I’m 58 post menopausal woman who has lost 36 lbs in 3 months. I did intermittent fasting, low-carb and wegovey. I literally only eat to give my body energy. No emotional eating, no cravings for carbs or sweets and sustained mood and energy. I can’t believe how much less anxiety I have even though I’m going through some major life changes. My blood sugar doesn’t go up and down so I never get hungry. I literally eat one meal a day and 1 or 2 snacks within a 6 hour period. I sleep better and don’t get the afternoon slump. Been almost two years since i discovered this channel and adopted intermittent fasting. Has changed my life and I’m much more attuned to my body, weight, and overall energy. Sometimes I OMAD. Sometimes I go thru a 48 hour fast, and throw in 72 hour fast whenever my body tells me I need to. Never looked and felt better in my 50 years. The most consistent weight management of my life. I feel great!!! It’s not as hard as you think it’s going to be. Objectify food as a nutrient source and define what you want to put in your body. Dr Berg notes: A caloric deficit is not a sustainable way to lose weight or get a flat stomach! Most people find that their metabolism slows down in their 20s and 30s after a series of calorie-restrictive diets. Lowering calories increases hunger and cravings, which will require immense willpower and can stifle weight loss. The caloric deficit model is not sustainable! Insulin is the hormone that controls whether you burn or store fat. If you reduce insulin, you can tap into your body fat for energy. Carbohydrates have the most significant effect on insulin, while fat is neutral and protein has a moderate impact. All calories are not the same! To lose weight, you must lower insulin, which means you must reduce your carb intake. If you’re on a low-carb diet, your body can use both food and body fat for fuel. This eliminates hunger and cravings between meals. Fat provides more than double the energy of glucose. It takes 2 to 3 days to get into ketosis and 2 to 3 weeks for fat adaptation. Fat adaptation means your body is burning the most fat possible. Your body can burn ketones and fat, which are two different fuel sources. To get your body into ketosis, carbohydrates should make up about 5% of your diet, protein 20%, and fat 75%. Visceral fat in the abdomen may prevent a flat belly, but you can eliminate it with this diet. The dead bug exercise stimulates the fascia and muscles that can act as a girdle, giving you a flat belly fast! Dear Doctor Berg, I can confirm that everything you said is true! I'm 52 years old and as a child, my overweight grandma and mother tried every diet. "Potatoe diet", "rice diet", "egg diet" ... and I ate their meals too. They lost a few pounds, gained them back ... and when I was an adult, I had the same problem. I tried a lot of diets, even one where they send you meals so you don't have to go out and shop. Nothing worked, I was hungry all the time, it was exhausting. Eventually, I gave up. Then my doctor told me I had a mild case of diabetis, told me to never eat white bread again, throw out my candy and prescribed Metformin. I discovered your channel, never took the Metformin, threw out my sugar, went keto, lost weight within months, never went to bed hungry! In fact, I ate as much as I wanted, still lost weight. I second that, exactly what worked for me like magic. Lost 30 kg in around 6 months and 10 more kgs to go. I eat around 50 grams carbs ( I don't count carbs from fiber as carbs) at least 5 days a week and 20% calories deficit. Majority calorie is from protein. weekends are cheat days usually
I’m 5’1” and was 180lbs, but I weighed as much as 210lbs. I started walking and doing keto. I also did a lot of dead bugs. I’m done to 125lbs. Two weeks now. I’ve eliminated carbs and quit liquor. I increased protein and healthy fats. I can’t believe how much better I feel. Had a headache and felt poorly for 3 days. Now, I have energy to go all day. No more needed naps in the afternoon. No cravings.

By following HEALTHY keto, 2MAD and daily morning walks, I've lost 55 pounds, healed acid reflux and mostly resolved my sleep! I actually eat more calories now. That is amazing because I am 54 years old and have a hypothyroid condition; I experience high cortisol too. I used to think being fat and sick was just part of being a middle aged woman. BUT, once I actually started applying the content on this channel, I transformed to a younger version of myself. Yesterday, my neighbor said I look younger too! ;)
@@angelacooper5682 I started the journey December 5, 2023. It wasn't a perfect path. Between Dec - May, I had lost 20 pounds overall. Then, May-December, the rest fell off fast so fast it amazed me. I think that's because my sleep improved, and I was getting plenty of summer sunshine every day. I also believe my body got better at absorbing nutrients. It's as if there was an inflection point.

So maturely low carb, meaning cut milk, wheat flour, rice, beans, candy, cokes, cakes, anything with refined sugars. Thank you for this ❤ the "dead bug" can be easily practiced everyday on a hard bed or yoga mat. Just one exercise is much easier than those complicated exercise combinations where every 30 seconds there is a new move to do. Just doing one exercise repetitively for 10 minutes is much more relaxing. Our minds can chill out while we do it, getting into a flow state.
I’ll only eat twice a day been doing this for over a year now. Some days I’ll only eat once. I’ve cut out most carbs, although I will eat small portions of pasta from time to time. With my cycling to work and simple exercise routine it has been amazing how I feel and look. And I’m going to keep going. I like this lifestyle. I think the traditional breakfast lunch and dinner routine is suitable for people who have physically demanding jobs or lifestyles, but the world we live in these days is a lot more sedentary than it once was and maintaining that traditional eating routine produces a calorie expenditure and results in weight gain. I had to get acclimated by feeling hungry for a while and finding things to distract me from snacking. Like all things it seems it’s about ridding old habits and replacing them with new ones. And it takes work. Nothing is easy if it is worth anything to you.
I'm a Callanetics instructor and let me tell you it's a great and fast way of keeping weight off. Been doing it for 29 years and I love my carbs but don't overdo them. I've maintained the same weight for the last 17 years
You mean callanetics or the diet? I used to do callanetics 30 years ago for years, at first every day, after a cpl of months just several times a week, and that gives you a perfectly toned strong body (my abdominal muscles were in such great shape that a guy who came back from his military training to be a sort of a navy seal couldn't do some of the exercises I could do!) I later started jogging and loved it somewhat more than callanetics (just the being outside, slightly less monotone for my brain, too, I guess) and it has a lot of benefits but I keep thinking callanetics is unbeatable as a all-round exercise regimen - low impact on your joints, great impact on your muscles even though you use just your body weight, activating muscles that ballet dancers use, not just the several biggest muscles that some gym equipment would target, AND you can do it at home, no need to even put on any shoes. I still do some of the exercises and have been thinking of doing the whole routine again since I can't jog regularly now due to some circumstances
One way to add to the benefits of the dead bug, add light weights to the hands and ankle weights and with time and consistency add weight. Starting with 3-5lbs and alternating arms back, coordinate with the dropping of the legs all while activating core. Love this! Thank you Dr. Berg! It's not just lower your calories. It is lowering carbohydrate calories. Less cravings. Tap into your fat. But don't forget regular exercise. Great video explaining efficient diets.
My body is weird. Yesterday I only had food until about 14.30 because I had some errands to run so lunch was late. Then I had dinner again, which was take-away, a beef burger on its own., followed by a donut. When I weighed myself this morning, I had lost 1kg. Note that I have also started taking magnesium and Vit B supplements since day before yesterday so that could be something to note as well that my sleep was a lot better since starting with Mg. hence the weight loss despite having junk last night.
It has nothing to do with "calories". But yes, carbs are the thing to lower significantly, while raising the natural animal fats and protein. If you get enough natural animal fat with the protein at each meal, you will be satiated without ever stuffing yourself. The animal protein and fat digest easily and your body utilizes as building blocks, the amino acids in the protein. Excess carbs will get stored as fat, and can cause many people indigestion, gas, bloating and the anti-nutrients, lectins and oxalates, etc.
No it is not. I eat the horse diet and my belly is going down and firming up at the same time. I eat 450 grams of carbs a day at the most and I don't get hungrier and I burn at least 200 calories. Bob Harper wrote the book super carb diet and it works.

I educated myself…As where my PCP never educated me, just prescribed meds….I have reversed my T2D. went from A1C of 7.6 to 5.1….fasting insulin of 26 to 4…lost approx 65lbs, off the HBP meds, no more brain fog, greatly improved my deep and REM sleep, no more kidneystones and no gout flareups
I'm meat-based ketogenic. I can do a 30-hour fast, no problem. Today is a fasting day, a 20-hour fast, using it to clean up my system. When I work out, I dont get tired, and I don't get sore.
I do love Dr. Berg. What I do recommend is for people to learn there is a difference between “stomach” and “abdominal”. Stomach is an organ within the body and cannot be visualized without the aid of x-rays, etc. Abdomen/belly is an area of the anterior portion of the body.

My weight loss plateaued with keto and fasting, so I do now track my calories, and I lost the additional 10kg I couldn’t budge. It does work. However, my calorie “budget” is made up of only whole foods and a vast majority of it is protein and vegetables, no refined sugar or refined carbs, only natures carbs, so I am never hungry. I still intermittent fast and with these two tools combined, it’s worked & continues to work for me

I’m currently on a carnivore diet, consuming well over 3,000 kcal daily, yet still losing fat rapidly while effortlessly gaining muscle mass. Calorie-restrictive diets might work short-term, but they backfire far too often.
Carnivore for almost a year now and loving it! Will be 60 this year & feel great, have muscle and eat 2 meals a day, with at least a 16 hour fast after dinner to first meal next day. Got off my blood pressure meds within 3 months!

I hope you read this Dr. Berg, but I just want to say thank you so much. I don't even think I can properly express how much I mean that. I've had good success in improving my sleep quality over the last couple months with D/K/Magnesium Glycinate, but I finally gave B-1 a shot and oh my god. I've been dealing with my hands falling asleep to the point of being painful needles for the last year and a half while I'm in bed-causing me to constantly shift my sleep position and even waking me up painfully in the middle of the night-and when I went to sleep last night MY FIRST DAY taking B-1, I didn't experience it AT ALL. I was expecting it and sort of instinctively stretching out my hands to get the blood moving as I've become rather accustomed to it, and nothing. I was rather taken aback. It's great that somebody like you is on youtube putting this information out there free of charge, with excellent presentation. I have a tremendous amount of respect for that. Thank you!
Yes! I’m so glad you spoke about this including the fascia and atrophy … Plantar fasciitis (PF) can literally go away in 3 minutes by finding the most tender spot on your shin (the front of the calf bone), same side as PF, and press in on it for as long as you can stand it and that PF will be gone (max 3 min)...repeat until pain gone. I suffered from PF for almost a year until studied how to use blocks to release the fascia. ..now I don’t need a block when I can use my thumb, the handle in my brush - virtually anything to press on the tenderness and it releases the fascia. May 2025 give all better health!
I’m out of the country right now but when I get back I plan on doing a full 360, deep cleaning my room, purchasing a journal to write down a weekly and daily diet plan so I can finally get control of my life, I’ll update shortly

@@biancaol6968 for this exercise-correct to keep back pressing flat, thinking about pressing your belly button to the back of your spine into the floor. You should not be able to slide your hand under. To find it start with both knees bent into the chest and you can support holding one leg in at a time while the other one extends out then build up to no hands but with proper form. You will still get results from beginner progression. Hope that helps! 🤍
Great video. It’s so difficult to get my calorie counting friends to understand this! I see them struggling with deprivation and cravings but they just don’t accept the idea of not eating for 16-18 hours per day and then eating high protein and fat during the eating window. It’s truly liberating to do a healthy version of the ketogenic diet with intermittent fasting.
I just finished my 36 hours liquid fasting and it felt great! I do noticed the craving is gone since I start 14 to 16 hours intermittent fasting 4x a week! And 23 hours intermittent fasting for 3 days. Love Dr. Berg

Insulin goes hand on hand with ghrelin (the hunger hormone). The more insulin in the blood, the hungrier you get, and the glucagon (the fat burning hormone) is neutralized.

I also do intermittent fasting regularly, for the last 6 months and now usually eat once a day and feel great. Nothing makes my body feel like IF does. I have lost at least 20lbs. Now i really want to do it Keto style to get in tip top shape. Also, even with IF, I can walk 2 or more hours, about 8 miles, no problem. Thank you for showing this exercise! I can't plank, yet. I never want to do another crunch nor sit up, because they hurt my neck. But even at my flabbiest, I think I can do this. I can see, just as swimming and bicycling, this exercise works more areas than it seems. When I feel hungry during fasting time, I tell my body to, "Grab a snack off your fat."😊
This one feels really good, you feel your tummy stretch in a pleasant way, but innitialy it can be heavy to move your legs and arms if you arent trained. I start first with only legs with my arms over my head. Doing this on my bed before sleep and wake up, but its way more effective on a floor or exercise mat.
@AnnaMaria-zm8cv Having done these kinds of exercises in the past, I agree that a softer surface is a better place to start. When I was pregnant, I did such stretches in bed each morning. I have enough padding on my body that the floor will work fine now, but the getting down and up will be the "fun" part at first. 😅
@@Somebodys_Mother it gives me a good feeling I can just ´crash´ if something is too much. A hard floor is a hard floor when you drop haha. But it is usually a little tougher on a soft floor, but not for the dead bug. I do a lot of stretches and bed yoga before sleep and some exercises are easy for me without ever going to a gym, like getting up without using hands and back twists. Im always exited to follow a ´custom madeæ exercise plan only to find out they ask you to do things that are for the pro´s, like plann with lifting your hand off the floor while a beginner has difficulty enough with doing a plank just as it is haha
While trying to diagnose health issues I went carnivore diet and sugar free, accompanied with 2 prolonged fasting sessions. In two weeks, I lost 20 lbs and developed a resting six pack. Most guys need to flex or exhale to see the muscles but mine was just there.

You are 100% correct. My issue is unless I do all of my own cooking I cannot escape excessive carbohydrates. My wife is Philippine and nearly all her cooking includes high carbs. It truly is a struggle in the kitchen.
I’ve been doing keto for about six years. I admit I sometimes have fallen off. When I don’t follow a clean keto lifestyle, I have eczema, fatigue, brain fog, lower-back pain especially in the morning, and crippling plantar fasciitis. When I stick with clean keto and IF, ALL of it disappears….ALL OF IT!
I was 225 lbs at my heaviest, and I managed to get 177 lbs just by following a keto diet and severely restricting carbs. I am now at about 187 lbs and want to get to 175 or less. Also, the dead bug is a pilates exercise, which I am also getting into 😊
I’m 74 and went carnivore 3 years ago. Intermittent fasting. Wow what a life changer. Other than supplements (per Dr. Berg) I am on no medications. Lost 50 lbs but it’s about the energy benefit. 💙

Been almost two years since i discovered this channel and adopted intermittent fasting. Has changed my life and I’m much more attuned to my body, weight, and overall energy. Sometimes I OMAD. Sometimes I go thru a 48 hour fast, and throw in 72 hour fast whenever my body tells me I need to. Never looked and felt better in my 50 years. The most consistent weight management of my life. I feel great!!! It’s not as hard as you think it’s going to be. Objectify food as a nutrient source and define what you want to put in your body. A caloric deficit is not a sustainable way to lose weight or get a flat stomach! Most people find that their metabolism slows down in their 20s and 30s after a series of calorie-restrictive diets.
Lowering calories increases hunger and cravings, which will require immense willpower and can stifle weight loss. The caloric deficit model is not sustainable!
Insulin is the hormone that controls whether you burn or store fat. If you reduce insulin, you can tap into your body fat for energy. Carbohydrates have the most significant effect on insulin, while fat is neutral and protein has a moderate impact. All calories are not the same!
To lose weight, you must lower insulin, which means you must reduce your carb intake. If you’re on a low-carb diet, your body can use both food and body fat for fuel. This eliminates hunger and cravings between meals. Fat provides more than double the energy of glucose.
It takes 2 to 3 days to get into ketosis and 2 to 3 weeks for fat adaptation. Fat adaptation means your body is burning the most fat possible. Your body can burn ketones and fat, which are two different fuel sources.
To get your body into ketosis, carbohydrates should make up about 5% of your diet, protein 20%, and fat 75%. Visceral fat in the abdomen may prevent a flat belly, but you can eliminate it with this diet.
The dead bug exercise stimulates the fascia and muscles that can act as a girdle, giving you a flat belly fast! Do this exercise every day, and within 1 to 2 weeks, you will start to see amazing results!

Dear Doctor Berg, I can confirm that everything you said is true! I'm 52 years old and as a child, my overweight grandma and mother tried every diet. "Potatoe diet", "rice diet", "egg diet" ... and I ate their meals too. They lost a few pounds, gained them back ... and when I was an adult, I had the same problem. I tried a lot of diets, even one where they send you meals so you don't have to go out and shop. Nothing worked, I was hungry all the time, it was exhausting. Eventually, I gave up.
Then my doctor told me I had a mild case of diabetis, told me to never eat white bread again, throw out my candy and prescribed Metformin. I discovered your channel, never took the Metformin, threw out my sugar, went keto, lost weight within months, never went to bed hungry! In fact, I ate as much as I wanted, still lost weight. I second that, exactly what worked for me like magic. Lost 30 kg in around 6 months and 10 more kgs to go. I eat around 50 grams carbs ( I don't count carbs from fiber as carbs) at least 5 days a week and 20% calories deficit. Majority calorie is from protein. weekends are cheat days usually

Two weeks now. I’ve eliminated carbs and quit liquor. I increased protein and healthy fats. I can’t believe how much better I feel. Had a headache and felt poorly for 3 days. Now, I have energy to go all day. No more needed naps in the afternoon. No cravings.

By following HEALTHY keto, 2MAD and daily morning walks, I've lost 55 pounds, healed acid reflux and mostly resolved my sleep! I actually eat more calories now. @@angelacooper5682 I started the journey December 5, 2023. It wasn't a perfect path. Between Dec - May, I had lost 20 pounds overall. Then, May-December, the rest fell off fast so fast it amazed me. I think that's because my sleep improved, and I was getting plenty of summer sunshine every day. I also believe my body got better at absorbing nutrients. It's as if there was an inflection point.

@@brianedwardsu7404 Dr Berg has many videos on keto eating. It’s low carb, good amount of protein and good amount of “good” omega 3 fats. So maturely low carb, meaning cut milk, wheat flour, rice, beans, candy, cokes, cakes, anything with refined sugars. He has a ton of information and guidance on keto for you to check out in his videos.

Yesss!!! I started my fasting journey last year, and this has been the ONLY way I've been able to lose weight and keep it off. I'm 44yrs old and I feel and look better than I did back in my 20s & 30s. I'm also down to a size 14🥲 when I started my journey I was a size 22
Thank you for this ❤ the "dead bug" can be easily practiced everyday on a hard bed or yoga mat. Just one exercise is much easier than those complicated exercise combinations where every 30 seconds there is a new move to do.
Just doing one exercise repetitively for 10 minutes is much more relaxing. Our minds can chill out while we do it, getting into a flow state.
I’ll only eat twice a day been doing this for over a year now. Some days I’ll only eat once. I’ve cut out most carbs, although I will eat small portions of pasta from time to time. With my cycling to work and simple exercise routine it has been amazing how I feel and look. And I’m going to keep going. I like this lifestyle. I think the traditional breakfast lunch and dinner routine is suitable for people who have physically demanding jobs or lifestyles, but the world we live in these days is a lot more sedentary than it once was and maintaining that traditional eating routine produces a calorie expenditure and results in weight gain. I had to get acclimated by feeling hungry for a while and finding things to distract me from snacking. Like all things it seems it’s about ridding old habits and replacing them with new ones. And it takes work. Nothing is easy if it is worth anything to you.

I'm a Callanetics instructor and let me tell you it's a great and fast way of keeping weight off. Been doing it for 29 years and I love my carbs but don't overdo them. I've maintained the same weight for the last 17 years
You mean callanetics or the diet? I used to do callanetics 30 years ago for years, at first every day, after a cpl of months just several times a week, and that gives you a perfectly toned strong body (my abdominal muscles were in such great shape that a guy who came back from his military training to be a sort of a navy seal couldn't do some of the exercises I could do!) I later started jogging and loved it somewhat more than callanetics (just the being outside, slightly less monotone for my brain, too, I guess) and it has a lot of benefits but I keep thinking callanetics is unbeatable as a all-round exercise regimen - low impact on your joints, great impact on your muscles even though you use just your body weight, activating muscles that ballet dancers use, not just the several biggest muscles that some gym equipment would target, AND you can do it at home, no need to even put on any shoes. I still do some of the exercises and have been thinking of doing the whole routine again since I can't jog regularly now due to some circumstances
One way to add to the benefits of the dead bug, add light weights to the hands and ankle weights and with time and consistency add weight. Starting with 3-5lbs and alternating arms back, coordinate with the dropping of the legs all while activating core. Love this! Thank you Dr. Berg! My body is weird. Yesterday I only had food until about 14.30 because I had some errands to run so lunch was late. Then I had dinner again, which was take-away, a beef burger on its own., followed by a donut. When I weighed myself this morning, I had lost 1kg. Note that I have also started taking magnesium and Vit B supplements since day before yesterday so that could be something to note as well that my sleep was a lot better since starting with Mg. hence the weight loss despite having junk last night.
It has nothing to do with "calories".
But yes, carbs are the thing to lower significantly, while raising the natural animal fats and protein.
If you get enough natural animal fat with the protein at each meal, you will be satiated without ever stuffing yourself.
The animal protein and fat digest easily and your body utilizes as building blocks, the amino acids in the protein.
Excess carbs will get stored as fat, and can cause many people indigestion, gas, bloating and the anti-nutrients, lectins and oxalates, etc.
Correct, I see a big difference when I was eating more breads and junk instead of fruits and veggies. They weigh you down and make me feel like a blob
No it is not. I eat the horse diet and my belly is going down and firming up at the same time. I eat 450 grams of carbs a day at the most and I don't get hungrier and I burn at least 200 calories. Bob Harper wrote the book super carb diet and it works.
I can say by watching your videos along with other doctors. I educated myself…As where my PCP never educated me, just prescribed meds….I have reversed my T2D. went from A1C of 7.6 to 5.1….fasting insulin of 26 to 4…lost approx 65lbs, off the HBP meds, no more brain fog, greatly improved my deep and REM sleep, no more kidneystones and no gout flareups

I'm meat-based ketogenic. I can do a 30-hour fast, no problem. Today is a fasting day, a 20-hour fast, using it to clean up my system. When I work out, I dont get tired, and I don't get sore.

I do love Dr. Berg. What I do recommend is for people to learn there is a difference between “stomach” and “abdominal”. Stomach is an organ within the body and cannot be visualized without the aid of x-rays, etc. Abdomen/belly is an area of the anterior portion of the body.

My weight loss plateaued with keto and fasting, so I do now track my calories, and I lost the additional 10kg I couldn’t budge. It does work. However, my calorie “budget” is made up of only whole foods and a vast majority of it is protein and vegetables, no refined sugar or refined carbs, only natures carbs, so I am never hungry. I still intermittent fast and with these two tools combined, it’s worked & continues to work for me

I hope you read this Dr. Berg, but I just want to say thank you so much. I don't even think I can properly express how much I mean that. I've had good success in improving my sleep quality over the last couple months with D/K/Magnesium Glycinate, but I finally gave B-1 a shot and oh my god. I've been dealing with my hands falling asleep to the point of being painful needles for the last year and a half while I'm in bed-causing me to constantly shift my sleep position and even waking me up painfully in the middle of the night-and when I went to sleep last night MY FIRST DAY taking B-1, I didn't experience it AT ALL. I was expecting it and sort of instinctively stretching out my hands to get the blood moving as I've become rather accustomed to it, and nothing. I was rather taken aback. Yes! I’m so glad you spoke about this including the fascia and atrophy … Plantar fasciitis (PF) can literally go away in 3 minutes by finding the most tender spot on your shin (the front of the calf bone), same side as PF, and press in on it for as long as you can stand it and that PF will be gone (max 3 min)...repeat until pain gone.
I suffered from PF for almost a year until studied how to use blocks to release the fascia. ..now I don’t need a block when I can use my thumb, the handle in my brush - virtually anything to press on the tenderness and it releases the fascia. May 2025 give all better health!

You should not be able to slide your hand under. To find it start with both knees bent into the chest and you can support holding one leg in at a time while the other one extends out then build up to no hands but with proper form. You will still get results from beginner progression. Hope that helps! 🤍

I love Dr. Bergs videos I’m a long haul trucker and it’s hard to keep things on a consistent level…but I’ve been able to maintain weight through being strict.

Thank you for showing this exercise! I can't plank, yet. I never want to do another crunch nor sit up, because they hurt my neck. But even at my flabbiest, I think I can do this. I can see, just as swimming and bicycling, this exercise works more areas than it seems.
When I feel hungry during fasting time, I tell my body to, "Grab a snack off your fat."😊
This one feels really good, you feel your tummy stretch in a pleasant way, but innitialy it can be heavy to move your legs and arms if you arent trained. I start first with only legs with my arms over my head. Doing this on my bed before sleep and wake up, but its way more effective on a floor or exercise mat.
@AnnaMaria-zm8cv Having done these kinds of exercises in the past, I agree that a softer surface is a better place to start. When I was pregnant, I did such stretches in bed each morning. I have enough padding on my body that the floor will work fine now, but the getting down and up will be the "fun" part at first. 😅

@@Somebodys_Mother it gives me a good feeling I can just ´crash´ if something is too much. A hard floor is a hard floor when you drop haha. But it is usually a little tougher on a soft floor, but not for the dead bug. I do a lot of stretches and bed yoga before sleep and some exercises are easy for me without ever going to a gym, like getting up without using hands and back twists. Im always exited to follow a ´custom madeæ exercise plan only to find out they ask you to do things that are for the pro´s, like plann with lifting your hand off the floor while a beginner has difficulty enough with doing a plank just as it is haha

While trying to diagnose health issues I went carnivore diet and sugar free, accompanied with 2 prolonged fasting sessions. In two weeks, I lost 20 lbs and developed a resting six pack. Most guys need to flex or exhale to see the muscles but mine was just there.

How to Tighten and Flatten Stomach with Just ONE EXERCISE is one of the most effective videos I have ever seen. As a stubborn psychologist, I add one aspect to this magnificent lecture and that is that one needs four psychological qualities to achieve the goals set in this video. 1. Discipline, 2. I agree, I did keto for two years and I did lose weight but once I went back to eating normally I ended up gaining double🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️
You are 100% correct. My issue is unless I do all of my own cooking I cannot escape excessive carbohydrates. My wife is Philippine and nearly all her cooking includes high carbs. It truly is a struggle in the kitchen.

I’ve been doing keto for about six years. I admit I sometimes have fallen off. When I don’t follow a clean keto lifestyle, I have eczema, fatigue, brain fog, lower-back pain especially in the morning, and crippling plantar fasciitis.
When I stick with clean keto and IF, ALL of it disappears….ALL OF IT!

I was 225 lbs at my heaviest, and I managed to get 177 lbs just by following a keto diet and severely restricting carbs.
I am now at about 187 lbs and want to get to 175 or less.
Also, the dead bug is a pilates exercise, which I am also getting into 😊

I’m 74 and went carnivore 3 years ago. Intermittent fasting. Wow what a life changer. Other than supplements (per Dr. Berg) I am on no medications. Lost 50 lbs but it’s about the energy benefit. 💙
