Had chronic inflammation ( 20+ years). Terrible pain. Neuropathy. Burnt out discs. Inflamed joints. Brain fog... and much more. Finally came across an aurvedic physician who did gut clensing, Diuretic meds and more to improve immunity, blood flow, nerve strengthening, emotinal balance. Changed diet and lifestyle, did meditation and more primary de-stress because it was a main contributior for chronic inflammation. And now totally free of all issues, living a new life!!!

I drink three cups of coffee (two decaf) every day mixed with sugar free dark cacao powder plus a small square of 95 percent sugar free dark chocolate. I like the mocha combo with a strong chocolate flavor. I sweeten with stevia or local honey and since I’m on keto a tbspn of heavy cream. Also meditate every am with prayers and intentions without fail. Meditation has changed my life for the better exponentially. I have very little stress any more and I am a much better person on every level. I used to get reactive to any difficulty and slight. Now I just let life happen, with gratitude for all the (often ironic) lessons to be learned and blessings received. It’s all good.

I used to drink tumeric as told by one Ayurveda physician against tumours. But normally I use ginger and tumeric when I cook rice, chicken - always add quite a lot, love the taste. Rosemary is difficult, but I add fresh one it with potatoes mainly. I eat a lot of chili or cayenne pepper I love it hot:) it’s good for stomach but may have not that good result for joints if eaten too much. Green tea has nice taste if you know how to make it and choose the right green tea. I love it in summer cooled down. For omega 3 - I hate salmon, but sardines, herring and small fishes like anchovies have even more omega than salmon so there are many possibilities. I take fish oil supplements high in DNA (around 2000 daily intake).

Response from Bard on mixing ginger and turmeric:
There is no scientific evidence to support the claim that mixing ginger and turmeric is not recommended. In fact, some research suggests that the two herbs may have synergistic effects, meaning that they may work better together than they do separately. For example, one study found that ginger and turmeric both reduced inflammation in mice, but that the combination of the two herbs was even more effective at reducing inflammation.
The claim that the acids in ginger might block the effects of the curcuminoids in turmeric is also not supported by scientific evidence. Curcuminoids are the active compounds in turmeric that are responsible for its health benefits. They are fat-soluble, which means that they are absorbed better when they are taken with fat. Ginger, on the other hand, is water-soluble. This means that it does not interfere with the absorption of curcuminoids.
In fact, some research suggests that ginger may actually help to increase the absorption of curcuminoids. For example, one study found that ginger extract increased the bioavailability of curcumin by up to 2000%.
So, there is no need to avoid mixing ginger and turmeric. In fact, there is some evidence to suggest that the two herbs may have synergistic effects. If you are looking for ways to boost your health, adding ginger and turmeric to your diet is a great way to do it.
Here are some ways to add ginger and turmeric to your diet:
Add grated ginger or turmeric to your favorite recipes.
Make a ginger turmeric tea by steeping grated ginger and turmeric root in hot water for 5-10 minutes.
Take ginger turmeric capsules as a dietary supplement.
When taking ginger turmeric supplements, it is important to start with a low dose and gradually increase the dose as needed. It is also important to talk to your doctor before taking ginger turmeric supplements if you have any health conditions.

Thank you, Doctor Carlos. I will try these. Although, our Island does not have access to a lot of these. But, will try getting rid of proccessed foods as much.

Hi Dr. Carlos.....I just found your video's. Thank you for this all-important info. I do have a question though......when one has to take Warfarin (blood thinner), almost ALL of the things listed here could help tremendously, but for those on thinners, not an approved food or supplement. What do they do?? I'm asking for my family and friends....

Please reply about the high oxalates in these. Could they be bad for those who get kidney stones? Is there something additional to take, to continue to take these anti-inflammatory foods, so as to not have issues with stones as a possible result of taking these?

Citrus fruits like lemon and lime in very warm water on empty stomach is excellent antidote. Some add 1/2 teaspoon of soda bicarbonate. It is not very pleasant, but it works. Drink regularly, but take a few days break and then start again.

I used to take tumeric but had to stop because it prohibits iron absorption and I have iron deficiency anemia. It works great for inflammation tho.

Your statement, “Mixing ginger with turmeric is not recommended as the acids in ginger might block the effects of the curcuminoids.” Where did you get this information from. Can you provide a link?

Need to add pepper to the turmeric. It helps the body absorb the curcurmin by hundreds of percents. Black pepper only.

I would be interested to know what form of Turmeric he is talking about when he mentions 3 grams per day. I take a supplement capsule that has 750 mg of curcumin, and is said to be the highest amount on the market. One capsule a day is considered the max.

I cannot find any other source that says that ginger turmeric combo is not good. Many say just the opposite, that ginger enhances absorption of turmeric.
To me it makes sense. Turmeric with black peppar, cayne peppar Or ginger enhances sbdorbtion. If you happen to see my comment, maybe you can respond.

    Most help - baking soda.
Remember - turmeric better takes with olive oil or sour cream.
Be careful if you have allergies for hot spice 😷
