Just changed started on Kenworth T660 with ISX15. Those three bolts were insanely tight on mine. Believe my breaker bar is 24", all I could do to break them. Makes heck of a pop when they break loose.

I always put a piece of paper in the socket between the bolt head to hold bolt in the socket. Grease gets too slippery.

The top bolt is the hardest to get to but the side one by the frame rail sees the most road salt. My side bolt cracked and broke off from the engine plate. Bolt is Grade 8 steel but the plate is cast aluminum. Good thing there was just enough left that I was able to use a longer bolt and large washer.

I usually disassemble the front of the starter to be able to use my impact wrench on all of the bolts. Every now and then you get one that the bolts are seized solid though 😣
