of the base. Just for one final punch to the emotions. Infact he shouldn't have even died in ME3. Just do what he tried in two and have use the nearby Prime as a temporary carrier to a new body. Yeah sure he assimilated his personality well just duplicate it, innit. Have him show up and snipe harbinger in the eye beams before he kills two unloyal crew in ME3, thus saving them. It wouldn't make sense for him to be able to shoot them out but who cares?
The problem is that Legion is made up of nearly 2000 geth programs. The Reaper code makes each Geth program it's own AI. Legion is lost because all of it's programs became nearly 2000 different people. Making a copy wouldn't have changed anything.
I seems hard to believe he would not survive a metal gurdur to the mid section, for a robot it should be a few repairs after the removal of the object and he should be fine.
The Geth in the first Mass Effect had white fluid whenever they were shot if I recall correctly. They would likely have some fluids for cooling and lubrication. Heh, lubrication.

Somehow Shepard holding Legion as if he were a person at 3:50 makes it so sad.

The saddest death to me is if you choose to let the geth die, his final line is just heartbreaking. Even tali felt saddened, and we can’t blame them.
