I had a stressful job. I was driving 3 hours a day. I was my husband's caretaker, too. It caught up with me and i developed diverticulitis, spondylitis, vertigo. I landed in the hospital. It took a lot of life changes and a couple of years to detox. Thank you for teaching me what my Dr wouldn't. Your videos last longer than my dr visits.

I'm 56 years old and I feel like I'm in my 30s. I actually feel better than I did when I was in my 30s because as I got older I became healthier. Whenever my Doctor has tried to offer me anything for like borderline cholesterol or anything I tell her straight to her face I am very anti pharmaceutical. I had An issue with a nerve down my right leg. After an MRI and a nerve conduction study They wanted to give me Gabapenton for it and I refused and Because 2 days before that final appointment I did a yoga class and got tremendous relief. I completely got rid of it with yoga I don't eat a lot of food either and I do a lot of intermittent fasting.. I'm also a court reporter and I have to say my brain is so much sharper than people that are younger than me.
66, no meds, sleep very well, 2 meals a day, local honey every day, apple cider vinegar every day, elderberry syrup every day, oil pulling every morning, food grade diatomaceous earth 2-3 times/week, take supplements every day D3, C, zinc, magnesium, liquid B complex, quercetin and chlorella …. I feel amazing and have tons of energy! I walk 3-5 miles/day too. Thank you Dr Berg, you have influenced me a ton! ❤❤❤😊🎉

I have always been overweight and tried every diet under the book. It was only by chance I met someone in a clothing shop who heard me muttering about the lack of XXL clothing. He told me about Dr Berg and keto diet/intermittent fasting. In a year I have lost 5 stones following the 16/8 eating plan in cutting Carbs and controlling my insulin spikes. I used to get out of breath climbing stairs, my knees, back, ankles all hurt. I used to suffer heartburn and sleep disorder. People who've not seen me for a little while have complimented me on my weight loss and how good my skin looks. I'm not sure if he reads the RUclips comments but thank you Dr Berg for your amazing advice which has transformed my life and probably added 15 years to my lifespan.
I have lost 3 stones. My goal is 5. I have found carnivore to be the easiest ketogenic diet for me. I'm really stalled because I'm putting on muscle. But still losing fat.
This was such a clear and concise explanation of common health pitfalls and how to avoid them. I particularly found the insights on vitamin D, magnesium, and zinc invaluable, especially how they work together to improve overall health. The advice about gut health and the dangers of excess iron and calcium was a great reminder of the nuances of nutrition that often get overlooked. Thanks for taking the time to share such actionable information!
It just makes me wonder how much that affects the health stats we've seen since 2020. I know I had things like psoriasis come out of nowhere that were from stress overload. I suppose it could've been shedding but I've been so stressed.
@mamandapanda185 I never had it, then suddenly my body was covered with it. I left my cheating husband and it completely disappeared! Stress plays a huge part on our health!
Stress changes our biochemistry, realeses stress hormones...and this affects long term our bodies. Even acute stress...or chronic or both. Also, stress depletes rapidly all our nutrients. Go figure if the stress is prolonged, decades even and acute also in the mix. A little stress here and there is maybe ok. But i think, most have of everything to much stresses.
This just reminded me of something about keto diet, this book called “The 23 Former Doctor Truths by Lauren Clark”. My health shifted in a whole new way.
I was misdiagnosed at the hospital. I told them I disagreed with their decision but they wouldn’t listen. After 2 treatments, I didn’t need, they announced they were wrong, didn’t know what was wrong and were going to experiment more! I ended up being escorted out of the hospital by security because I was livid at one doctor who continually hurt me. Stress from the medical system galore.
Happened to me too. I told the Dr what I was exposed to and asked to be tested for it. He said he will but instead he falsely diagnosed me. I asked for test results for exposure. He said there are none and I got a whopper of a bill. I was going to sue but they accepted a hardship case and I did not have to pay. And guess what, when I was no longer exposed by moving away... I was healed. That was 20 years ago
I’ll be 50 in 2 months. I started carnivore 6 months ago and lost 55lbs. Was on 50mg of blood pressure medication and I’m completely off now. Yes to shrinking fibroids with vitamin D! Some doctor prescribed a hysterectomy when I found two 13cm and 15cm intramuscular fibroids in my uterus. I was 44. He told me I did not need to keep my uterus because I was too old to have kids. I tore his stupid printout and went to see a naturopath. Within 4 months of just dietary and lifestyle changes, fibroids started shrinking. 46 now and fibroids free!
Hi! First, i had a full bloodwork done to identify what my deficiencies were, and then I started curating supplements: VitD3K2, Magnesium Glycinate, and zinc, among others (I had many deficiencies). Another crucial one was intermittent fasting; I fixed my sleep hygiene, and I quit all added sugar cold turkey. It was challenging in the beginning, but in less than a month, I could not understand why I ate so much sugar to begin with. Good luck! The first step in the right direction means you are already halfway there.

If you like Dr. berg's content, you should definitely watch Dr,.William Davis' content. He has some recent videos about skin health and collagen you would like. Dr. Berg has interviewed him about his gut health super-yogurt, and of course Wheat Belly is a must have in your nutrition library.
Agreed, Dr. Berg is such a resource. I too have had hives and tchy rashes. My autoimmune system is creating inflammation. I have seen some people making negative comments about Dr. Berg, like doctors care about people....NOT.
@@Mr.AvuncularThat can be caused by Vit. D deficiency. My daughter was doing allergy shots weekly for almost 3 years, but when checked for improvements, she had actually developed MORE allergies. She has over 60 environmental allergies but because her D was so critically low, the shots done absolutely no good at all, she was much worse. This was a long trial and error but it proved to her how important D actually is. Once the D comes up, some of the allergies and symptoms actually began to subside.

I send these videos to my children and family and also voted for Dr Berg for MAHA. It is very sad the amount of people with health issues I see every day going to their Dr and getting worse and taking so many meds. I have in the past tried to tell people but most won’t listen or do their own research. It’s very sad and Dr Berg is right, whatever the doctors tell you to do, do the opposite or like me and my husband just don’t go at all. Thank you Dr Berg for all you do!
Yes true . Won't listen. Why?? My opinion is the old quotes...familiarity breeds contempt. Plus society has engrained or brainwashed those who don't want to listen. Some or most are simply closed minded. It's like that in many other things like politics. Things that make sense to us who are willing to change can't make them understand or convince them otherwise. So, I think you have to be a beacon of example. Sad but true.
I was off for a year i fractured my ankle i let a job stress me out and make me sick. Don't ever think your stuck. God will give you other opportunities. Keep striving to make yourself better to eventually do your own thing. Been a long time fan of Dr Berg. I'm 56 and I just started working out again so important for your mind. I had gout id say chronic. I had chronic inflammation and auto immune was pre diabetic went to a wellness Dr. Go figure insurance doesn't cover them. Went gluten free and trying my best to stay away from processed foods
I made a plan 2 years ago to move out of the city, it is about to happen this spring. I don't like the smell, sounds, traffic and look off the city. I have what could be a stressful job on the phones, but I use stress relieving techniques daily to chill out while I'm working. People be nice to those you interact with, think about the fact they are trying to help you, also don't interrupt those that are trying to help you. Basically some take your stress out on someone else. Calm yourself before you call. Thanks

Thank you Dr. Berg. I'm 54 years old. No prescription medications. Struggled with psoriasis since I was 13. I started taking vitamin D3 and K2. No more out breaks of psoriasis. 👍
Many people have used rotation diets to identify specific foods that trigger psoriasis. Also have fixed it by fasting. Look up Dr. Valter Longo he is the premier fasting scientist I exchanged email with him years ago they were using 4-day veg juice fasts to stop skin disorders like the ones all the new drugs constantly advertised on TV now are aimed at (root cause is autoimmunity though they never say that on the ads). I healed horrific "atopic dermatitis" (MD words for skin so broken down there was no normal skin) in 3 days on fruit juice AM veg PM kept fast going for 7 days and every time symptoms returned fasted and stopped it in 1-2 days. Rotation diet ID'd causes as 1.dairy 2.nuts 3.eggs 4. red meat. 5. fish Since re-worked fish back in (sardines salmon) 1-2 eggs a week 3 soaked almonds in my smoothie small quantities of red meat 1-2 times a week. Still off dairy. No symptoms for 1 1/2 years also do 24-hour a day (one meal a day) fasts a couple times a week. MDs had only oral-topical-injected steroids which only worked briefly then skin re-erupted as bad as ever. They did no speak of food except my non-specialist MD counseled vs. dairy but then said DO NOT fast.
Dear Dr. Berg, your videos were recommended to me by my son - he is 27 years old and I am very glad that recently he really understood what proper nutrition is. "What ever your doctor tells you do the opposite!" LoL! When I was diagnosed with Diabetes my doctor told me to reduce my carbs to 70 grams per meal. I thought she set the bar low. I cut it down to less than 30 per day and often near zero. My A1C went from 14.7 to 5.6 in 8 months.
I went to a doctor for help weening off of the pain medicines they had put me on for rheumatoid arthritis. He made the assumption, despite what I was telling him, that I was after more pain medicines. There is the problem. Doctors look at you and assume. They make appearance-based assumptions on you, and THEY DO NOT LISTEN! So, I fired that doctor. Next, I did research. I went into meditation, healthy eating, and walked a lot. As a result, I got off the pain medicines and my rheumatoid cleared up. I cut back on nearly all my medicines. In the end, you know your body. You are your best doctor. Healthy lifestyle and exercise are the best medicine. Popping pills is the wrong direction. Doctors should be there to help in emergencies. They should not be pill distributers.
@@jdamommio I started with a total fast for 3 days. Then I went to a 1 meal a day plan for a couple weeks. After that I went to a 2 meal a day plan and have been on that for about 3 years now. I almost completely cut out sugar. I still use a little in my coffee and just an occasional dessert. I haven't eaten any fast food at all for years. It's poison. I only eat occasionally at a restaurant, usually selecting something light when I have to go. I weened myself off of years of Tramadol, it took a few months of slow weening since the doctor wouldn't help me. You have to go slow, or you can have severe physical consequences. They also had me on a biologic injection. I quit that cold turkey and feel better for it. I have 2 dogs and i walk 3-4 miles a day with them, stretch a lot, and do light weights every other day. I only eat natural foods and meats. This regimen worked for me. I think it may help some people. I'm not saying don't use a doctor. If you have one who listens and will help you find a healthier way, so much the better. My doctor just didn't listen. So, I took my health into my own hands. I can only suggest what worked for me. I am not telling you what to do. Do some research. The choices are yours.
@@jdamommio I cannot tell you what to do. I can only say what worked for me. Healthy eating. No fast food. Very light meals. Intermittent fasting. Lots of vegetables, meat, and some carbs, but a lot less than I used to eat. Less sugar. Exercise, stretching, lowering stress, light weights. I also found a doctor who finally listened and was ok with my less pills and more holistic lifestyle. I am not saying don't go to the doctor. Find a doctor who listens. I lost 50 pounds and had a lot less joint pain and more energy.
I agree!! I believe that my husband was given way too many medications daily for 20+ years!! He passed away in July! I’ve got RA for a year now. I’m so careful with my diet but I just can’t kick the Prednisolone steroids. Taking 3.5 mg daily this week and can barely move. Are you taking any nsaids? They want me on Remicade or Humira and I find those drugs terrifying.
@@heatherthompson3670When I detoxed off of NSAIDS it was the worst pain-worse than detoxing off the opiates & the methotrexate. I’ve had RA for years. Listening to Berg, I’ve totally reversed it. The Prednisone & NSAIDs are TERRIBLE for you. I’m sorry but your body can’t heal with these narcotics… & they are narcotics. So when I quit NSAIDS (took them like candy btw, always in pain), it felt like glass im my joints breaking. Don’t know how I made it through those 2 weeks. Pot can help-at least pot & kratom are natural/herbal… for me, I feel like all the synthetic manmade crap is terrible. Listen to Berg. I would immediately start taking like 10 of his 10,000 IU Vitamin D3 & K2 (100K iu for therapeutic-you want to clear out that cortisol), & magnesium. Maybe you can sleep through the detox, but if I were you, I’d really try…. Like you don’t have to cold turkey it like I always did, you can try to step down, but for gods sake get that crap out of your system. Feed it real food (proteins, fats: meat), & REST. I just lost my husband at age 54 to prostate metastasize the bone cancer. Hundred percent cancer set in 2022 after unexpectedly losing his dad and then 10 days later his mom. We know it was his diet, even though we had been trying to get healthy for years. He had asthma for years and stomach problems diverticulitis. He had been raised on a vegetarian diet. It took four months from the diagnosis to him passing. Missed a lot of warning signs in thinking he was just depressed from his parents, but it’s all in intertwined. I am convinced of it.
I was born and raised in Los Angeles, I grew to hate California. I left at the age of 42, 10 years later I live in the country in the South and am much happier and less stressed out.
I've been following you for a year now. Doctors almost killed me with meds. 63 no meds never felt better in my life. Energy up. Had 3 back surgeries over 35 years of hell. Never been better. Thank you. Doctors won't look me in the eyes. Lol
50 years old here. Suffered from spinal disc issues and pinched nerve problems thst have lowered my quality of life for the past 5+ years. My primary care physician prescribed painkillers, referred me to a neurologist, then a specialist who instantly recommended steroid injections. Then came physical therapy, to no avail. I finally had enough and went to a chiropractor for the first time who did an adjustment to realign my spine. It was a miracle. It must have released the pinched nerve and allowed proper recirculation throughout my body. Within a week, several health issues started to improve and I feel better now than I did in almost a decade. I take no meds, just vitamins that Dr. Berg recommends, especially wheat juice powder. Take control of your life and don't rely on doctors and pills.
Well, I turned 50 this year, and for the last five years, I have worked at Amazon without a day on sick leave. I have taken magnesium with zinc for the last 3-4 years, supplement Vit D in the autumn and winter, I don't use a lot of salt and am involved in physical activities. Way to go!
Might look into using more salt if you're physically active and sweating. Make sure to use sea salt like Redmond, not cheap table salt that has added chemicals. A good balance of salt and potassium are important.
I've been taking a Vitamin D3 that comes with K2 as well. It's 5,000 IU of D3 and 90 mcg of K2. I just ordered 2 bags of Vitamin D3 with K2 from a different manufacturer and the dosage is higher in the new D3 that I ordered. Still waiting on it to be delivered. The new stuff I have coming is from a company called Vitalboost and the dosage is 10,000 D3 and 200 mcg of K2 and it comes with coconut oil that helps your body to absorb it better. You get 300 capsules per bag and each capsule is that amount.
@@DynoSauR4Truth that's a great method. I did a discreet method of D3 and separate K2(MK7) doses. Reason is that I can control each dose. I'm doing 40K IU of D3 and 600 mcg of K2 at this time
Love Dr Berg!! Being a nurse I see the problems in the health system. I ended up being diagnosed with SVT (HR 240+)and ended up on cardic ward for 5 days on MI pathway. I'm pretty healthy 47yr old, I was not concerned. However felt compelled to comply with their procedures as I worked there. After being released with nil real findings just wanted me on drugs. I basically told cardiologist I chose not to take meds and agreed to monitor. I ended up leaving hospital work. I went on a self healing/spiritual journey and have not had an episode since. I believe was stress and not listening and following my path. Now doing community nursing. No episodes. Much happier and healthier. Listen to your body!!! And Dr Berg. 😜🥰
If you love dark meat chicken, you have the leg up from those who prefer white meat. Dark meat, which is found in chicken thighs and legs, contains about 1.5 mg of zinc for every 3 oz
Chicken hearts! It's muscle tissue but contains more beneficial substances. Also they tend to be relative cheap. Soups, stews, marinated and grilled ...
Yes but you gotta eat a lot of chicken to get what you need. Yes u can take suppl. Oysters best zinc of anything on the planet. I really don't luv them but you can add things to make taste better. Oysters Rockefeller..
I love videos like this one ... solve the problem instead of masking the symptoms (which causes other symptoms). I'm on disability, my LTD payer tried to cut-off my income because I stopped taking medicine, but I fought it and won.
In today's world, we are bombarded with information (and noise) everywhere around us. We don't realize how much we need to "escape" or manage this constant stress until we become ill from it. While I know this suggestion will not be popular, I strongly think that our cel phones and mobile devices should also be limited for use -- I grew up without them and do not see the need to be to be in constant connection with others around us. Thank you for a condensed and valuable video to help us see what nutrition and life changes can be most helpful for us.
I agree with everything he said but disagree with doing 2 meals a day , imagine consuming 2 meals of 1,250 calories, those meals will raise blood sugar levels through the roof, by splitting those 2,500 calories in 5 small meals of 500 calories that amount of calories won't spike sugar levels that is why we bodybuilders do that.
True story. Had a tooth infection, no medical insurance, ate ruby red grapefruit and used other natural methods and was healed! Trusted God. Stood on Psalm 23, Psalm 91, Psalm 121
Greetings from Estonia. This advice here is pure gold. Me and my wife started living this way about 3 years ago, we are 53 y old and it helped a lot .Here in media is still keto diet and transmitting fasting taboo but that is the way it is here. Now is the one thing left to do change the environment🙂.Kudos for this video Dr.👍
I'm glad you mentioned the link between potassium and sodium. I read the white paper on this topic about 25 years ago, and the research had been done some forty years before that, meaning any MD who wanted to learn the correct info could have found the same research papers and learned that simply pitching a "low sodium" diet is not the correct path. Nice video!
This is a weird story not really related but might help someone. It all started when my indoor cat got out of the house and was lost for four days. It came home in bad shape, dehydrated and foot pads were damaged. I took it to the vet and hoped for the best. A couple of days went by and my cat started wobbling and could hardly walk, she couldn't walk to the litter box without help, when she tried drinking water its head fell into the bowl, her eyes drooped and she looked terrible. I took her to the emergency hospital and the vet said she had anemia and would need a blood transfusion. It would cost 1000 plus 1000 a night in the hospital with a total of two nights and I could not afford that so I said I'll take her home. I knew from reading in a book that Nutritional Yeast was good for anemia so I mixed some up with water and fed it to my cat from an eyedropper every hour and a couple of times in the middle of the night. Within three days I saw progress and in three weeks of giving her this yeast she was as good as new. Yeast is a very important food and will help with a lot of things.
May I ask you what „ Hashimoto‘s in remission mean? You don‘t take thyroid hormones any more? The structure of your thyroid gland improved? You don‘t have antibodies any more? Thanks for answer!

Thanks you make sense to me. I changed my diet 3 years ago because of your channel and what a difference that has made. I’m 35 pounds lighter and no more joint pain. Sure I could do better. But I know your system works. Thanks again.
Thanks Dr Berg. This video is not only good for people over 50 but under 50 too. And your last words "health has to be created it's not automatically happen " are golden words.
I'm about to turn 52, my health has changed dramatically in the past 3 months. I started carnivore and will never look back. I am down 68 lbs from my heaviest. I am no longer on blood pressure meds. I don't use a CPAP to sleep and I don't snore ( wife used to have to wear ear plugs) I sleep great, I feel great. Redmonds salt is the best.
Good for you. I'm astonished at how people don't want to hear the truth about Keto Carnivore for better health. I run into people who ask what I did to look do good (I've shed 40lbs), and when I tell them about Keto Carnivore, the look in their eyes says it all. They'd rather wanted to hear about the latest high dollar plan. They can't wrap their heads around the idea of no calorie counting, expensive shakes, pre-prepared meal plans. But what it really always, every single time boils down to, is the part of little to no sugar lifestyle. They'd rather be sick, than to give it up.
64 and no meds, no surgeries, no arterial carotid stenosis, not overweight, some leaky gut….changed to more Keto diet last year, cholesterol went up and the sleep is so good, Dr. Berg must be right for us ❤
I haven't trusted doctors in 30 years. I had a holistic doctor until about 3 years ago, when even they started giving strange solutions. You, Dr. Berg, is the only person that I get my information. You make sense and explain it without fanfare. I like that. Thank you.
I follow you Dr.Berg and do the best I can do to follow your advice and as a heart patient take it to heart.I do take my D3 and as you advised I also take MK7-K2 with my D3 to try and keep my arteries unclogged,Because I was born with heart disease and I just had my 14th Stent put in on November 19th 2024 so I need and had my first heart attack jogging on May 17th 2003 22 yrs ago.I am now 61 yrs old and I really want to hang around a while longer to see my 8 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren grow up to the point that my great grand children remember me.God Bless you Dr.Berg for your hard work and doing your research on health.
I was so sick since last a year.I am too lazy to see my family doctor. Finally I became serious and listen to you.I am taking right vitamins, diet and fasting.I am taking a month vitamins and 17h fasting about a week now.Avoiding stress and cut hard weight work out for now, just cycle class. Finally I am feeling better.I was wondering why my nails were soft but now…getting hard too.Thank you so much all advised and I’m looking forward new movies too.I will forward this movie to my husband.😊
I had bad IBS that kept getting worse. I suffered with it more as time went on for about 4 years until I started taking magnesium and within a few months I was completely cured. Over the years I've had high cholesterol as well. Docs all wanted me to go on statins but I refused. My current doc wanted to do the same. He talked me into getting a CAC test and said if I got all "0"s he would stop pushing me to go on them. I got the scan. All "0"s. Not bad for a 67 yr old. It's so important that we do our own research and advocate for ourselves. Thank you Dr. Berg for helping me to understand this.
@@thelaceygirl I started taking Magnesium Glycinate 500 mg daily and Triphala. I took the Triphala only for a few months. I never stopped taking the Magnesium because when I stop (due to being lazy), within a week I start to notice some of my old issues returning. I had a lot of symptoms that made me totally miserable. It got worse over time. The meds the doc prescribed only gave me side effects. Some of my symptoms: Diarrhea that would turn into extremely painful bloating constipation. The constipation would get so bad that I would get shooting pains in my arse when trying to go to the bathroom. Taking laxatives would just bring back the diarrhea. My stomach area was so inflamed it would actually feel hot. I didn't have symptoms all the time but when it hit (never figured out what triggered it) it got bad and each time seemed to get worse and worse. To say I was miserable would be an understatement. I am 100% convinced that the Magnesium healed me.
@@thelaceygirl Magnesium is used in over 350 processes in the body that we know about. And most of us are deficient in it. An easy way to increase your magnesium is soak your foot in warm water with 1/4 cup of Epsom salts. Your body will absorb what it can use. I do this twice a week for 15-20 minutes to replenish my magnesium supplies. And plants will love the used water as they need magnesium too.

6:23 I met a neighbor who was caring for her mother & she accidentally took her mother’s “sugar pill” instead of her own. The spike in blood sugar caused her to pass out, fall & break her hip. She’s in her 70s. I wanted to ask her why they were taking glucose on purpose?!? Her story confirms diabetes care keeps people sick.
Agree with all of this. Been through the mill with drs misdiagnosing me and trying to force me to take medication i didn't need (and wouldn't take). Thankfully I found a fantastic natural health practitioner and now, at 70, have been free of disease and still not on any meds 😊
If you slice beef liver very thinly, season it with a lot of garlic, then fry it with a healthy fat until it's crispy with sauteed onions, it's pretty edible. 😉
As a kid I hated beef liver, until a neighbor showed my mom how to prepare it with onions and bacon. Delicious. Now my family looks forward to dinner with beef/calf liver. Usually soak beef liver in milk for 10 min before cooking it. Then plenty of onions and, for us, lots of garlic!
@JohnMcCW41 True, a lot of people soak it in milk. I haven't eaten it in decades, just added it to my shopping list to give it a go. I don't believe I've ever prapared it myself.
After following Dr Berg for years. At 66 I’m much healthier. If I eat sugars I start craving them and end up with infections. Consuming gluten and starches I get sinus and gut issues. Seed oils just make me feel sick all over. I was able to pinpoint these through IMF and PF (I feel the best on day 3 into the fast).
Last blood draw showed extreme levels of iron. 😮 Please do one of your fabulous CONCISE videos on foods to avoid and how to drop high iron levels. Love you, Dr. Berg!
Can’t thank you enough Dr Berg! Doctors have limited time with patients that’s the problem we have nowadays. I remember when I was younger and living abroad, doctors would sit down and have a conversation to explain and understand their patient. Unfortunately that kind of relation doesn’t exist here. They let you in and tell you, do it yourself.
I've been watching alot of natural path videos, and the most common thread of success is...Exercise, particularly hard working 💪 Exercise. And the close second is... cutting sugar and starches down to a minimum.🤔
My doctor told me that I have Hashimoto's trioditis and that I have to take L-thyroxine for the rest of my life. I asked questions and got no answers except that I have to take this medicine every day, I suffered and everything was blamed on Hashimoto's. I forgot to take L-thyroxine for four days and all the side effects that I had for twelve years from taking this medicine were gone, so I do not trust a diagnosis and do not take the doctor's statements one hundred percent for granted. Now I'm happy without nonsense medicine.
Calcification of soft tissues is a major cause of pain, tendinitis, arthritis, rotator cuff pain and injury, hip pain leading to replacements, elbow pain, knee pain leading to replacements and the list goes on and on.
Hi, I worked on health care, am 56, what I saw and got from my uncle's passing in 2001, from medication, when he was younger, yet, that medication caused problems from he's 59s, on, I have a head cold at minute it's 11pm in Ireland, boiled, onion and garlic, drained and sipping the water.. doesn't taste bad at all. I have always been overweight and tried every diet under the book. It was only by chance I met someone in a clothing shop who heard me muttering about the lack of XXL clothing. I used to get out of breath climbing stairs, my knees, back, ankles all hurt. I used to suffer heartburn and sleep disorder. He mentioned stress,by far the worst thing that impacts our health. We can literally make ourselves sick if we don’t know how to relax!
It just makes me wonder how much that affects the health stats we've seen since 2020. I know I had things like psoriasis come out of nowhere that were from stress overload. I suppose it could've been shedding but I've been so stressed.
Yes, stress is a big killer
@mamandapanda185 I never had it, then suddenly my body was covered with it. I left my cheating husband and it completely disappeared! Stress plays a huge part on our health!
SO SO TRUE
Stress changes our biochemistry, realeses stress hormones...and this affects long term our bodies.
Even acute stress...or chronic or both.
Also, stress depletes rapidly all our nutrients.
Go figure if the stress is prolonged, decades even and acute also in the mix.
A little stress here and there is maybe ok.
But i think, most have of everything to much stresses.
This just reminded me of something about keto diet, this book called “The 23 Former Doctor Truths by Lauren Clark”. My health shifted in a whole new way.

Hi! First, i had a full bloodwork done to identify what my deficiencies were, and then I started curating supplements: VitD3K2, Magnesium Glycinate, and zinc, among others (I had many deficiencies).

Every time he
saw a doctor( pulmonologist, allergist, cardiologist etc..,) he was given prescription meds instead of curing him!! I can’t stand going to

Make sure to take HUGE doses of Vit D, Magnesium glycinate, probably Zinc. His supplements are the cleanest, nicest… get his electrolyte drink, that helps (your potassium probably off) Good Luck & godspeed.

It’s very sad, I m so sorry 🙏
I'm so very sorry for your loss ❤
I’m sorry for your loss
Sending you love, he was very young. Sorry you lost him...
Sending love and hugs. Lost our mother of January this year at the ripe age of 80. We will get by soon.
I was born and raised in Los Angeles, I grew to hate California. I left at the age of 42, 10 years later I live in the country in the South and am much happier and less stressed out.
Very glad the change was beneficial for you, Kristin!
Except the locals don't like you because you are from California
Where are you now, and are you happy, I wonder?
I could never leave CA & I’m pretty stress free … everyone’s different ❤
@nbee2724 you must be living the life?!
Well, to be fair, a chiropractor is a doctor of sorts, no?
@@annanajduch5201chiropractors and osteopaths are alternative medicines.
Did they rule out any structural spinal issues prior to adjustment?
Well, I turned 50 this year, and for the last five years, I have worked at Amazon without a day on sick leave. I have taken magnesium with zinc for the last 3-4 years, supplement Vit D in the autumn and winter, I don't use a lot of salt and am involved in physical activities. Way to go!
Might look into using more salt if you're physically active and sweating. Make sure to use sea salt like Redmond, not cheap table salt that has added chemicals. A good balance of salt and potassium are important.
Celtic salt👍
You should up the sodium 🧂
Quit bragging, you young whipper snapper! 🤣🤣🤣
I use loads of pink salt...so filled with minerals
Dr Berg is my GP for the last few years. Thank you
Addendum to this excellent video: add K2 (MK7) and especially B1
How much of each?
@cyang7850 Dr Berg has said in many other videos 20,000 to 50,000+ I.U. for D3 but my vitamins come WITH K2 in it.
For B1, I take 500 to 1000 mg.
@@DynoSauR4Truth that's a great method. I did a discreet method of D3 and separate K2(MK7) doses. Reason is that I can control each dose. I'm doing 40K IU of D3 and 600 mcg of K2 at this time
@@cyang7850 depends on goal. The ratio is 100mcg of K2 for each 1,000 of D3. (Edit: 100 to 1 ratio, not 10K to 1)
Love Dr Berg!! 😜🥰
I am addicted to junk and sugar and have the worst belly bloat. I'm going to do better. thanks!!

Wow 😮 good that you won!
This specific video is like 100 hours of watching RUclips in one great video. Keep this kind of content coming. 🎉
Great way of putting it. Yes, lots of good advice in one succinct video.
True story. Had a tooth infection, no medical insurance, ate ruby red grapefruit and used other natural methods and was healed! Trusted God. Stood on Psalm 23, Psalm 91, Psalm 121
Psalms 23,91 and 121 are very good healers spiritually, mentally and physically
How long did it take ? And how much grapefruit? And are you in a stress free lifestyle? Lots of variables.
Could you share the other natural methods.. (dosages..etc). Thank you.
Please could you share all the methods you used? Many thanks 🙏
Amen, God if good and he provides all the answers if we week HiS answers. 🎉❤

Nice video!
At 6:30. "Take less meds if you are coming off the carbs." I did this. It worked.
@@r4ng3rownz8 Ha! And cats are amazingly resilient. Glad you got to keep your cat and your $2K.

Thanks Dr Berg. This video is not only good for people over 50 but under 50 too. And your last words "health has to be created it's not automatically happen " are golden words.
Most welcome!
@davidjudd951 well it's an addiction, the sugar addict suffers.
@wgterry73ify
Yes, it is an addiction.
Awesomeness brother

What type of Magnesium did you take? What symptoms did it resolve?
What type of magnesium did you take also how many milligrams daily?
@@thelaceygirl Magnesium is used in over 350 processes in the body that we know about. And most of us are deficient in it. An easy way to increase your magnesium is soak your foot in warm water with 1/4 cup of Epsom salts. Your body will absorb what it can use. I do this twice a week for 15-20 minutes to replenish my magnesium supplies. And plants will love the used water as they need magnesium too.

If you slice beef liver very thinly, season it with a lot of garlic, then fry it with a healthy fat until it's crispy with sauteed onions, it's pretty edible. 😉
@living2day617 I loooove beef tongue! 👍💖
Definitely a person has to know how to cook liver for sure.

@JohnMcCW41 True, a lot of people soak it in milk. I haven't eaten it in decades, just added it to my shopping list to give it a go. I don't believe I've ever prapared it myself.
Exercise doesn't necessarily "flush" out cortisol, it can actually raises it depending on intensity.
After following Dr Berg for years. At 66 I’m much healthier. If I eat sugars I start craving them and end up with infections. Consuming gluten and starches I get sinus and gut issues.
